Since 1999, the leaders of the Milton Township Republican Organization have stressed to me as a Republican Precinct Committeeman like me that we can support whichever candidates we want in Republican primary elections, but that we must support in general elections those candidates who win Republican primary elections. I have always supported those candidates who have won Republican primary elections. Trump won the Republican presidential primary in 2016, 2020, and again this year. What makes a voter a Republican? In Illinois, it is simply casting a Republican ballot. But ever-increasingly, I encounter voters, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, etc. who say that they are Republican, but who are filled with hatred not only against Trump, but against all those who do not share their hatred against Trump and they hint/imply/argue/shout that they are not only not going to vote for Trump, but that they are going to vote for Harris and for all the other Democrat candidates on the ballot to punish those like me who do not share their hatred against Trump. MTRO got a RRV in my precinct to run against me for RPC in 2000. MTRO rudely ended my service as MTRO webmaster in 2004 and 2010. MTRO rudely refused to make me a delegate to the 2004 IRP State Convention. MTRO rudely ended my bid to serve as MTRO Treasurer in 2004. They rudely had me removed as the Republican fundraiser for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks in 2021, a role that I had since 2005. They rudely killed my bid to be appointed to fill a Wheaton City Council West District vacancy in 2019. They rudely gerrymandered my precinct in 2015. They rudely had me removed as the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman in 2012. They rudely had me removed as a Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee member in 2011. They rudely had me removed me as MTRO webmaster in 2010 and 2004. They rudely had me removed as an Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee member in 2007. They almost rudely succeeded in getting ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in 2006. They rudely killed my bid to serve as MTRO Treasurer in 2004.
