They stressed that while my peers were dying in Vietnam, I earned a bachelor’s degree in 1970 and an MBA in 1976. In my defense, I earned the money for the aforesaid by washing dishes 1964-1966, cleaning golf shoes, chipping slag, and pumping gasoline in 1966, delivering mail 1966-1969, working on an automobile assembly line in 1970, selling tires, automotive services, and major appliances 1970-1971, pumping gasoline 1971-1972, and collecting delinquent taxes 1971-1980. Further, they stressed that while my peers were dying in Vietnam, I took big vacations in 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975. and 1976. They have always hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I would not have been able to do the aforesaid if I had not avoided the Vietnam War draft. Further, they have always stressed that because of my health problems, I would not have been sent into combat anyway. My Democrat Post Office, Firestone Stores, IRS, and GAO superiors used my avoiding the Vietnam War draft against me the most. I should write a book about that.)
