I did not take and pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination and become a licensed CPA until I was 32. I became a active member in a class action lawsuit that charged my superiors with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation when I was 40. Nevertheless, I got promoted to GS-12, currently $97,079/year, when I was 25, to GS-13, currently $115,439/year, when I was 38, and GS-13 Step 10, currently $150,075/year, when I was 49.
