Because my outstanding parents had enough money to send me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961 and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always viciously demonized, denigrated, and condemned them and me as being filthy rich. In my and in my parents’ defense, my father never earned more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars. He almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. He did not buy a new car until he was 45 years old in 1967 and it was a bottom of the line 6-cylinder 2-door Chevrolet. My mother never worked outside of our home until after he died suddenly in 1969 when he was 47 and I was 21. Because my parents lacked money to pay for my college expenses, a) I did yard work 1962-1964, b) I delivered newspapers 1962-1966, c) I washed dishes 1964-1966, d) I cleaned golf shoes, chipped slag, and pumped gasoline in 1966, and e) I delivered mail 1966-1969.

My Democrat GAO superiors demonized me, denigrated me, and condemned me as being a barrier to my Black CPA subordinate’s advancement. So they a) forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old, b) gave him my job, and c) gave him my preferred corner office. Previously, to get rid of me, they a) always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, b) kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, c) gave me bad job assignments, unfair performance expectations, and unfair performance appraisals, d) assigned me to supervise their most problematic employees, e) turned my superiors, supervisors, coworker, and subordinates against me, f) never promoted me beyond GS-13, g) delayed my promotions to GS-11, GS-12, and GS-13, and h) forced me to take a $21,863/year pay cut in today’s dollars, a downgrade from 12 Step 5, currently $104,583/year, to GS-9 Step 10, currently $82,720/year to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980.
