HOLLYWOOD REPORTER
— Reflections on Hollywood’s Infamous Blacklist 70 Years Later (DIERSEN: How do you want me to treat those who blacklist me because I refuse to carry out their blacklist orders? Should I publish a list of those who blacklist me because I refuse to carry out their blacklist orders? Should I publish a list of those who they want me to blacklist? Those who blacklist me have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout. They make it very clear that they will viciously destroy anyone who supports me.)

Not that my endorsement matters for anything, but members of the following groups do not want my endorsement: anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-patriotic, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America longer than their ancestors and/or those who a) reject planks in the Republican Party platform and/or the Illinois Republican Party platform and work against those like me who support those planks, b) reject the Milton Township Republican Central Committee resolution against video gambling and work against those like me who support that resolution, c) focus on destroying those like me who they cannot manipulate/dominate, d) were defendants in lawsuits that I have filed, and/or e) are operatives or dupes for the aforesaid. The aforesaid promote dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, race and gender based preference giving, age discrimination, political affiliation discrimination, and even worse things.)

— Bannon insurgency stresses loyalty to Trump, not policy test – AP (DIERSEN: Who/what are you loyal to? I am loyal to the Republican Party platform, the Illinois Republican Party platform, and the Milton Township Republican Central Committee resolution against video gambling. My critics/opponents focus on destroying individuals, organizations, companies, governments, and countries that they cannot manipulate/dominate.)

— HARDCOPY ARTICLE TITLE: Not everyone will be spending big for holidays. High-income consumers seen driving the buying. – Abha Bhattahai (DIERSEN: Will you be spending big for holidays? I will not. Are you a high-income consumer? I am not. How much have you had to cut down on personal expenses? Since 1997, in today’s dollars, I have had to cut down my personal expenses by $1,454,723, that is, $72,135 a year, $6,011 a month, $1,403 a week, or $200 a day. In 1997, in today’s dollars, my GAO salary was $122,991/year. My Civil Service Retirement System pension is only $50,856/year, or 41% of that.)

— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD WITH BIB COLOR PICTURE: ‘No worse fate than failure’: How pressure to keep up is overwhelming students in elite districts – Karen Ann Cullotta, Karen Berkowitz, Kimberly Fornek and Suzanne Baker (DIERSEN: When you in high school, were you “college material?” While I attended Crete-Monee High School 1962-1966, I took college preparatory courses notwithstanding the fact that many, if not most, if not virtually everyone at the time viewed me as NOT being “college material.” Neither of my parents had attended college. My father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma. My mother never attended high school. I spent my junior and senior years and the summer in between washing dishes for the minimum wage in the basement of the S.S. Kresges in Chicago Heights. I just barely made into the top 20% of my class, my ACT score was only 24, I was draft bait, my eyesight could not be corrected to 20/20, I had partial red/green color blindness, and I had Osgood-Schlatter disease (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osgood%E2%80%93Schlatter_disease).)

DAILY HERALD
— How Sarah Huckabee brings White House watchdogs to heel – Kathleen Parker (DIERSEN: Who wants you to heel? Democrats and Democrat plants, Libertarians and Libertarian plants, Greens and Green plants, and RINOs want me to heel. They do not want me to know about their events or their other activities. They do not want me to promote their events or their other activities. They do not want me to attend their events or their other activities. They do not want me to report on their events or their other activities. Of course, they want to stop me from putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS together and sending them out and they want to stop everyone from reading those emails. But failing that, they want to dictate which articles I do and I do not include links to in GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails; they want me to carry out their blacklist orders. They punish me by not including [email protected] in their press advisory and press release lists. They do everything that they can to turn activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. against me.)

CRAIN’S CHICAGO BUSINESS
— GOP tax bill one turkey that shouldn’t be pardoned – GREG HINZ
http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20171124/ISSUE05/171129949/gop-tax-bill-one-turkey-that-shouldnt-be-pardoned
(FROM THE ARTICLE: But when it comes to individuals, congressional leaders like Illinois’ own Peter Roskam say, trust us—we’ll fix the tax code (later) and make sure that individual rates don’t increase. But don’t individuals who have to pay mortgage expenses, college bills, retirement and any number of things need to plan just as much as IBM does? I’d have more faith in this scheme if Congress made the individual rates permanent and corporate rates temporary. But then the big corporate donors who fuel the GOP wouldn’t buy it. Neither should you. Then there’s the disappearing exemption for state and local taxes, which the House wants to limit to $10,000 for home property taxes and the Senate would totally abolish. However you peddle it, this is a big diversion of resources from relatively high-tax states such as Illinois to lower-tax areas such as Texas (home to the chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee), which wants billions of our tax dollars to rebuild after yet another hurricane. Republicans used to oppose double taxation. But under these bills, money that’s already been snarfed up by local governments would be fully subject to federal income taxes. More: Interest payments on the kids’ college loans would no longer be deductible under the House bill. Many homeowners would lose out on deductions for interest on home mortgages. And to boot, to pay for corporate cuts, individual tax brackets would be adjusted for inflation differently with the effect that over the next decade, at least 20 percent of any tax cut would disappear for everyone earning under $200,000 a year, according to the Wall Street Journal.)

— Laura Campbell, the wife of Sangamon County Republican sheriff candidate Jack Campbell, suspended from IDOT job for interviewing friend for job – Bernard Schoenburg (DIERSEN: GAO hired me in 1980 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, younger person, or veteran who would take the job. IRS hired me in 1971 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. The Post Office hired me in 1966 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job.)

HERALD & REVIEW
— Davis thankful in multiple ways – Chuck Raasch (DIERSEN: According to your critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, are you thankful enough? According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, I am not thankful enough. They hint/imply/argue/shout that I am undeservedly filthy rich and that I should be extremely thankful a) that they have not yet stopped me from putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails together and sending them out, b) that they have not yet stopped everyone from reading those emails, c) that they have not yet ended my service as a Republican Precinct Committeeman, and d) that they let me serve as a TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman 2005-2012, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee member 2003-2011, Milton Township Republican Central Committee webmaster 2008-2010 and 2000-2004, Illinois Center Right Coalition Steering Committee member 2003-2007, American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter board member 2001-2004, GAO employee 1980-1997, IRS employee 1971-1980, Post Office employee 1966-1969, etc.)

— Gubernatorial race coming to a polling place near you Rauner’s bank account dwarfs that of Rep. Ives – Doug Finke (DIERSEN: What do you say to my critics/opponents who hint/imply/argue/shout at Ives a) that fundraising is her most important activity and b) that Dave Diersen and his GOPUSA emails harm her fundraising efforts? They hint/imply/argue/shout at Ives that many, if not most, if not virtually all major donors despise if not hate Dave Diersen and his GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails. The aforesaid certainly played out that way at Ives’ November 20, 2017 fundraiser. It would great if someone would ask Vince Kolber, Ed Bachrach, Virginia McCaskey, Gary Rabine, and her other major donors at that fundraiser as well as William Dixon, Peter Huizenga, and Elizabeth Weiss, why they despise if not hate Dave Diersen and his GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails so much.)

CBS NEWS
— GAO: A harsh financial reality facing retirees – STEVE VERNON (DIERSEN: What percent is or will be your retirement income of your preretirement income? My $50,856 Civil Service Retirement System pension is only 41 percent of ending GAO salary of $122,991 in today’s dollars. That is a) because my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take an $18,847 pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980; b) because my Democrat IRS superiors did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims in 1974; and c) because my Democrat Post Office superiors forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests in 1969 and 1968.)
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/a-harsh-financial-reality-facing-retirees/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Here’s a discomforting point made at the very beginning of a recent landmark report titled “The Nation’s Retirement System”: “Most financial advisers say retirees will need 70 percent or more of preretirement earnings to live comfortably.” Unfortunately, many older workers and retirees will fall far short of this goal. The report, prepared by the US Government Accountability Office (GAO), goes on to say one-third of households headed by someone age 65 and over received 90 percent or more of their retirement income from Social Security. That’s a problem because Social Security replaces only about 40 percent of an average wage earner’s income after retiring. According to Social Security’s “Fast Facts” publication, 62 percent of retirees received at least half of their income from Social Security in 2015. These numbers reveal the harsh reality facing most older workers and retirees: They’ll need to learn to live on income that’s a lot less than what financial planners commonly recommend. That result may be undesirable, depending on your circumstances, resiliency and resourcefulness. . .Many older Americans will need to adjust their lifestyle in one or more of these ways: Spend less Save more Work longer Stay healthy to keep working and not drain savings on medical bills Make smart choices to stretch every dollar These necessary action steps are the reality of retirement in 21st century America.)

— Myths of the 1 Percent: What Puts People at the Top Dispelling misconceptions about what’s driving income inequality in the U.S. – Jonathan Rothwell (DIERSEN: Those who rail against government salaries and rail against government employee benefits a) say nothing about the 1 percent and b) talk and act like they are being paid off by the 1 percent.)
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/17/upshot/income-inequality-united-states.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Almost all of the growth in top American earners has come from just three economic sectors: professional services, finance and insurance, and health care, groups that tend to benefit from regulatory barriers that shelter them from competition. The groups that have contributed the most people to the 1 percent since 1980 are: physicians; executives, managers, sales supervisors, and analysts working in the financial sectors; and professional and legal service industry executives, managers, lawyers, consultants and sales representatives. Without changes in these largely domestic services industries — finance, health care, the law — the United States would look like Canada or Germany in terms of its top income shares.)
— Is Anyone Good Enough for an H1-B Visa? – Frida Yu (DIERSEN: My Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government always hinted/implied/argued/shouted that the undergraduate and graduate courses that I took a) were not job-related, b) did not help me carry out my job duties, c) were taken by me to get a job in the private sector, and d) were a distraction. To keep their jobs and to get promoted, my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government focused on getting rid of federal employees who were Republican, White, male, older, and/or non-veteran.)
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/23/opinion/immigration-visa-h1b-trump-.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: My two requests for evidence asked me to prove my job was a “specialty occupation” — that is, work that only someone with a bachelor’s degree or higher can do. My work involves artificial intelligence and big data, and my letters of support came from an authority in my industry and veteran start-up investor, and a Nobel Prize winner.
