Mine do/would stress that unlike me, a) they are not conservative, b) they are not White, c) they are not male, d) they are younger than me, e) they are not Protestant, f) they are not German American, g) their ancestors have not been in America for a long time, h) they have children, i) they are not draft-avoiders, j) they are church members, k) they attend church services, l) they give money to a church, m) they ran for and/or were elected to government offices, n) they are/were officers of the Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO), o) they were never dumped as MTRO webmaster, p) they were never dumped as a Republican fundraiser for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks, q) no one ended their bid to serve on Wheaton’s City Council, r) no one gerrymander their precinct, s) no one ended their leadership role in TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois, t) no one ended their membership on the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee, u) no one ended their leadership role in the Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC), v) no one tried to get ICRC to censure them, w) no one ended their leadership role in the American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter, x) no one forced them to take early retirement, y) no one took adverse actions against them while they were employed, and/or z) they never filed any lawsuits.
