Democrats use tax return information to destroy Republicans. In 1978, the Democrats at Money Magazine and the Democrats at IRS used my tax returns to hint/imply/argue/shout that my education deductions were improper and should be disallowed. They hinted/implied/argued/shouted that the graduate business courses that I had taken at Loyola 1972-1976 and the graduate accounting courses that I had taken at DePaul 1976-1977 a) were not job-related, b) did not help me carry out my job duties, c) were taken by me to qualify me for a “new trade or business,” d) were taken by me to get a job in the private sector, and e) were a distraction. To get rid of me, my Democrat IRS superiors had me “under investigation” 1974-1977. When my IRS Democrat superiors succeeded in getting rid of the IRS manager who had promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974, they used an extremely broad definition of “commuting area” for its downtown Chicago office to disallow my partial day per diem claims. They hinted/implied/argued that my partial day per diem claims were fraudulent. Needless-to-say, that ended my IRS career. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, a minority, a female, or a veteran.)
