(FROM THE ARTICLE: The social media giant dominates the market for smart glasses, which allow people to capture photos and videos, listen to music, take phone calls and ask questions to an artificial intelligence assistant. Some people are using the glasses — which look like a pair of regular spectacles — to record people without their knowledge and publish the videos on social media. The users secretly videotape and share what happens when they try to pick up women. Now, a growing number of people are worried they could be covertly recorded at the gym or even during sex. The backlash has prompted Meta to update its glasses to address privacy concerns, and some places have banned them, adding to the angst surrounding technology that’s rapidly evolving. It’s too early to tell whether the criticism will dent sales of smart glasses, said Jitesh Ubrani, a director at the market research company IDC.)

DD: I met my outstanding wife at a Presbyterian singles event. She is Catholic and I am Missouri Synod Lutheran. What helped you become marriage material? By the time I got married when I was 29 in 1978, I had worked for IRS for almost 7 years and my salary was $110,066/year in today’s dollars. I had earned an MBA from Loyola in 1976 and I was taking graduate evening accounting courses at DePaul. I lived in a one bedroom condo in the Outer Drive East building that I had bought in 1976. I was renting out a town home in University Park that I had bought new in 1972. I owned a 1972 Corvette that I had bought new in 1971. See Money Magazine’s 4-page February 1978 article on my wife and I at https://gopillinois.com/documents/ Things that impressed me about my outstanding wife included that her first job after high school was working for the FBI. She soon became the Corporate Secretary of the U.S. League of Savings Institutions. She did much to help elect Big Jim Thompson governor in 1976. In today’s dollars, my IRS Revenue Officer salary had just increased from $56,409/year to $68,999/year. The down payment came from what I had earned working for IRS for 15 months and for a Firestone Store part-time for 18 months and full-time for 7 months before that. According to Zillow, the townhome is currently worth $93,200. That says worlds about real estate values in University Park.

— Brandon Johnson’s City Hall can’t find anyone willing to collect debt on the city’s behalf. Shocking, but hardly surprising. DD: Just kidding, but should form a company to collect those debts? https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/08/09/editorial-brandon-johnson-debt-collection-budget-banks-aldermen/
(FROM THE EDITORIAL: Mayor Brandon Johnson’s administration has informed aldermen that a proposed sale of outstanding debts owed to the city of Chicago, which was supposed to net $90 million in this year’s budget, is garnering no interest from banks or other financial services firms. The apparent failure of the debt sale looks like it will blow a hole in the current year’s budget that will need to be addressed, although the size of that shortfall is yet to be determined. We certainly agree with members of the council majority who included the debt sale among other revenue-raising measures that the mayor and his administration gave their idea no real chance of succeeding. From the start, Johnson castigated the plan to sell some of the $8 billion owed to the city in unpaid ambulance charges, water bills, red-light and speeding camera tickets and other obligations as “immoral” and “morally bankrupt.” This page rejected his argument, saying among other things that it’s unfair to the people who pay their debts to give a tacit pass to those who just don’t. Johnson allowed the budget containing the proposed debt law to become law without his signature.)

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/08/wealth-taxes-don-t-work/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Inciting envy is the modus operandi of all socialists. It is their means of fomenting division and attracting voters, but it is a particularly ugly way of doing so because it demeans the very people they would lead and creates the potential for violence. One reason envy is so destructive is that it saps the initiative of those who might otherwise be striving to improve their own situation. Instead of worrying about how much money Ken Griffin has (reportedly some $50 billion), why not begin by starting wherever you are qualified and working your way up? This has always been the American way, but socialists undermine this healthy instinct and replace it with the promise of equality of outcomes, which is their means of gaining power. Anyone who has studied the history of socialism knows that it does not produce equality.

Democrats win because they falsely hint/imply/argue/shout that if you do not get promotions, it is because of Republicans. All my coworkers who my Democrat Post Office, IRS, and GAO superiors promoted over me did little or nothing to get promoted. They got promoted because they were Democrats, minorities, females, and/or veterans. To get promoted, I earned a job-related bachelor’s degree (management), three job-related master’s degrees (business, accounting, and finance), six job-related professional certifications (accounting, internal auditing, fraud examination, government financial management, financial services auditing, and forensic accounting), and a job-related professional license (CPA). All my coworkers who my Democrat superiors promoted over me were Democrats who a) had less education than I had, b) had less work experience than I had, c) had no professional certification or fewer than I had, and/or d) had no professional license like the one I had. Asian immigrants, drawn by the discovery of gold in California in 1848, were recruited to work on farms and railroads. Later in the 19th century, pogroms across Eastern Europe and the aftermath of Italian reunification drove a surge of migration to the United States. From 1880 to 1920, 24 million immigrants arrived. They went almost everywhere except the South, where the land-owning elite already had cheap labor from the formerly enslaved and poor tenant farmers. Cities swelled. (FROM THE ARTICLE: Vance stated that “A lot of Americans look at this rising tide of socialism and say, ‘How did we get here?’ We got here by 40 years of bipartisan leaders selling our industrial base to foreign countries, allowing low-wage immigrants to come in and compete with Americans for jobs, by destroying the foundation of the middle class. That’s how you got socialism.” He continued: “How you fix that problem is by doubling down on Donald Trump’s economic nationalism, not going back to the way we’ve done things for the past 40 years. It’s failed everywhere it’s tried, and it always leads to socialism. It always leads exactly where we are. The only way to get out of it is to double down on the economics of the past 18 months.” Vance also described Democratic candidates he called “limousine socialists” as offering redistribution rather than industry or good jobs, saying manufacturing remains the foundation of middle-class prosperity.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: “In our movement there are people who have been nibbling away at the very principles that have made America strong and prosperous and free and have defined a conservative agenda,” said former Vice President Mike Pence, CCU’s newest 2026 faculty member, who refused President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. “In fact, in many respects in recent years we’ve seen our movement toss about at a tempest of populism, protectionism, and on occasion even isolationism. On the world stage, we saw the administration’s initial stops and starts when it comes to Ukraine after that brutal and unprovoked invasion by Russia four years ago. I have held since that moment that America, as the leader of the free world, should continue to marshal the West to give the brave Ukrainian people what they need to repel and defeat that Russian invasion. “At home, we’ve seen the rise of protectionist policies,” continued Pence. “The so-called ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs of a year ago represented the largest tax increase in American history, imposed on friend and foe alike. They impacted families, literally at the grocery store and at the counter. We’ve also witnessed populist policies that have taken on the free market tradition of our movement, nationalizing American businesses. The headlines this morning are that a dozen more businesses have received direct equity investments by the federal government. And we’ve seen price controls on everything from consumer credit to medicines. And perhaps most troubling to traditional conservatives like me is there’s been a marked departure, a marginalizing of our commitment to the sanctity of human life.”)

I earned a job-related bachelor’s degree when I was 21 in 1970; job-related master’s degrees in 1976, 1980, and 1997; job-related professional certifications in 1979, 1981, 1990, 1994, 1996, and 1997; and a job-related professional license in 1981.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: August marks back-to-school season. It’s a season filled with anticipation for new coursework and academic progress, but also a time for students and families to reflect on the career pathways that education can help make possible. It’s understandable that many young people are questioning the value of higher education. National student loan debt now exceeds $1.87 trillion, with borrowers in South Carolina carrying an average balance of about $34,000 per learner, slightly below the national average of roughly $37,000 to $39,000. Meanwhile, unemployment among South Carolinians ages 16 to 24 is approximately 9.2 percent, twice the state’s overall unemployment rate of 4.6 percent. While concerns about the value of college are very real, the data indicate that post-secondary education still provides the best pathways to increased lifetime income. In South Carolina, community college graduates will earn $220,000 to $335,000 more over their lifetime than those with just a high school diploma. Four-year graduates (including transfer students) will earn nearly $800,000 more over their lifetime. However, the biggest barriers to obtaining a college degree are cost, time to completion, accessibility and flexibility to accommodate competing life priorities. Certificates, associate degrees and bachelor’s degrees. Post-secondary education provides multiple pathways to economic success through professional certificates, associate degrees, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The key is to choose the pathways that offer the best job security and ROI. Professional certificates are the fastest and least expensive way to earn a credential that validates a desired skillset. Certificates can serve as a stackable on-ramp toward a degree, provide timely skills, or help you qualify for upward mobility.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: With nearly 24% of Illinois residents speaking a language other than English, with Spanish being the most common, Gov. The Language Equity and Access Act requires the Governor’s Office of New Americans to partner with the Illinois Department of Human Services to create, implement, and oversee statewide language access plans for state agencies. The act requires an annual compliance report to the Governor’s Office and the Illinois General Assembly. — Some federal careers are built to end early, so what comes next? DD: Federal employees under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) who are the following are expected/forced to retire as soon as they are eligible, that is, as soon as they have 30 years of service and are 55 years old: Republican, White, male, non-veteran, Protestant, German American, and/or have ancestors who have been in America for a long time. I am all of the aforesaid. I became eligible to take GAO’s early retirement “offer” when I was 45 in 1993. My Democrat GAO superiors succeeded in forcing me to take early retirement when I was 49 in 1997 because since I was 40 in 1988, I had been an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged them with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. That dramatically reduced my CSRS pension and my retirement savings.

I should write about my Democrat veteran superiors who took the most/biggest adverse actions against me. They all stressed that if I had not avoided the Vietnam War draft, I would not have been able to a) earn a bachelor’s degree when I was 21 in 1970 and master’s degrees when I was 27 and 31, b) earn professional certifications when I was 30 and 32, c) earn a professional license when I was 32, d) buy new cars when I was 19, 20, 23 25, and 29, e) buy real estate when I was 24, 25, 27, 29, and 35, or f) get married when I was 29.

I transferred from IRS to GAO when I was 31 in 1980 and worked for GAO for almost 18 years. My Democrat GAO superiors wasted my knowledge of IRS. Democrats do not want Republicans to audit Democrats. — Career limiting decisions. DD: What were the biggest decisions that you made that limited your career? I spent far too many hours working to earn money to buy new cars instead of studying. I avoided the Vietnam War draft with draft deferments. I majored in management instead of accounting. I did not start taking graduate accounting courses until I was 27. I did not take and pass the CPA examination on my first attempt until I was 30. I did not earn a master’s degree in accounting until I was 31. I did not take and pass on my first attempt the Certified Internal Auditor examination until I was 32. I did not become a licensed CPA until I was 32. When I became federal employee when I was 18, I refused to become a Democrat and I never became a Democrat. I ever-increasingly complained about my Democrat superiors’ political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination. I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged them with the aforesaid discrimination when I was 40.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Over many years of writing pieces critical of politicians, my Republican targets mostly took the beatings like men, many going so far as to acknowledge—if only in confidence—that they probably deserved it. Not so Vice President JD Vance, and his dreary band of online enforcers. This egotism—or rather, insecurity—is worth analyzing. This column reported last week on the bitterness Mr. Vance’s congressional colleagues are feeling over his continual absence. In recent administrations, governing majorities have come to rely on the vice president—who is ex officio Senate president—to act as primary liaison between the White House and Congress. Mr. Vance has blown off this important if unsung duty, preferring to stay in the spotlight. Tempers hit a boil last week when—at a pivotal legislative moment—Mr. Vance canceled a planned Tuesday House meeting in favor of appearing on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” where he bashed Congress. Republicans have mostly held their tongues on Mr. Vance out of deference. But the vice president has shown a lot of lefty leg lately: undermining Israel, panning free markets, touting a Christian-themed big-government agenda. That’s in addition to what many Republicans view as Mr. Vance’s naive approach to Iran. That elected Republicans were joining conservative commentators in a Vance rethink was worthy of reporting. And most readers would have seen the column for what it was: part of a growing GOP debate over who should lead the party in 2028. Team Vance saw it as it sees any slight: an all-hands call to delegitimize a critic—to brand her a RINO, “establishment,” a liar, a captive tool, or part of some anti-JD “op.” The Vance press team contacted my editors to demand corrections. They wanted a mea culpa for what I didn’t write—namely that Mr. Vance had showed up to the House . . . on Wednesday. Never mind that Congress’s anger stemmed from Mr. Vance’s decision to ditch them for Mr. Rogan’s program. They claimed that wasn’t “the reason” for canceling, though they didn’t provide an alternative explanation. What else was Mr. Vance doing in Austin, Texas? Their final complaint was a hair-splitting gotcha: I wrote that “lawmakers can count on a few fingers the times former Sen. Vance has set foot in the Capitol.” That’s what lawmakers told me. Mr. Vance’s spokesman insisted the vice president had been there more than two dozen times since taking office. The phrase obviously referred to the infrequency with which Mr. Vance huddled with members of Congress to solve problems and wasn’t a literal count of the number of times he was physically present to attend a speech or break a tie. Mr. Vance’s real bully-boy strength shows up with his online army, where a retinue of “influencers” and “journalists” stand ready with an arsenal of labels, whataboutisms and falsehoods. The tactics aren’t new. They are straight-up Saul Alinsky—pick the target, freeze it, personalize and polarize it—long practiced by the left. I wrote a whole book about that, “The Intimidation Game.” What is new is for the right to use such means in an effort to shut down conservative dissent.)

I had taken and passed the Federal Service Entrance Examination while I was a NIU student. Potential employers saw me as being draft bait. I focused on my job duties and I earned a job-related bachelor’s degree, three job-related master’s degrees, six job-related professional certifications, and a job-related professional license. — DINKs. DD: My Democrat GAO superiors 1980-1997 a) decried the time and money that they spent raising their children and b) decried the little or no income that their spouses had. They used against me big time a) my wife and I giving up trying to have children without trying IVF, our not adopting, and our not becoming foster parents and b) my wife’s good job. According to them, were it not for the aforesaid, we would not have been able to buy two new cars and a home in Wheaton in when we got married in 1978 and I would not have been able a) to pass the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, b) to take a $23,699/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980, c) to earn a master’s degree in accounting in 1980, d) to pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, e) to become a licensed CPA in 1981, or f) to have a home built in Wheaton in 1984. — India’s Caste system persists across the globe. DD: What Caste were you born into? Neither of my parents attended college. My father was only the first of my ancestors to earn a high school diploma. He never earned more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars. He almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. He died suddenly when he was 47 and I was 21, My mother never attended high school. All my grandparent spoke German. I had to work my way through college. Nevertheless, my critics/opponents have always outrageously, disgustingly, falsely, and unethically painted my parents as having been filthy rich. They have always known full-well that I did yard work 1962-1964, delivered newspapers 1962-1966, washed dishes 1964-1966, cleaned golf shoes, chipped slag, and pumped gasoline in 1966, delivered mail 1966-1969, worked on an automotive assemble line in 1970, sold tires, automotive services, and major appliances 1970-1971, pumped more gasoline 1971-1972, collected delinquent taxes 1971-1980, and audited federal agencies 1980-1997. I should write about my critics/opponents. I would focus on those whose parents were wealthy.

CHICAGO MAROON
— Post-graduate success overstated. DD: What was your post-graduate success? When I earned a bachelor’s degree in management from NIU when I was 21 in 1970, I had to have a job. Potential employers saw me as being draft bait. I had applied for a financial hardship draft deferment to help support my mother and brother, but potential employers did not believe it would be granted. So I accepted the only job offer that I got. It was being the Retail Sales Manager for the Firestone Store in Chicago Heights. But the job did not really require a college degree. To “learn the business,” I was required to dismount, mount, and balance many tires, pump lots of gasoline, change lots of engine oil and filters, change batteries, deliver major appliances to homes, etc. My Chicago Heights store boss would never had hired me, but his boss had assigned me to him. He did not have a college degree. He refused to let me start until after I passed a 2-week probationary period in the Firestone Store in Gary, Indiana. He disapproved of my avoiding the Vietnam War draft. He disapproved of my being Protestant, my being German American, my having ancestors who had been in America since 1844, and my living in Crete. Under him, I saw that my Firestone career was bleak if not nonexistent. Consequently, I accepted a job offer from Oldsmobile. But Oldsmobile withdrew that offer saying it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. He rudely if not violently fired me because I had accepted that offer. I had to have a job. So I accepted the only job offer that I got. It was to be an IRS Revenue Officer. Then, oddly, puzzlingly, he then offered me a job working part-time pumping gasoline which I accepted until he “asked” me to resign at the end of 1972. The money I earned helped me a) buy a new Corvette in 1971, b) pay for four graduate evening business courses at Loyola in 1972, and c) buy a new townhome in University Park in 1972.

— House probes IRS failure to nab tax dodgers in federal workforce; more than $6 billion owed. DD: Democrats do not want Republicans to audit Democrats. I have always been a Republican. Virtually all federal employees are Democrats. GAO works for Congress. GAO audits IRS. I worked for IRS’s Collection Division for almost 9 years 1971-1980, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 Levels, currently $100,059-$113,402/year and the last 3 years of which for IRS’s Special Procedures Staff. I transferred to GAO in 1980 after I had earned an MBA in 1976 and passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979. To transfer, my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to take a $23,699/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars, a downgrade from GS-12 Step 5 to GS-9 Step 10, currently $89,702/year. They succeeded in keeping me off audits of IRS’s Collection Division for my entire almost 18-year GAO career. I was assigned to audits of IRS’s Criminal Investigation Division for 3 years 1986-1988 only because the GAO Manager who had arranged my transfer got back into power. But they forced him to retire in 1987. The Democrats who ran GAO in 1980 should have offered me a promotion to GS-13 to transfer. They should have always assigned me to audits of IRS’s Collection Division. But, of course, not to audits of my IRS superiors who had taken big adverse actions against me. Democrats do not want Republicans to audit Democrats.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Over 571,000 federal employees owe $6.3 billion in taxes. The delinquency rate among federal workers is increasing despite IRS warnings. The House Oversight Committee is questioning IRS enforcement efforts. The IRS can garnish wages and pensions for unpaid taxes. More than 571,000 current and retired federal employees owe $6.3 billion in taxes, a delinquency rate that has been increasing steadily despite threatening letters from the IRS. The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee wants to know why the IRS and other federal agencies haven’t cracked down harder on tax scofflaws within their ranks or moved to seize their wages and pensions through an existing enforcement program. In a letter sent Thursday to IRS Chief Executive Officer Frank J. Bisignano, the GOP-led panel asked the agency to turn over data showing the IRS’s efforts to recover unpaid taxes, whether they’ve used wage and pension garnishment, and if they were successful at bringing any of the money into the Treasury. A recent report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) paints a bleak picture of enforcement when it comes to federal workers. It found the number of federal employees delinquent on their taxes had increased by a staggering 43% since 2021 and that 215,000 U.S. government workers — 6.9% of the total workforce — were delinquent on their federal taxes in 2024 alone. The report also found 50,000 federal employees and retirees failed to file any tax returns at all, among them 14,000 repeat non-filers who earned federal salaries of $100,000 or more. At least 122 federal workers did not file a tax return for eight or more years, the inspector general found. A third of all non-filers were U.S. Postal Service workers. Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, Kentucky Republican, plans to crack down on the federal government’s apparent lack of enforcement. “With TIGTA’s report showing continuous increases in tax noncompliance among current and former federal employees, the Committee is concerned that this trend will continue unless IRS, the Executive Branch and Congress act now to proactively curb noncompliance with federal tax laws,” he wrote to Mr. Bisignano. Failure to file a tax return is a federal crime, but the IRS’s efforts to enforce the law among federal workers have largely failed. Last summer, the IRS mailed 427,000 delinquency notification letters to federal employees and retirees that, according to Mr. Comer, encouraged the scofflaws to voluntarily resolve their outstanding tax bills. Within a month of the notifications, only 59,000 people who received the letters made a payment, and just 4,700 paid all of the taxes they owed. In total, the IRS recovered only $58 million in delinquent tax payments from the federal workforce, which is less than 1% of the total owed by all federal workers and retirees. “This data demonstrates that the majority of noncompliant federal employees ignored the IRS letters and failed to resolve their tax liabilities in a timely manner or at all,” Mr. Comer wrote. The federal government has additional enforcement avenues for these scofflaws beyond sending friendly letters encouraging compliance. The Federal Payment Levy Program authorizes the IRS to garnish up to 15% of federal employee salaries and retiree pensions to recover unpaid taxes. Mr. Comer asked the IRS to turn over the number of non-filers referred to the Federal Payment Levy Program and the amount of tax money recovered, the number of wage garnishment requests for unpaid taxes made to the Bureau of Fiscal Service, the number of employees and pensioners “who had federal payments or salaries levied” and the amount of money recovered. Mr. Comer asked the IRS to turn over the data by July 9 and to agree to a staff-level briefing on IRS enforcement of federal workers’ tax compliance. Under the law, the Treasury Department can hold its own employees accountable for tax delinquencies. The audit said that was probably a factor in the department having a relatively low delinquency rate of just 2.4%. The law, however, prohibits the IRS from sharing tax information outside the Treasury, so other departments struggle to crack down on workers who duck paying their federal taxes. The loophole leads to weak enforcement, Mr. Comer said. “It seems unlikely that employees who are already failing to pay or to file taxes for years in violation of federal laws would voluntarily identify themselves to their employing agencies,” Mr. Comer said.)

My critics/opponents cannot say that because they had wealthy parents. I did yard work in 1962, 1963, and 1964. I delivered newspapers 1962-1966. I washed dishes 1964-1966. I cleaned golf shoes, chipped slag, and pumped gasoline in 1966. I delivered mail 1966-1969. According to my critics/opponents, the aforesaid jobs prove that I have always been an unmitigated loser.

— DD: Hate-filled Trump-hating ex-federal prosecutors attack Boutros. They charge him with letting political considerations infect his prosecutorial decisions. The Republicans who ran DOJ under Bush sided with my Democrat GAO superiors in Diersen v. GAO. SEE: https://gopillinois.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/DiersenGAOFifthAmendedComplaint.pdf To side with my Democrat GAO superiors is to promote the Democrat Party platform. That is, to promote race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination in the federal government.

— Illinois State Rep. Bill Hauter, a Republican physician and graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, sharply criticized reports that the school is promoting “equitable assessments” in medical education. DD: Democrats run the federal government. They use the subjectivity in their performance management systems to get rid of their Republican employees who are conservative, White, male, older, non-veteran, Protestant, German American, and/or have ancestors who have been in America for a long time. While I worked for the Democrats who ran the federal government for almost 30 years, my attention was drawn to the aforesaid because my undergraduate degree was in personnel management and my MBA area of concentration was personnel management.

WASHINGTON TIMES
— Platner’s bid tests how much personal baggage Maine voters will tolerate. DD: Far too often, far too many candidates have run for offices as Republicans, but they should not have because they have far too much baggage. Voters hold Republican candidates to far higher standards than they hold Democrat candidates. I should write about the many big adverse actions that Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct and their major donors, fundraisers, political consultants, pollsters, campaign managers, campaign staff, and campaign volunteers have taken against me since 2000 because I included links to articles in my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters that they did not like because they reported their candidates’ wrong doing.

— Trump calls on Thune to fire Senate parliamentarian. DD: My critics/opponents do not publicly call for adverse actions to be taken against me. Instead, they have their operatives and their dupes take adverse actions against me for them. They had their operatives and their dupes a) end my membership on the Illinois Republican Party State Convention Platform and Resolutions Committee in 2024, b) end my role as the Republican fundraiser for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks in 2021, c) gerrymander my precinct in 2015, d) end my chairmanship of TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman in 2012, e) end my service as the Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) webmaster in 2010 and 2004, f) end my membership on the Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee in 2007, g) almost get ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in 2006, and h) defeat my bid for the open as a MTRO Treasurer position in 2004. I should write about my critics/opponents. I would focus on those who still have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and/or Illinois.
