— Biden: ‘They gave me a list here, the first person I was instructed to call on’ was NBC reporter – Victor Morton
(COMMENT: I have been the GOPUSA Illinois Editor since 2000. I should write a book about how the following have treated me: a) the leaders of the Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Illinois Republican Party, b) the leaders of the Wheaton Park District, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois, c) Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct, their political consultants, their major donors, their fundraisers, their campaign managers, their campaign staff members, and their campaign volunteers, and d) the leaders of TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois, Illinois Center Right Coalition, and American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: President Biden said at Thursday’s press conference on the fatal day in Afghanistan that he had been told by others what reporters to let question him. “They gave me a list here, the first person I was instructed to call on was Kelly O’Donnell, NBC,” he said. Conservative commentators quickly took the words and the president’s halting diction as confirmation of their longstanding belief that Mr. Biden is a puppet and not really in charge at the White House. “Who instructed him? Was that also the Taliban,” asked Greg Gutfeld on Fox News Channel immediately after.)

(COMMENT: In 1988 when I was 40 years old, I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged my GAO superiors with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. They succeeded in forcing me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old. Previously, they gave me unfair performance expectations and appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $20,361 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980.)
