They knew that my wife would give me even more reasons for living and even more motivation a) to pass the CPA examination on my first attempt like I did in 1979, b) earn a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul like I did in 1980, c) pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt like I did in 1981, and d) become a licensed CPA like I did in 1981. They knew that because of her salary, we could afford my suffering a $20,147/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO like I did in 1980.)

AMERICAN THINKER
— The plight of the unwoke – Lynne Lechter (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes paint themselves as being very woke. I should write a book about them. They paint me as being someone who has unfairly benefitted from my being White, male, Missouri Synod Lutheran, German American, conservative, Republican, American, raised in Crete, raised by a stay-at-home mother, having good health, having ancestors who have been in America for a long time, earning college degrees, earning professional certifications, earning a professional license, working for the federal government for almost 30 years, getting married, and not having children.)
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/01/the_plight_of_the_unwoke.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Urban slang defines a person being “woke” or “wokeness” as someone being cognizant of “social justice.” Social justice, in this worldview, encompasses racism, feminism, gender fluidity, inequality, and “undocumented visitors” (illegal aliens). The very word connotes a superior state of being in which any opposing opinion is perceived as a personal affront, or even attack, and triggers the necessity for safe spaces. Opposing viewpoints are bludgeoned on college campuses and in the mainstream media as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, gun-toting, and Bible-thumping idiocies. Oh, the elitism — and blindness! The woke are really the unwoke — those with no sense of self-awareness of the hypocritical and self-aggrandizing images they actually project to the rest of us. Examples abound.)

TOWNHALL
— NowThis Isn’t Journalism – Adam Guillette
https://townhall.com/columnists/adamguillette/2020/01/18/now-this-isnt-journalism-n2559692
(FROM THE ARTICLE: NowThis and its allies are so desperate to smear President Donald Trump that they’re resorting to lies about the Holocaust. In one of the outlet’s latest propaganda pieces, NowThis sat down with a radical leftwing group of campus Jews and Palestinians and gave them an opportunity to promote their extremist views. While it’s nice to see Jews and Arabs sitting together in peace, the bloom comes off the rose when we learn that they have only come together to promote lies and hate. Perhaps the biggest lie perpetuated in the video occurred when one member of the group compared the plight of immigrants on the American border to that of Anne Frank.)

HOT AIR

— After Stretch IRAs, What Retirement Breaks Could Congress Chop Next? A handful of proposals on limiting retirement tax breaks have been circulating in Washington for years – Laura Saunders
https://www.wsj.com/articles/after-stretch-iras-what-retirement-breaks-could-congress-chop-next-11579257004
(FROM THE ARTICLE: • Require annual payouts from Roth IRAs. Current law requires annual withdrawals from traditional IRAs for savers who are age 72 and older, but it doesn’t require them for Roth IRA owners. Ed Slott, an IRA specialist and certified public accountant, says this proposal would take away one of the biggest draws of a Roth IRA, which is payout flexibility. He also worries that it could open the door to indirect taxes, in the same way that tax-free municipal-bond income is included when calculating Social Security taxes and Medicare premiums.)

— Illegal immigrants blocked at border pray for Trump’s defeat, ‘I want Trump out’ – Paul Bedard (DIERSEN: What do your critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes pray for? My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes pray for more dependency on government, more dependency on charity, more LGBTQ activity, more mass/illegal immigration, more booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, more gun control, more patronage, more political affiliation discrimination, more reverse discrimination, more age discrimination, and more retaliation for opposing the aforesaid. I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes. I would focus on those who have lots of religious, government, political, government, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois. I would focus on those who paint themselves as being religious, conservative, and/or Republican.)

I should write a book about CINO activists and RINO politicians in Illinois, DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton. They have certainly dumped me. CINOs and RINOs fail/refuse a) to defend/advance the traditional family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks in the Republican Party platform, that is, b) they promote LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, more gun control, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation for opposing the aforesaid. LAWYERS
— 3 Types Of Age Discrimination That Are Depressingly Common And How Employers Get Away With It – Michael Patrick Murphy, Jr.
https://blogs.lawyers.com/attorney/labor-and-employment/3-types-of-age-discrimination-that-are-depressingly-common-60235/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: According to the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and other state and federal laws, it’s illegal for employers to discriminate against employees or job applicants because of their age. However, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), approximately 60% of surveyed older workers claimed to have experienced or witnessed age discrimination in the workplace—and 90% of those respondents said it was a common occurrence. Even though age discrimination is illegal, employers have been taking increasingly creative measures to avoid complying with the law. Here are three different forms age discrimination can take. Refusing to Call It “Firing” Your employer probably won’t come out and tell you that they’re firing you because of your age. But employers do this all the time. One way they get away with it is by calling your firing a “job elimination.” They’re not actually firing you—just eliminating your job title. But a few weeks later, they’ve reinstated the job under a different title and filled the position with a younger worker. Layoffs can also serve as a tactic for employers to let older workers go. The law requires employers to release lists of employees who were both laid off and retained, along with their ages, to prove that the layoff decisions were not based on age. But employers may not list every worker—providing an incomplete picture of their layoff strategy. Or they may fire a few younger workers just to make the optics look better. Some employers might ask older workers to leave of their own free will, and sweeten the pot with offers for early retirement. These can be very tempting—but be careful, especially if the only alternative you have is to be fired. If that’s the case, you may be looking at age discrimination. Promotion-Based Discrimination When a highly qualified older worker is denied a promotion, which is then given to a younger worker with less experience—at a lower pay grade, naturally—it’s usually a fairly clear-cut case of age discrimination.)

Further, they hint/imply/argue/shout at everyone that a) those who are White, older, healthy, heterosexual, married, non-veteran, Protestant, German American, citizens of America, and those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time have an unfair advantage over those who are minority, younger, non-healthy, LGBTQ, not married, veteran, non-Protestant, non-German American, non-citizen, and those whose ancestors have not been in America for a long time. Further, they hint/imply/argue/shout at everyone that a) those who earn more education, more professional certifications, and more professional licenses have an unfair advantage over those who earn less education, fewer professional certifications, and fewer professional licenses and b) those who acquire more work experience have an unfair advantage over those who acquire less work experience. Further, they hint/imply/argue/shout at everyone that a) those who earn more money have an unfair advantage over those who earn less money and b) those who save for their retirement have an unfair advantage over those who do not save for their retirement.)

There’s a silent assumption that opponents of gay marriage are ignorant bigots. From what I see, ever-increasingly, the more of the following that you are, the less jury appeal that you have, that is, the more likely that you will lose in court: Trump supporter, Protestant, conservative, Republican, American, White, male, older, non-poor, gun owner, German American, draft avoider, past/present union member, past/present government employee, government retiree, non-dog owner, childless, and/or if your ancestors have been in America for a long time.)
https://civiljuryproject.law.nyu.edu/the-long-shadow-of-the-civil-jury/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Others more explicitly ascribed justice considerations to hypothetical lay decision-makers through references to the “jury appeal” of their cases. In some prosecutors’ formulations, jury appeal assessments were likened to asking, “If I were a juror, what would I think?”— or a practice of weighing whether a “hypothetical juror would feel the case should not be prosecuted even if it legally could be.” To this end, talk of jury appeal allowed sources of concern or ambivalence to be discussed from a position of detachment. In some instances jury appeal was cited in decisions to modify investigations or decline cases altogether.)

https://www.jdsupra.com/legalnews/recent-eeoc-enforcement-activity-58297/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Since the start of fiscal year 2020 (October 1, 2019-September 30, 2020), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has recovered more than $25 million in monetary relief and secured substantial equitable remedies from employers accused of engaging in unlawful race- and sex-based discrimination and harassment. In fiscal year 2018, the most recent period for which detailed enforcement data is available, the EEOC collected a total of $134 million on behalf of workplace harassment victims alone. While harassing conduct of a sexual nature is perhaps the most well-known form of workplace harassment, especially in light of the global #MeToo movement, it is far from the only kind that may expose an employer to significant risk of legal liability. According to the EEOC, more than 30% of the charges it receives each year include claims of unlawful harassment based on sex, race, disability, age, national origin, and religion (in that order).)

https://pjmedia.com/trending/lgbt-activists-slander-the-evangelicals-for-trump-coalition/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: On the third day of 2020, conservative Christian leaders met at a megachurch in Miami for an “Evangelicals for Trump” rally, launching a key part of the president’s re-election campaign. Shortly thereafter, LGBT activist groups and websites descended on the key figures of this coalition, attacking them as “hate group” leaders and “anti-LGBTQ extremists.” The LGBT magazine The Advocate dug up old statements and repeated the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) to smear the evangelicals involved, citing research compiled by the activist group GLAAD. “One of the best-known among them is Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center,” Trudy Ring wrote. The SPLC fired its co-founder last year after a racial discrimination and sexual harassment scandal that also revealed how former employees saw themselves as “part of the con,” exaggerating hate by padding the “hate group” list and “bilking northern liberals” to cut big checks. It has faced multiple defamation lawsuits and paid millions to settle them. As for FRC, a deranged shooter targeted the organization due to the SPLC’s “hate group” accusation, which is based on false and exaggerated claims.)

https://wtmj.com/national/2020/01/15/reporters-claim-new-rules-will-hinder-impeachment-coverage/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A preliminary security plan would greatly limit the movement of credentialed media members. Journalists would be restricted to a designated area and could only speak to senators who approached them. Under normal conditions, credentialed journalists can informally approach lawmakers in the hallways or on the way to the elevator or the Senate subway. “That’s the bread and butter of what we do here. That’s where you get that extra nugget of information,” Wire said in an interview with The Associated Press. Members of the press corps are also asking for a waiver of the traditional ban on laptops and cellphones, which would enable them to file breaking news updates from gallery seats inside the Senate chamber, but that request has apparently been rejected. The security plan would also place a magnetometer at the door of the gallery seats to scan journalists as they enter and prevent them from bringing in electronics.)

NARFE
— Tell Your Representative to Stop Shortchanging Retirees (DIERSEN: Ever-increasingly, the purchasing power of my Civil Service Retirement System pension and my Social Security diminishes because real inflation is far greater than COLAs.)
https://www.narfe.org/communications/index.cfm?fa=viewArticle&ID=4679

(FROM THE POSTING: Are you tired of the annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) not keeping pace with the increased costs you’re experiencing? Visit NARFE’s Legislative Action Center today to send a message to your Representative urging him or her to support the Fair COLA for Seniors Act, H.R. 1553. The bill would replace the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) with the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly (CPI-E) to ensure more accurate annual COLAs for seniors. Currently, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) uses the CPI-W index to measure COLAs, but it does not accurately reflect the purchasing patterns of seniors who spend larger portions of their budgets on medicine, health care, shelter and other goods and services specific to their needs. Switching to the CPI-E would better account for seniors’ spending habits, resulting in more accurate COLAs. The CPI-W shortchanges retired federal retirees, veterans and all seniors who depend on Social Security for much-needed retirement income. Millions of seniors living on fixed incomes rely on every dollar to see them through retirement, and the antiquated CPI-W cuts deeply into their earned retirement income and jeopardizes their long-term financial security)

How successful have the Trump-haters been in your neighborhood, in your precinct, in your municipality, in your township/ward, and in your county? I should write a book about the success that Trump-haters have had in my neighborhood, in my precinct, in Wheaton’s West District, in Wheaton, in Milton Township, and in DuPage County. (FROM THE ARTICLE: In the fall of 2017, a group of progressive city councilmembers across Texas decided to try a new strategy. Their Republican-controlled state legislature was a nightmare, preempting (and thereby repealing) every progressive ordinance that the cities enacted—but the legislature met only once every two years. What would happen if they worked together and collectively passed paid sick days while state politicians were out of session?. . .More recently, nearly 200 local elected officials from across the country signed a letter calling for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and applauded Representative Mark Pocan’s federal legislation to transfer ICE’s legitimate functions to other agencies. “Above all else, we are responsible for the safety of people in our communities,” the local officials wrote. “The presence of ICE in our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, places of worship, and homes, makes this impossible.”)

They blacklist me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails because I support all of the aforesaid planks. Most commonly, they promote dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, patronage, political affiliation, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation for opposing the aforesaid. (FROM THE ARTICLE: Members of the Navarro County Republican Executive Committee heard from candidates in contested races at a regular meeting Tuesday at the group’s headquarters in Corsicana. Candidates for Navarro County Sheriff, Pct. 3 Commissioner, Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 and Navarro County District Attorney introduced themselves to those in attendance. Sheriff Elmer Tanner received the endorsement of Texas Representative Cody Harris, “I’m honored to receive Harris’s support,” he said, “Cody understands and respects the job that we do.” “Sheriff Tanner worked closely with me during the 86th Legislative session, making sure I understood how legislation would affect the people of Navarro County.” The Palestine Republican said, “without question, Elmer Tanner is the right man for the job.” Tanner will face David Foreman in the March 3 primary. Those in attendance approved the appointments of four precinct chairs who filled for office but faced no primary challenge. Precinct Chairs are instrumental helping the Republican Party get out the vote. Republicans now have 23 of 30 Navarro County precincts filled. “It’s time to get out there and shake up our precincts,” said Bobby Vickery who was appointed to Pct. 404 “It’s extremely important that we contact every Republican and make sure they get out to vote,” said Navarro County Republican Chairman Eric Meyers. “Nearly 1,000 people move to Texas every day, we need to make sure Texas stays red.” Meyers also alerted party faithful about important upcoming dates in the “consequential 2020 election year.” The last day to register to vote in the Texas primary is Feb. 3. Anyone interested may now request a ballot by mail from the Navarro County Elections Administration Office. Any requests must be returned to the Elections Office by Feb. 21. Early voting for the primary election is from Feb. 18 to 28 at the Navarro County Annex building, 601 N. 13th Street in Corsicana. The Texas primary will be March 3. Navarro County residents will have several opportunities to hear from candidates in upcoming forums, and meet and greets. The Conservative Society of Navarro County, in conjunction with the Republican Women and the Republican Party of Navarro County, will host a federal candidate meet and greet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Republican Party Headquarters, 111 W. The Corsicana Opry/ Silver Saddle Saloon will host the Republican Party of Navarro County Candidate Forum at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11. The group is finalizing plans for its March 6, Navarro County Reagan Day Dinner. The group also voted to hold the Precinct Convention at the Navarro County Courthouse on Saturday, March 14. The County Convention will be held the following week on Saturday, March 21. Republican delegates from each of Texas’s 254 counties will meet in Houston at the state convention the week of May 11-16. The Texas state Republican convention is expected to be larger than the National Republican gathering. The national convention will be in Charlotte, North Carolina in August. FOX BUSINESS
— Are military members paid too much? – Brittany De Lea (DIERSEN: I should write a book about those who have hinted/implied/argued/shouted the loudest that the federal government overpaid me. They refuse to acknowledge that I earned a) a job-related bachelor’s degree in 1970, when I was 21, and job-related master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, b) job-related professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 47, and 48, and c) a job-related professional license when I was 32. They refuse to acknowledge that in 1979, when I was 30, I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt, and that in 1981, when I was 32, I passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt.)

INDEPENDENT JOURNAL REVIEW
— ‘I’m Spending All My Money to Get Rid of Trump’: Michael Bloomberg – Reuters (DIERSEN: I should write a book about those who have worked the hardest to get rid of the following: Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, Illinois Republican Party, TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee, Illinois Center Right Coalition, American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter, etc.)

ASSOCIATED PRESS
— Democratic 2020 candidates vie for union, Latino votes (DIERSEN: Do candidates vie for votes from those who share your demographics? Ever-increasingly, RINO candidates fail/refuse to vie for votes from those who are Trump supporters, Protestant, conservative, patriotic, Republican, American, White, male, older, non-poor, gun owners, German American, and/or those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time. Ever-increasingly, RINO candidates pander to those who are anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-patriotic, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time. I should write a book about RINO candidates.)

— AUGUST 12, 2019 FLASHBACK: What to Do When You Feel Uninspired at Work – Tim Herra (DIERSEN: My Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government did everything that they could to make me feel uninspired. They were furious when I earned a) a job-related bachelor’s degree when I was 21 in 1970 and job-related master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, b) job-related professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 47, and 48, and c) a job-related professional license when I was 32.)

— OCTOBER 17, 2019 FLASHBACK: You’re Only as Old as You Feel – Emily Laber-Warren (DIERSEN: My Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government did everything that they could to make me feel old. They stressed that I did not make GS-13 (currently $101,176) by age 25, GS-14 (currently $119,559) by age 30, GS-15 (currently $140,634) by age 35, and Senior Executive Service (currently $170,800) by age 40.)

FORBES
— Retirement And The Laws To Help Older Workers – William Baldwin (DIERSEN: All my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes promote age discrimination. The older that you are, the harder that they work against you, and especially if you are a Trump supporter, Protestant, conservative, patriotic, Republican, American, White, male, non-poor, gun owner, German American, draft avoider, and/or if your ancestors have been in America for a long time. I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes. I would focus on past and present leaders of the Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Illinois Republican Party. I would focus on those who have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Glen Ellyn, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois.)

STEPHENVILLE EMPIRE TRIBUNE
— Local Republicans gear up for two candidate forums – Sara Vanden Berge (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents oppose a) anyone who they cannot manipulate/dominate, b) conservative organizations, and c) candidate forums. If I was still the chairman of TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois, the organization would be hosting candidate forums for candidates in contested races. TAPROOT would be holding candidate forums for the U.S. Senate, 6th Congressional District, DuPage Recorder, DuPage Auditor, and the DuPage judicial race.)
