(FROM THE ARTICLE: The Indiana Republican Party is seeking suggestions about what it should stand for and what it should oppose, as GOP leaders work to craft a platform for delegates to consider adopting in June at the party’s biennial state convention. The Indiana GOP Platform Committee next month is holding three public hearings for Hoosier Republicans to recommend positions, policies and programs for the 2018 party platform. The hearing happening closest to Northwest Indiana is set for 6 p.m., Eastern time, April 12 at the St. Joseph County Republican Headquarters, 4133 S. Main St., South Bend.
