https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2020/02/02/social-media-uses-super-bowl-pepsi-half-time-to-push-racial-division/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Aside from those wondering just what the heck Shakira was doing with her tongue during Super Bowl LIV’s Pepsi halftime show, one of the most posted social media comments was attempts to deepen racial division in the country. A scroll through Twitter, for instance shows thousands of users claiming some people, particularly white people, must have been furious that the stars of the show were two powerful Latinas, singers Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, and that they sang most of their lyrics in Spanish. Naturally, Trump was also a common target:)

— A Scrappy Iowa Start-Up Is the ‘It’ Read for Political Insiders Iowa Starting Line began as a man and his laptop. It’s now a rare success story in the ailing world of local news. – Michael M. Grynbaum (DIERSEN: Please see Schoenburg’s August 16, 2012 article on me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails at: https://www.sj-r.com/x1782330063/Bernard-Schoenburg-A-bunch-of-political-info-daily )
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/31/business/media/iowa-caucus-media-starting-line.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The best political journalism you’ve never heard of is coming from a scrappy start-up in the East Village. The East Village of Des Moines, that is. Iowa Starting Line, a no-frills news outlet that started out as a rookie reporter and his Twitter account, is the new must-read of the 2020 campaign. Elite reporters follow it. Candidates care about it. And at a painful time in the local news business, its six-person staff has started to rival The Des Moines Register for scoops and influence in the first-in-the-nation presidential caucus. “If I want to know what’s happening on the ground in Iowa, I’m clicking on The Register or Iowa Starting Line, and not necessarily in that order,” said Tim Alberta, Politico’s chief political correspondent. At a recent debate night in Des Moines, Starting Line’s founder and editor, Pat Rynard, an unassuming Missourian in a blazer and checked shirt, was surrounded by network news reporters seeking the latest political gossip. Dave Weigel, a national writer for The Washington Post, told Mr. Rynard he reads the site to stay current. “It’s so the locals don’t think, ‘This East Coast schmuck doesn’t know anything,’” Mr. Weigel quipped. Mr. Rynard, 34, is a genial former Democratic operative who left his job in 2015 to try his hand at journalism. Now his team of five reporters — some barely out of college — is bigger than the political staffs at many of the state’s newspapers, which have been badly hurt by layoffs. Starting Line, which is donor- and ad-supported, opened its first newsroom in June in Des Moines’s hip East Village district. (Before that, Mr. Rynard was a solo act, editing from home with his dachshund, Franklin, at his feet.) The stark décor is, almost accidentally, start-up chic: concrete floors, industrial lighting, a bare-bones podcast room where Jane Sanders, wife of Bernie, was a recent guest.)

Extremely few federal employees make the aforesaid promotion deadlines. It is called Affirmative Action, Diversity, Inclusion, up-or-out, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination.)

— FRONT PAGE: Is It Fair to Award Scholarships Based on the SAT? Colleges are asking this question as they seek more diversity in their student bodies, worry that white students disproportionately score higher and compete for students with merit aid – Douglas Belkin (DIERSEN: Why were you able to pass the tests that you did? According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, I was able to pass the tests that I did, including passing the CPA examination and the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt and all the tests necessary to earn three job-related master’s degrees, because I unfairly benefitted from a) discrimination against Whites and against women, b) my parents having enough money to send me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School 1953-1961 and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod, c) my avoiding the draft, and d) my having good health.)

My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes a) reject planks in the Republican Party platform and/or the Illinois Republican Party platform and work against those like me who support those planks, b) reject the Milton Township Republican Organization resolution against video gambling and work against those like me who support that resolution, c) focus on destroying those like me who they cannot manipulate/dominate, d) were defendants in lawsuits that I have filed, and/or e) are operatives or dupes for the aforesaid.)

MIAMI HERALD
— Column on retaining younger workers crossed the line – MARCELO SALUP (DIERSEN: All my critics/opponents promote age discrimination. I should write a book about them. I would focus on those who have lots or religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois. I would focus on those who paint themselves as being religious, conservative, and/or Republican.)
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/biz-monday/article239719918.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: As a long time (and older) reader, I feel truly insulted by James Cassel’s article about retaining younger workers published in Business Monday on Jan. 27. Basically, he’s saying that old workers ought to just vanish into the sunset and uses dog-whistle phrases like: These “diehards” have varying motivations for extending their careers. They “may feel” they still have much to offer. You may also need to work with senior-level people to “alter their positions” Imagine you had to explain to white workers why “diehard” black workers are in the way? Or male workers why “diehard” females are in the way? Or tell a black worker you have to “alter his position” because a white guy wants it. Did it escape your Miami Herald [editors] that age discrimination is illegal? Immoral? My opinion as a 40-year reader of the Herald? Cassel is the one that should be (forcibly) marched into the sunset.)

INSIDE HIGHER EDUCATION
— Simplifying Public Service Loan Forgiveness – Kery Murakami (DIERSEN: Because I have always been a Republican, my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government always hinted/implied/argued/shouted a) that the college courses that I took were not job-related, did not help me carry out my job duties, and qualified me for a “new trade or business” and b) that the “real reason” why I took college courses was to get a job in the private sector.)

FEDERAL NEWS NETWORK
— Should GAO get more funding? Some think so (DIERSEN: The Democrats who run GAO wasted my career and forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran.)
https://federalnewsnetwork.com/federal-drive/2020/02/should-watchdog-agency-get-more-funding-some-think-so/

NEWS ONE
— How Closing The Racial Wealth Gap Would Change Black History (DIERSEN: What would your superiors say that they did to fight the racial wealth gap? My Democrat GAO superiors would stress that they forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, gave me unfair performance expectations and appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $20,157 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980. My Democrat IRS superiors would stress that they did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, got rid of my mentor in 1975, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims in 1974. My Democrat Post Office superiors would stress that they forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests in 1969 and 1968. My aforesaid Democrat superiors would stress that the aforesaid adverse actions that they took against me directly benefited their employees who were minorities.)

NATION
— Can Democrats Win Back Trump Voters—Without Compromising their Soul? Many analysts say Democrats need to score significant swing voter support to win in 2020. The question is whether they can do that without tilting to the center. – Tana Ganeva (DIERSEN: If you are a Republican, what would Democrats stress to you to get you to leave the Republican Party? They would stress to me how the Republican Party in Illinois, in DuPage County, in Milton Township, and in Wheaton ever-increasingly fails/refuses to defend/advance its platform, and especially its traditional family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks.)

RAW STORY
— Using cannabis to cope with stress might exacerbate depression symptoms (DIERSEN: Operatives and dupes who work for my critics/opponents are under a lot of stress, most commonly, financial stress. GOPUSA ILLINOIS
— How soon, if not already, will those who want Republicans to lose elections succeed in getting the Republican Party to officially adopt the following rules? – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com

1. The Republican Party will not support candidates unless they are at least one of the following: young, minority, female, veteran, non-conservative, non-Protestant, non-German American, their ancestors have not been in America for a long time.

2. The Republican Party will not allow people to hold leadership positions in the party unless they are at least one of the following: young, minority, female, veteran, non-conservative, non-Protestant, non-German American, their ancestors have not been in America for a long time.

3. The more of the following that candidates and party leaders are, the more support that the Republican Party will give them: young, minority, female, veteran, non-conservative, non-Protestant, non-German American, their ancestors have not been in America for a long time.
