— Democrats Know The Real Purpose Of The Second Amendment — That’s Why They’re So Afraid Of It – MICHELE GAMA SOSA
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The Second Amendment is once again in the Democrats’ crosshairs amid mass shootings, with Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s latest “assault weapons” ban, and now Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin claiming that the Founding Fathers would have supported banning certain guns. Democrats have made a lot of noise about banning “military-style” weapons and “weapons of war,” particularly the AR-15 platform – their favorite punching bag – in the name of stopping shootings mostly committed in the ghettos of Democrat-run cities such as Los Angeles, New Orleans, Detroit and most famously Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago. Obviously, this is a false proposition. Criminals don’t register guns or obey the law – they’re criminals. Armed civilians deter crime, whether with “military-style” weapons or a Taurus G3C Subcompact. Gun advocates have made this argument repeatedly. Unfortunately, it falls short and even helps justify bans like the Illinois one. If a subcompact with a five-round magazine is enough for self-defense, then it shouldn’t be a problem if Chicago, for instance, bans anything over 10 rounds, full autos and certain long guns. Because as Democrats argue, you don’t need an M4 to shoot a criminal or hunt. But history says there’s more to the Second Amendment. When the Founders wrote the Second Amendment, it was a shock to the world of monarchs and tyrants who kept their populations in line by force and decree. Its protections make America unique. Virtually no country has anything close to it. It gave meaning to the idea of being a citizen of a nation instead of the subject of a despot.)

Ever-increasingly, Democrats hint/imply/argue/shout that if you are a Republican, the more of the following that you are, the more reparations that you should pay: conservative, heterosexual, conservative, White, male, older, non-poor. Christian, Protestant, Italian American, German American, and/or if your ancestors have been in American for a long time.)

— COMMENT: Those who want to abolish the Second Amendment ask “CAN ILLINOIS’ ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN SURVIVE SCORES OF ROGUE COUNTY SHERIFFS?” How successful have Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, Independents, and RINOs been in demonizing, denigrating, and condemning the Second Amendment plank in the Republican Party platform in your county and in your township? I should write a book about the success that they have had in DuPage County and in Milton Township. The leaders of the DuPage County Republican Central Committee and leaders of the nine DuPage County Republican township party organizations fail/refuse to defend the Second Amendment plank in the Republican Party platform.

— To Make Lasting Progress on DEI, Measure Outcomes – Lily Zheng (COMMENT: While I worked for the federal government for almost 30 years, my Democrat superiors’ top priority was a) retaining and promoting their Democrat employees who were minority, female, and/or younger and b) getting rid of their Republican employees who were White, male, and/or older.
— What Do You Like About Your Job? – Art Markman (COMMENT: I worked for GAO 1980-1997. For the last 8 years, I worked on audits of federal financial industry regulators. GAO’s mission is to provide Congress with fact-based, nonpartisan information that can help improve federal government performance and ensure accountability for the benefit of the American people. That mission helped fight tremendous efforts by my Democrat GAO superiors to waste my GAO career and to get rid of me. That mission motivated me a) to complete the requirements for a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980, b) to pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, c) to become a licensed CPA in 1981, d) to become a Certified Fraud Examiner in 1990, e) to become a Certified Government Financial Manager in 1994, f) to become a Certified Financial Services Auditor in 1996, g) to become a Forensic Accountant in 1997, and h) to complete the requirements for a master’s degree in financial markets and trading from IIT in 1997. My Democrat GAO superiors threw all of the aforesaid away when they forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 so that they could give my Black subordinate my job and my preferred corner office.

— Aggression (COMMENT: What factors have discouraged you from being aggressive? My parents, my grandparents, and the rest of my ancestors were not aggressive. None of them engaged in any kind of aggressive sports like football. My father fought type 1 diabetes from childhood. Neither of my parents attended college. My father was the first of my ancestors to earn a high school diploma. He worked in the office of a nasty chemical plant and almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. My mother never attended high school. My mother stayed home and raised me and my brother. My parents had me baptized as a Missouri Synod Lutheran (MSL), raised me as a MSL, and had me confirmed as a MSL. My parents sent me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest to stay with the Missouri Synod. Ever since I developed a bone disease in grade school, I have not been able to run. I washed dishes during my junior and senior years in high school and the summer in between. I have never been in the military. Because of my lack of aggression, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have felt free to take adverse actions against me and they have taken many major adverse actions against me. In my defense, I have filed lawsuits.)
