I worked for Democrats for almost 30 years. The Democrats who ran the Post Office in 1966, IRS in 1971, and GAO in 1980 hired me because they could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, younger person, or veteran who would take the job. They gambled that I would become a Democrat and lost. What Republican employees do you know who have complained about political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and/or age discrimination? I ever-increasing complained about the aforesaid after my Democrat IRS superiors a) disallowed my travel vouchers in 1974, b) got rid of the IRS manager who had promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974, and disallowed my education deductions in 1978. I complained even more after my Democrat GAO superiors forced the GAO manager to retire in 1987 who had arranged for my transfer from IRS in 1980 and had been finally able to assign me to audits of IRS and to promote me in 1986. I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged my GAO superiors with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation in 1988. My attorney Walter T. Charlton filed Diersen v. GAO in 1998.
