None of my critics/opponents, their operatives, or their dupes would lower themselves to take the jobs that I had doing yard work, delivering newspapers, washing dishes, cleaning golf shoes, chipping slag, pumping gasoline, delivering mail, working on an automobile assemble line, working as a security guard, selling tires, automotive services, and major appliances, collecting delinquent taxes, or auditing federal agencies.)

— Outrage Mounts Over Refusal of NFL Quarterback Colin Kaepernick to Stand for National Anthem – Eric Mack (DIERSEN: What does Kaepernick think of you? Kaepernick would agree with my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government who hinted/implied/argued/shouted that instead of me, the jobs and promotions that I got should have been given to poor Democrats, to poor minorities, to poor females, to poor younger people, and/or to poor veterans.)
http://www.newsmax.com/Headline/kaepernick-refuses-stand-national/2016/08/28/id/745539/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Outrage is growing over the refusal of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to stand for the national anthem before games because he believes the United States oppresses African Americans and other minorities. Kaepernick sat on the team’s bench Friday night during the anthem before the Niners played host to the Green Bay Packers in an exhibition game. He later explained his reasoning in an interview with NFL Media. “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said Saturday that “players are encouraged but not required to stand during the playing of the national anthem.” Rep. Pete King shot back on Sunday. “Colin Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the national anthem is entirely wrong,” King, a Republican Representative from New York’s second district, said in an email statement. “It is also an indicator of how low our cultural standards have been degraded that anyone is actually supporting this behavior. “. . . Having an NFL quarterback insult our flag by refusing to stand during the playing of the ‘Star Spangled Banner,’ adds neither honesty nor intelligence to that debate.”)

FED SMITH
— Average Salary Much Higher In Some Agencies – Ralph R. Smith
http://www.fedsmith.com/2016/08/28/average-salary-much-higher-in-some-agencies-than-others/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The General Schedule (GS) pay system for federal employees is gradually disintegrating. There are some federal agencies paying employees outside the more traditional General Schedule (GS) pay system and the average salary differences are striking. Individual salaries of many federal employees throughout government are available at FedsDataCenter.com. There are several factors that influence the wide variations in federal employee salaries. Pay in the non-traditional agencies often involves regulatory work in a high-paying industry such as financial services. But, even for traditional jobs that exist in other agencies, the pay is often much higher in agencies with a higher average salary and which are outside the traditional GS pay system. Moreover, while there was a pay freeze for several years, and the average federal salary increase has been going up very slowly, employees in some of these other agencies fared much better with their overall average salary. All of the data are based on compilations from the federal government but note the caveats below. For example, in 2015, the average salary for the federal workforce was $81,578 with a median salary of $76,131.)
