They outrageously/disgustingly/unethically argued that the courses were not job-related, that they did not help me carry out my job duties, that they qualified me for a new trade or business, and that I took them to get a job in the private sector. They ignored/dismissed/belittled the requirements of my position descriptions and the fact that I stated in my Loyola and DePaul applications that I wanted to take the courses because the employee manual that IRS gave me in 1971 encouraged me to take graduate business, accounting, and law courses. They helped Money Magazine make my deducting the courses look improper in its 4-page February 1978 article on me. Again, as long as Democrats run IRS, Republicans should use TurboTax.)
