CAPITOL CITY NOW
— Career-focused learning. DD: What career mistakes did you make? Because I was not strong in math, I mistakenly did not major in accounting because I mistakenly believed that I could never pass the CPA examination. But nevertheless, I started taking graduate accounting courses in 1976 when I was 27, passed the CPA examination on my first attempt when I was 30, earned a master’s degree in accounting when I was 31, and passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt and became a licensed CPA when I was 32. But by then, the accounting profession saw me as being too old to have a successful career in accounting. The accounting profession would not have done that if I had been a minority, female, or veteran.

FOX NEWS
— DNC Chair Ken Martin defends ‘Big Tent’ strategy when pressed on democratic socialists. Martin said the party wins ‘through addition, not subtraction’ as Republicans target DSA ties ahead of midterm elections. DD: To vote for Democrats is to vote for socialism. Anti-conservative RINOs, Democrat plants, and Libertarian plants use the Republican Party’s Big Tent policy to destroy the Republican Party, the Illinois Republican Party, the DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and the Milton Township Republican Organization and they are having great success. Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance their platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative. Ever-increasingly, Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, and major donors are less and less and less conservative. At best, they want the Republican Party to be the Democrat Lite Party.

PENN FOSTER RESEARCH
— New Definition of Career Success. DD: According to my critics/opponents, my career was an unmitigated failure. They stress that I never earned more than $154,884/year in today’s dollars and that I was forced to retire when I was 49 in 1997 even though I earned a job-related bachelor’s degree, three job-related master’s degrees, six job-related professional certifications, and a job-related professional license. In my defense, if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran, my Democrat superiors in the federal government would have promoted me into their Senior Executive Service, currently $197,200/year, long before I was 40 in 1988.

GALLUP
— Record-High 47% Want Unions to Have More Influence. DD: I was a union member while I worked for the Post Office 1966-1969 and for IRS 1971-1980. My critics/opponents anti-union big time and always have been. IRS promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974. I transferred from IRS to GAO in 1980. My Democrat GAO superiors were especially anti-union. According to them, if I had been a GAO employee in 1972, 1973, and 1974, I would not have been promoted those years. They stressed that I had only earned a bachelor’s degree in 1970. They ignored/dismissed/belittled that I was taking graduate business courses during those years. They ignored/dismissed/belittled that I earned an MBA in 1976 and that I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979.

NPR
— How Trump’s personal grievances could affect the GOP. DD: Have you been accused of having personal grievances? I have. GAO audits IRS. After I transferred from IRS to GAO in 1980 when I was 31, to stop me from being assigned to audits of IRS, my Democrat IRS and GAO superiors used the adverse actions that my Democrat IRS superiors had taken against me to argue that I wanted to be assigned to audits of IRS not because I could contribute more to GAO on audits of IRS because of my knowledge of IRS, but because I had personal grievances against IRS. Of course, I never wanted to be assigned to audits that involved the specific IRS employees who took adverse actions against me. I stressed that carrying out personal grievances violated codes of professional conduct and that I was under the CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, an licensed CPA professional codes of conduct. Nevertheless, my Democrat IRS and GAO superiors kept stressing that IRS had disallowed my travel vouchers in 1974, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, and never promoted me beyond GS-12. If I had been a Democrat, minority, female, or veteran, my Democrat IRS and GAO superiors would not have used the personal grievance argument against me. But then again, if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, or veteran, my Democrat IRS would not have taken the adverse actions against me that they did.
