(FROM THE ARTICLE: A video of an Islamic march featuring thousands of black and hijab-clad Muslims chanting “Allah” and a bunch of gibberish through the streets of Dearborn, Michigan that looks like it could have been filmed in any random Middle Eastern Muslim country went viral and drew outrage on X last week. The account that posted it included a call for Tom Homan’s ICE to deal with the problem by going in and deporting illegals. It’s a justifiable sentiment, but good luck with that. Shockingly, almost 60,000 of the approximately 105,000 residents of Dearborn are of Middle Eastern or North African ancestry. Almost all of those are Arab American Muslims. The problem for the poster, and for anyone else who thinks deporting illegals is the solution to what ails us, is that almost all of them are lawful citizens of the United States, a product of Arab immigration that began almost 100 ago and intensified by waves of refugee resettlements from decades of Middle Eastern conflicts caused in no small part, ironically, by American intervention overseas. Given the numbers, it should be no surprise to find the city run by Muslims. As conservative commentator Matt Walsh pointed out in another viral post: “The mayor of Dearborn, Michigan is Abdullah Hammoud. The guy running against him in the mayoral race is Nagi Almudhegi. The mayor’s chief of staff is Zaineb A. Hussein. The police chief is Issa Shahin. He oversees the commander of the patrol division, Madou Bazzi. The public health director is Ali Abazeed. Don’t forget city council members Kamal Alsawafy and Mustapha Hammoud.” If you are one of the tens of thousands of non-Muslim residents left in the city, you will still be greeted at 6 am in the morning and four other times throughout the day by the Muslim call to prayer broadcast on loudspeaker. For now at least you can complain, like this lady did, but the Muslim-run city council will tell you to pound sand. If you don’t like that a street was renamed after a Hezbollah terrorist, you will not only be told to pound sand, you will be called an Islamaphobe and told you aren’t welcome in the city you grew up in. Yes, technically the rulers of Dearborn are ‘American.’ They and most of their co-religionist voters have the citizenship and naturalization papers saying so, and thus are just as much a citizen of this country as you or me. But is this what the founders envisioned for the country they birthed through blood almost 250 years ago? If Thomas Jefferson could have looked into the future and seen Arabic flags and Islamic chants and hijab-clad women marching through an American street, would he have set things up differently? Trying to normalize a situation ordinary people rightly are disgusted by, ‘Republican’ pollster Frank Luntz embarrassingly quoted part of a letter penned by George Washington as proof that the founders wanted Muslims to, according to Luntz, “find welcome in America.” “If they are good workmen, they may be of Asia, Africa, or Europe,” Washington wrote. “They may be Mohammedans, Jews, or Christians of any sect, or they may be Atheists.” Luntz’s contention was easily ripped to shreds by anyone who bothered to post the entire letter, which was simply correspondence from Washington to a friend in Baltimore asking him to facilitate the purchase of some skilled labor that was purportedly on a ship headed there. Indeed, the idea that our founders – the ones who in 1790 when immigration policy was first discussed limited naturalization to only “free white persons” of “good moral character” who had lived in America for at least two years – would applaud the streets of Dearborn being overrun with chanting Muslims carrying Arabic flags is laughable on its face. On the contrary, if the dead could move they would be turning over in their graves. Still, the founders did recognize the need for immigration, and since 1790 there has been plenty of it. Interestingly, the massive waves from Europe that happened in the 1840s and the 1880s-1920s were opposed by nativists who argued that the Irish, the Germans, the Poles, and the Italians were going to ruin the country. In hindsight, it wasn’t really much of a concern though, because those people had enough in common with the original Anglo-Saxon stock to completely assimilate in a generation or two at most, which is exactly what happened. (We fought against Germany in two world wars, but have you heard anyone complain about ‘those damned Germans’ lately?) Leftists like to cite opposition to these European waves as evidence that conservatives are stupid to oppose the current non-white immigration from Third World hellholes we’re experiencing today, but, as Dearborn has proven, it’s apples and oranges. Extrapolate that over the next few decades at the immigration rate Democrats would have us endure and you’ll get hundreds if not thousands of places just like Dearborn, Michigan or Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Somalis have their own country within a country. The Great Replacement Theory isn’t just a theory, it’s a fact. Leftists hate white people and want them to become a minority in every place they are currently a majority. You may think race doesn’t or shouldn’t matter at all, but they certainly think it does. Now, I’m not in any way arguing for a white nationalist state or the removal or persecution of legal minorities. America should always include minority populations who assimilate, love this country, and want to contribute to its success. However, there is something to be said for an immigration policy, one similar to the one that helped America prosper right up to 1965, that keeps whites from becoming a minority in the country their ancestors founded. An immigration and naturalization policy that allowed Dearborn, Michigan to become what it is now is inherently flawed and should be scrapped and reworked from the ground up. The future of Western Civilization, the vehicle that gave the world most of the progress, freedom, and standard of living it enjoys today, absolutely depends on it.)
