— Is the Federal Bureaucracy Facing a ‘Deep State’ Purge? – Michael Wald  (DIERSEN: To justify their wasting my federal career and forcing me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, my Democrat GAO superiors could stress that in 1988, I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.  All my Democrat superiors could stress that I always a) opposed patronage, that is, political affiliation discrimination, b) reverse discrimination, c) age discrimination, and d) retaliation.  They could stress a) that I failed/refused to become a Democrat, b) that I was a non-veteran White male, c) that my wife had a good job, and d) that we gave up trying to have children, we did not adopt, and we did not become foster parents.  They could stress that I not make GS-13 (currently $94,610) by age 25, GS-14 (currently $111,801) by age 30, GS-15 (currently $131,508) by age 35, or Senior Executive Service (currently $161,900) by age 40.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Amid reports of leaks and insider fighting in the White House, there are more calls to find and eliminate “Deep State” Federal employees who may oppose President Trump’s plans. On Friday, Sean Hannity joined the chorus saying: “Deep-state Obama holdovers embedded like barnacles in the federal bureaucracy are hell-bent on destroying President Trump. It’s time for the Trump administration to purge these saboteurs.”)
