Ever-increasingly, since the 1960s, employers have used Affirmative Action, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to not hire, to not retain, and to get rid of those who share my demographics: heterosexual, conservative, White, male, non-veteran, Protestant, German American, and my ancestors have been in America for a long time. I am especially thankful for the IRS manager who promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974. But my Democrat IRS superiors got rid of him. I am especially thankful for the GAO manager who arranged for my transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980 and who finally succeeded in getting me assigned to audits of IRS and promoting me in 1986. But my Democrat GAO superiors got rid of him.
