Nevertheless, a) I started taking graduate evening business courses at Loyola in 1972 and earned an MBA from Loyola in 1976 and b) I started taking graduate evening accounting courses at DePaul in 1976 and earned a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980. I deducted the tuition and books. In 1978, to get rid of me, my Democrat IRS superiors disallowed my deductions. I should write about that. They outrageously, disgustingly, and unethically argued a) that the courses did not relate to my job duties, b) that the courses did not maintain or improve my job skills, c) that I took the courses to get a job in the private sector, and d) that I took the courses to qualify myself for a new trade or business. While I was a postal employee 1966-1969, it was my need for money to pay for my UIC and NIU expenses and to buy new cars (1968 Oldsmobile 442 and 1969 Dodge Charger SE) to get to/from classes and work. While I was a Firestone Store employee 1970-1972, it included my need for money to help support my mother and brother. While I was an IRS employee 1971-1980, it included my wanting money to pay for my Loyola and DePaul education expenses, to buy new cars (1972 Corvette, 1974 Dodge Dart, 1978 Chevy Chevette, and 1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale), and to buy a new town home in 1972, a studio condo in 1974, a one bedroom condo in 1976, and a home in Wheaton in 1978.
