August 13 Evening Edition

— Trump’s spokeswoman Katrina Pierson says that it was Obama who ‘went into Afghanistan’ – Kurtis Lee  (DIERSEN: Of course, needless-to-say, Pierson would not have said that if she read GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails.  What do you say to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes who since 2000, have a) focused on stopping me from putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails together and sending them out and b) focused on stopping everyone from reading those emails?)
— Can Illinois voters amend their constitution or not? – Editorial

— AS THE DEMOCRAT PARTY’S STRANGLEHOLD ON CHICAGO, ON COOK COUNTY, ON ILLINOIS, AND ON AMERICA TIGHTENS: Violent crime in city up virtually across the board – Chris Fusco and Jordan Owen
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Anti-Trumps say “Robert De Niro compares Trump with ‘Taxi Driver’ character.” If you sought a government office or a political office, which movie characters would your critics/opponents compare you with and why?
— Chicago teacher pension fund overpaid 234, wants its money back – BGA  (DIERSEN: My Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government were furious that by paying the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) the 7% that would have been withheld from my paychecks plus interest, I got almost 3 years FULL-TIME CSRS credit for the almost 3 years that I worked for the Post Office PART-TIME 1966-1969.)
— Rising star GOP legislator Sen. Murphy cites family as he resigns – Tina Sfondeles  (DIERSEN: I took my Democrat GAO superiors’ early retirement “offer” on the day that it expired, September 30, 1997, when I was 49 years old because a) I would not again be eligible to retire until I was 55 years old 6 years later in 2003 and b) they made it clear that if I did not take their “offer” and I did not happily agree to be constructively if not literally demoted, they would get rid of me figuratively if not literally.  My dramatically reduced Civil Service Retirement System pension is only $50,720, or 42% of the $120,427 that GAO was paying me in 1997 in today’s dollars.)

— DIERSEN HEADLINE: “Moderate” Republicans focus on destroying the Republican Party.  The more planks in the Republican Party platform that you support, the harder that “moderate” Republicans work to get rid of you.

— OUSTANDING: Obama’s DEA: Marijuana has no ‘currently accepted medical’ value

— Trump fires up recruitment of poll watchers as he warns of election ‘cheating’ – David Weigel  (DIERSEN: How many illegals in America, in Illinois, in your county, in your township/ward, in your municipality, and in your precinct use their false identifications to vote for Democrats?)
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Anti-Trumps ask “Has Donald Trump hit bottom?”
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Anti-Trumps falsely claim that conservatives used to control the Republican Party. Conservatives never controlled the Republican Party.

— Trump solicits election observers after warning of vote rigging – Doug Stanglin and David M Jackson

— ARE WE HEADING FOR A RIGGED ELECTION? IT’S HAPPENED BEFORE  American politics has seen long, drawn-out elections decided by another branch of government in the past. – FRED LUCAS  (DIERSEN: Anti-Trumps are disciples of Saul Alinsky. They are moral relativists who believe that their end justifies their means.  They have made it clear that they can and will rig the election to elect Clinton and the rest of the Democrats.)

— ‘Your mother is voting for Trump, it’s true’: Donald Trump tells a protester to ‘go home to mom’ at a campaign rally after the demonstrator shouts ‘Black lives matter’ – KELLY MCLAUGHLIN
