CHICAGO SUN-TIMES
— Ald. Burke did not lose ‘legitimacy’ after FBI raid — he never had it – Editorial (DIERSEN: Who paints/painted you as not being legitimate? I should write a book about those who paint/painted me as not being a legitimate member of the media. They stress that according to the ILLINOIS SENATE MEDIA GUIDELINES FOR THE 100TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY (http://www.ilga.gov/senate/SenateMediaGuidelines.pdf), “Persons eligible to apply for a media credential must be a bona fide resident correspondent of reputable standing, giving their chief attention to the gathering and reporting of news. Applicants must be employed by newspapers, periodicals, radio or other news services (hereinafter “news organization”) that regularly publishes a substantial volume of news material of either general, economic, industrial, technical, cultural, or trade character whether on television, in print, on the Internet or a combination thereof. The news organization must engage in and require coverage of Illinois on a continuing basis and must be owned and operated independently of any industry, institution, association, or lobbying organization. All applicants must also be employed by a news organization that is published for profit and is supported chiefly by advertising or by subscription, or is published by a nonprofit organization. Each applicant must operate independently of any industry, or institution, and not engage, directly or indirectly, in any lobbying or other activity intended to influence any matter before the General Assembly or before any department or other instrumentality of the Executive branch.)

DAILY HERALD
— #MeToo’s unintended consequences – Kathleen Parker (DIERSEN: Government is nasty. Politics is nasty. While I worked for the Democrats who ran GAO’s Chicago office 1980-1997, they assigned me to supervise virtually every woman that they hired after 1980. Of course, they wanted those women to charge me with sexual harassment and even worse things.)
https://www.dailyherald.com/discuss/20181206/metoos-unintended-consequences
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A recent Bloomberg News headline came as no surprise: “Wall Street Rule for the #MeToo Era: Avoid Women at All Cost.” In a word, it was inevitable. Some men are so concerned about the possible repercussions of what they might say or do that they’re steering clear of women in the workplace altogether. And as a result, according to Bloomberg, Wall Street “risks becoming more of a boy’s club, rather than less of one.”)

CRAIN’S CHICAGO BUSINESS
— As hard times continue for black residents, many moving away   A new CMAP analysis of census data suggests that African-Americans badly lag other groups in economic growth and are leaving metro Chicago in response. – GREG HINZ (DIERSEN: It certainly seems like those who dominate Chicago want to dump Blacks and replace them with Hispanics.)

SPRINGFIELD STATE JOURNAL REGISTER
— Bush remembered in Springfield as warm, gracious – Bernard Schoenburg (DIERSEN: How do your critics/opponents want you to be remembered? My critics/opponents want me to be remembered as someone who was a White supremacist, Nazi, KKK member, hater, racist, sexist, bigot, and even worse things. They want me to be remembered as someone who was a Trump supporter, Protestant (baptized, raised, and confirmed as a Missouri Synod Lutheran), conservative, patriotic, Republican, American, White, male, rich, gun owner, 100% German Americans, draft avoider, and someone whose ancestors had been in America since 1844. They want me to be remembered as being someone who opposed the promotion of a) dependency on government, b) dependency on charity, c) LGBTQ activity, d) abortion, e) mass/illegal immigration, f) abolition of the First and Second Amendments, g) booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, h) patronage, i) political affiliation discrimination, j) reverse discrimination, k) age discrimination, and l) retaliation. They want me to be remembered as someone who filed false and frivolous lawsuits. They want me to be remembered as someone who they could not manipulate or dominate. They want me to be remembered as someone who was not a member of a church, who did not attend church services, and who did not give money to a church. Even though there are two large cemeteries in my precinct, because so many of my critics/opponents are/were in Wheaton, I do not want to be buried in Wheaton, I want to be cremated so that they cannot urinate/defecate on my grave.)

— Illinois seeks waiver from SNAP work requirements Congressman says waiver reform not part of farm bill – Greg Bishop (DIERSEN: What do you say to those who want “government” to provide not only “free” education, but also “free” housing, “free” food, “free” clothing, “free” healthcare, “free” transportation, and “free” everything else? Why get an education, why get a job, why save for your retirement, why etc. if “government” is going to give you everything for “free?”)

BREITBART
— Retiring Rep. Bob Goodlatte: E-Verify Should Be Mandatory, Jobs Biggest Magnet for Illegal Immigration – Penny Starr (DIERSEN: Democrats want immigrants because immigrants vote for Democrats. RINOs want immigrants because RINOs want cheap labor. Democrats do not promise immigrants public sector jobs. Democrats promise immigrants massive welfare, massive public assistance, dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, retaliation, and even worse things. WASHINGTON POST
— George H.W. Bush praised for respecting federal employees, supporting equitable pay His record, however, is not totally clean – Joe Davidson (DIERSEN: I was a federal employee for 12 years while Bush was Vice President and President. I worked for GAO 1981-1989 while he was Vice President and 1989-1993 while he was President. Of course, because I have always been a Republican, my Democrat GAO superiors used everything that Bush did or did not do against me. If Bush had been reelected in 1992, I might still be a GAO employee.)

WALL STREET JOURNAL
— Trump Didn’t Kill the Bush Values The opposition to traditional virtues was evident at the 1992 convention. – Daniel Henninger (DIERSEN: I should write a book about those who falsely claim to be religious, conservative, and/or Republican to give themselves standing to promote massive welfare, massive public assistance, dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, retaliation, and even worse things.)

https://www.wsj.com/articles/state-funeral-for-president-george-h-w-bush-suggests-its-possible-to-unite-as-well-as-divide-1544048342
(FROM THE ARTICLE: There are ample grounds for skepticism. Even as this Bush moment was marked, it wasn’t possible to put aside entirely the passions and divisions of the moment. When President Trump arrived, he strode past and then sat down in the same pew as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who opposed him in a presidential campaign in which Mr. Trump led supporters in chanting, “Lock her up.” Mrs. Clinton sat stony-faced, staring straight ahead. . .Yet for all the talk of unity, there were no Democratic speakers at Wednesday’s service, and no handshakes between Mr. Trump and Bill and Mrs. Clinton.)

KANSAS
— Kansas House Republicans pick conservative leader – JONATHAN SHORMAN (DIERSEN: Who are the conservative leaders in your municipality, in your township/ward, in your county, and in Illinois? What do they do to defend and advance the Illinois Republican Party and Republican Party platforms, including their traditional family, right to life, immigration, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks? Do they have a website and do they post to it regularly? Do they send out emails regularly? How many visit their websites and read their emails? Who visits their websites and reads their emails? What do you say to those who claim to be conservative leaders in Illinois, in DuPage County, and in Wheaton, but who a) discourage me from putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails together and sending them out and b) discourage everyone from reading those emails? They treat me like me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails never existed. They fail/refuse to keep diersen@aol.com on their press advisory and press release lists. They do not want me a) to know about their events and other activities, b) to promote their events and other activities, c) to attend their events, and d) to report on their events and other activities.
