GOPUSA
— Who’s paying for the violence?  (DIERSEN: Are the protestors being paid at least $15 an hour?)
http://www.gopusa.com/whos-paying-for-the-violence/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money is providing the funding for protests around the country — some of which have turned into violent riots — that have threatened a divided nation’s ability to unify after a contentious presidential election. The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization — the same classification as the Red Cross. The group’s mission is to “provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities,” according to its IRS filings. The fund provides the financial backing for Act Now To Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition, a left-wing activist group that began organizing “emergency protests” immediately after Trump’s election. Cities where ANSWER held protests included: Chicago, New York, DC and San Francisco, among others.)

— Megyn Kelly Tells Tales Out of Fox News in Her Memoir, ‘Settle for More’ – JENNIFER SENIOR  (DIERSEN: QUESTION: Who/what glorifies and praises Kelly?  ANSWER: Individuals, organizations, companies, governments, and countries that are anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, anti-draft avoiders, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America longer than their ancestors.)
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/12/books/review-megyn-kelly-tells-tales-out-of-fox-news-in-her-memoir-settle-for-more.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Even had there been no news in Megyn Kelly’s new memoir, “Settle for More,” the book would have drawn a considerable audience. Ms. Kelly, the 45-year-old anchor on Fox News, has emerged as this presidential election’s unlikely feminist heroine and Hildy Johnson, the intrepid gal reporter who made herself indispensable to the brass and resisted the herd mentality of the men around her. She was the hen in the Fox house, taking it upon herself to ask at nearly every turn: Shouldn’t we be concerned that the Republican nominee for president is profoundly disrespectful of women in his public discourse? And accused of being a sexual predator at that?  That man, Donald J. Trump, is now America’s president-elect. After reading Ms. Kelly’s book, scheduled to be published on Tuesday but obtained early by The New York Times, I must say I feel nervous for her. According to her book, Mr. Trump did not take kindly to Ms. Kelly’s questions, and he appeared to retaliate in creepy, personal ways. Many journalists are already concerned that he has little regard for their professional responsibilities or First Amendment rights. “Settle for More” won’t allay their fears.)
— Clarence M. Ditlow III, Auto Safety Crusader, Dies at 72 – ROBERT D. McFADDEN  (DIERSEN: I should write a book about Diersen v. Ford Motor Company and Packey Webb Ford concerning my 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX.)
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/12/business/clarence-ditlow-died.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: An engineer and lawyer, Mr. Ditlow collaborated with Mr. Nader on “The Lemon Book” (1980), on “The Lemon Book: Auto Rights” (1990) and on many safety articles. He also wrote about the tendency of some vehicles to roll over, to jump from Park into Reverse gear and to power off with a loss of all controls and airbags while being driven. . .In addition to millions of other recalls in the ’80s and ’90s, Mr. Ditlow and his organization achieved lemon laws in all 50 states to protect consumers. Over the last 25 years, he also served on the boards of Consumers Union, the environmental group Friends of the Earth and the Canadian highway and the auto safety organization Automobile Protection Association.)
— Facebook Will Stop Some Ads From Targeting Users by Race – SAPNA MAHESHWARI and MIKE ISAAC  (DIERSEN: From what I see, ever-increasingly, under the Democrats and under the RINOs, advertisers are more and more and more anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, anti-draft avoiders, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America longer than their ancestors.)

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article114137548.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Learn from career federal employees: Go beyond the rhetoric and recognize that the federal workforce “has many great and committed people,” as a Trump campaign statement said, is Stier’s advice. Trump should view federal employees, “the real engine of the government,” as “your most important asset,” he added by phone. But Trump would subject agencies to a federal hiring freeze, his first 100-day “Contract With the American Voter” promises. “Job No. 1 is to bring in a qualified and effective team quickly,” Stier said. The transition “begins with people.”)

FORTUNE
— How You Can Pay Veterans Back With a Job – Ellen McGirt  (DIERSEN: Government is nasty.  Politics is nasty.  What do you say to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes a) who have always stressed that I am not a veteran because I successfully sought and obtained student draft deferments 1966-1970 and a financial hardship draft deferment 1970-1971, b) who have always hinted/implied/argued/shouted that because of the aforesaid, I am a patriotic hypocrite, a coward, and even worse things, and c) who have always hinted/implied/argued/shouted that instead of me, the Post Office should have hired a veteran in 1966; that the Post Office should gotten rid of me much sooner than it did so that a veteran could have my job; that instead of me, IRS should have hired a veteran in 1971; that instead of me, IRS should have promoted veterans in 1972, 1973, and 1974; that instead of me, GAO should have hired a  veteran in 1980; that instead of me, GAO should have promoted a veteran in 1986; and that GAO should gotten rid of me much sooner than it did so that a veteran could have my job and my preferred corner office?)

FORD AUTHORITY
— This 97-Year-Old Swede Drives A Brand-New Ford Mustang GT – AARON BIRCH  (DIERSEN: How old are you? What is your position on age discrimination?  My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always viciously demonized me, viciously denigrated me, and viciously condemned me as being old. This spring, when I was only 67 years old, I bought a new 2016 Ford Mustang.  I bought a new 2013 Dodge Charger R/T Max when I was 63.  I bought a new 2005 Corvette when I was 56.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: There is an unwritten rule that those of a certain age retire, hire a geriatric nurse or move into an assisted living facility, and just generally give up on ever having much fun ever again. Lennart Ribring, a 97-year-old man living in Sweden, has opted not to follow protocol, instead buying himself a brand-new Ford Mustang GT with a manual transmission and cramming as much driving fun as he can manage into whatever time he has left. According to Road & Track, Mr. Ribring is the oldest Ford Mustang owner alive, and regardless of whether or not that’s true, he’s inarguably just about the coolest. Surprisingly, this is not Lennart Ribring’s first Ford Mustang; he bought a first-generation example way back in the 1960s, and he’s “hardly thought about another car since then.” The above video from Ford Sweden was put together to tell Ribring’s unique story to the world, and in the process, it demonstrates that a passion for driving knows no bounds – not age, nationality, gender, religion, or race. Way to do Ford fans everywhere proud, Mr. Ribring.)
