— Deere to pay $275,000 to settle whistleblower lawsuit – Robert Channick  (DIERSEN: Do you know any wistleblowers?  While I worked for the federal government for almost 30 years, I blew the whistle on political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.  In 1988, I because an active member of a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.  To punish me, my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, did not promote me beyond GS-13, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take an $18,459 pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980.  My Democrat IRS superiors did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims.  My Democrat Post Office superiors forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests.  Of course, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes side with my Democrat GAO, IRS, and Post Office superiors.)

DAILY HERALD
— Wearing too many hats at the Bensenville Park District – Editorial  (DIERSEN: Government is nasty.  Politics is nasty.  Just kidding, but if I sought a government office or a political office, would my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes stress that while I worked for IRS full-time in Chicago in 1971 and then in Harvey in 1972, I also worked part-time for the Firestone Store in Chicago Heights?  Would they stress that in addition, I completed graduate business courses at Loyola in 1972?  Would they stress that in addition, I bought a new town home in University Park in 1972?  Would my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes hint/imply/argue/shout that because of the aforesaid, I could not do a “good job” for IRS during 1971 and 1972?  In my defense, IRS promoted me in 1972 from GS-7, currently $43,915, to GS-9, currently $53,717.)
http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20161222/discuss/161229621/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Vallez runs the Marengo, North Berwyn and Justice park districts.  Those three jobs paid Vallez a combined $244,714 last year, and under Illinois pension law, he must work a minimum of 58 hours a week for 52 weeks next year to qualify for his pension benefits from those districts. Those 58 hours do not account for the work he will do for Bensenville. There are plenty of people who work very hard, but after meeting that minimum 58 hours each week, what gas will he have left in the tank to do a good job in Bensenville — even if it is a 4½-month contract?)

CEBNTRAL ILLINOIS PROUD
— Trump team asks State for info on gender programs  Some fear programs may be targets of budget cuts  (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always hinted/implied/argued/shouted a) that instead of me, the Post Office should have hired a woman in 1966, b) that the Post Office should gotten rid of me much sooner than it did so that a woman could have my job, c) that instead of me, IRS should have hired a woman in 1971, d) that instead of me, IRS should have promoted women in 1972, 1973, and 1974, e) that instead of me, GAO should have hired a woman in 1980, f) that instead of me, GAO should have promoted a woman in 1986, and g) that GAO should gotten rid of me much sooner than it did so that a woman could have my job and my preferred corner office.)

CAPITOL FAX
— Reader comments closed for the holidays  (DIERSEN: I should write an article that compares and contrasts how activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, fundraisers, etc. in Illinois treat Rich Miller with how they treat me.  I would focus on those who state that they are Republican, but who a) pander to Miller and b) demonize, denigrate, and condemn me.)
