— Rauner: Illinois ‘won’t do very well’ under Republican health insurance plan – John Byrne and Kim Geiger  (DIERSEN: To turn them against me, my critics/opponents would have their operatives and their dupes shout at the 3 million on Medical in Illinois that because I am a federal retiree, my wife and I pay only $5,763 a year for $23,051 worth of health, dental, and vision insurance.  Sadly, most if not virtually all of the operatives and dupes who work for my critics/opponents have severe financial, health, and other problems and they appear to be on Medicaid.)
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-bruce-rauner-rahm-emanuel-trump-healthcare-plan-met-20170307-story.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: In Illinois, about 3 million, or 1 of every 4, residents are on Medicaid, including about 650,000 people insured under Medicaid expansion. The state is getting an estimated $14.1 billion in federal money this year to support traditional Medicaid and Medicaid expansion. The House GOP plan would switch state reimbursement from a federal match to a limited amount of money, blowing a big hole in a state budget that’s already severely out of whack amid a record impasse in Springfield.)
