Of course, needless-to-say, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always used that against me. In my defense, I stress that my grandfather on my father’s side fought the Germans during WWI, that my uncles on my mother’s side fought the Germans during WWII, and that my father would have fought the Germans during WWII if he had not been 4-F. Further, according to http://dna.ancestry.com , my ancestry is 33% Europe West, 28% Scandinavia, 24% Great Britain, 11% Ireland, 2% Europe East, 1% Finland/Northwest Russia, and 1% Italy/Greece. Katlyn Smith recently wrote “Once ‘the place to go,’ Wheaton Bowl to be sold to gas station developer.”
https://www.dailyherald.com/news/20220303/once-the-place-to-go-wheaton-bowl-to-be-sold-to-gas-station-developer
In 2002, I got the Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) to hold its monthly meetings, and many of its other events, in the Wheaton Bowl Banquet Hall, and MTRO did that until the building closed in 2019. Since 1999, I have had the best record by far for attending MTRO monthly meetings and other events. I served as MTRO webmaster 2000-2004 and 2008-2010. In addition, while I served on the Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee 2003-2007, I got ICRC to hold many of its meetings and other events in the Banquet Hall. While I served on the ICRC Steering Committee, I had one of the best records for attending ICRC monthly meetings and other events.
Since 2002, I have written many reports on monthly meetings and other events that MTRO and ICRC have held in the Banquet Hall and a) included those reports in GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters and b) posted those reports at http://www.gopillinois.com .
Since 2002, MTRO leaders, their operatives, and their dupes have blamed me and by GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters a) for Jim Ryan being defeated by Rod Blagojevich and b) for all the other losses that Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct have suffered..
In 2004, in the Banquet Hall, MTRO leaders, their operatives, and their dupes a) ended my MTRO webmaster service and b) viciously crushed my bid to serve as MTRO Treasurer.
In 2006, in the Banquet Hall, ICRC leaders, their operatives, and their dupes almost succeeded in getting ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails. I should write a book about those who blamed me and blamed my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters for Bill Brady losing to Jim Oberweis and to Judy Baar Topinka in the 2006 Illinois Republican Party gubernatorial primary.
In 2007, in the Banquet Hall, ICRC leaders, their operatives, and their dupes succeeded in throwing me off the ICRC Steering Committee.
In 2010, MTRO leaders, their operatives, and their dupes ended my MTRO webmaster service.
During 2019, MTRO leaders, their operatives, and their dupes hinted/implied/argued/shouted that my continuing success since 2009 in getting Wheaton to ban video gambling had caused Wheaton Bowl great financial harm.
I should write a book about the many extremely derrogatory things that certain past and present MTRO and ICRC leaders, their operatives, and their dupes have said about me and about my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in the Banquet Hall.
Further, I should also write a book about the extremely derrogatory things that certain past and present MTRO leaders, their operatives, and their dupes have said and done since 2005 to stop me from raising funds from DuPage Republicans so that DuPage Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’d Independence Day parade and fireworks.

— This year, will Wheaton again let Republicans help sponsor its Independence Day parade and fireworks? – Dave Diersen

Last year, Wheaton stopped me from raising funds from Republicans so that Republicans could help sponsor its Independence Day parade and fireworks, something that I had done since 2005. Last year, Glen Ellyn had tremendous success in raising funds from sponsors for its Independence Day parade and fireworks. SEE: https://www.glenellyn4thofjuly.org/sponsors This year, will Wheaton again let Republicans help sponsor its Independence Day parade and fireworks? I urge the following to urge Wheaton to let me raise funds from Republicans so that Republicans can again help sponsor Wheaton’s Independence Day parade and fireworks: a) Republican candidates who will have entries in Wheaton’s Independence Day parade, b) leaders of the Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Illinois Republican Party, c) Republican leaders of Wheaton, Wheaton Park District, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Wheaton Downtown Association, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois, and d) Republican residents and businesses along the parade route.

— JULY 25, 2007 FLASHBACK: Republicans made parade great event – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
(MY LETTER TO SUBURBAN LIFE EDITOR: One of the reasons why parents bring their children to parades is to see marching bands and animals. This year, for Wheaton’s Independence Day parade and fireworks, in my roles as the http://www.GOPUSA.com Illinois editor, as the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman, and as a Milton Township Republican precinct committeeman, I had the honor of recruiting Republicans and Republican organizations to sponsor two outstanding parade entries: The Chicago Highlanders Pipes and Drums band and Big Queenie, a 38-year-old, 10,000 pound Asian female elephant. With the elephant being the proud symbol of the Republican Party, I am very happy to report that Big Queenie won the parade’s Best Political Entry award. Outstanding Republican parade entries included Joe Birkett, DuPage County District 4 (Grant Eckhoff, Mike Formento, J.R. McBride and Debra Olson), Mike Fortner, Gwen Henry, Randy Hultgren, Chris Kachiroubas, Milton Township Republican Central Committee, Ron Paul supporters, Peter Roskam, Steve Sauerberg and Bob Schillerstrom. Big Queenie, who recently visited Wheaton with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the DuPage County fairgrounds, walked the parade route behind Congressman Peter Roskam’s float. Many who stopped by the staging area before the parade kicked off took advantage of the opportunity to see the beautiful and very gentle elephant up close and take pictures of her. I hope that Republican sponsorship of Big Queenie and the outstanding Chicago Highlanders Pipe and Drums in the parade will become a tradition. Many thanks again to the following outstanding 30 Republicans and one Republican political organization who contributed from $50 to $250 each for a total of $3,300 to sponsor the Chicago Highlanders and/or Big Queenie: Mary Jo Arndt, Alan Bolds, Fred Bucholz, David Carlin, Roger Claar, Franco Coladipietro, Mike Connelly, Paul Daniels, Kirk Dillard, DuPage County Young Republicans, Bob Earl, Jim Flickinger, Mike Formento, Mike Fortner, Mike Gresk, Gwen Henry, Randy Hultgren, Bob Jacobsen, Chris Kachiroubas, Gary King, Mark Kmiecik, Bob Larsen, J.R. McBride, Debra Olson, Mike Prueter, Peter Roskam, Darlene Ruscitti, Leonard Sanchez, Ron Smith, Phil Suess and Tim Whelan. Also, many thanks again to All Star Printing for printing the many parade fliers that I hand-delivered to every home and business on the parade route.)

— Back in the “Good Old Days” – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
I attribute my successes in life to my upbringing. I was born a male in 1948. My parents were White Missouri Synod Lutheran (MSL) 100% German American Crete residents. They had me baptized as a MSL. They sent me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961. They sent me to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod. They had me confirmed as a MSL at Hope Lutheran Church in 1962. They sent me to Crete-Monee High School 1962-1966.
My outstanding parents never attended college. My father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma. My mother was raised on a farm in Grant Park on the Indiana border, she never attended high school, and she stayed home and raised my brother and I. My father fought brittle type 1 diabetes from age 14, worked in the office of a nasty chemical plant in Chicago Heights, almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills, and died suddenly of heart failure in 1969 when he was 47 and I was 21.
My outstanding parents provided me with room and board in their home in Crete while I completed courses at UIC 1966-1968 and worked for the Park Forest Post Office 1966-1969.
Were it not for my upbringing, I would not have been able to earn a) a job-related bachelor’s degree in management from NIU when I was 21 in 1970 and job-related master’s degrees when I was 27 (business-Loyola), 31 (accounting-DePaul), and 48 (financial markets and trading-IIT), b) job-related professional certifications when I was 30 (CPA), 32 (Certified Internal Auditor), 41 (Certified Fraud Examiner), 45 (Certified Government Financial Manager), 47 (Certified Financial Services Auditor), and 48 (Forensic Accountant), and c) a job-related professional license (CPA) when I was 32.
Were it not for my upbringing, the Post Office would not have hired me in 1966. The Post Office hired me in 1966 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. Firestone Stores would not have hired me in 1970. Oldsmobile would not have offered me a job in 1971. IRS would not have hired me in 1971. IRS hired me in 1971 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. IRS would not promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974. GAO would not have hired me in 1980. GAO hired me in 1980 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, younger person, or veteran who would take the job. GAO would not have promoted me in 1986 and GAO would have forced me to retire much sonner than it did in 1997. In 1997, in today’s dollars, my GAO salary was $136,387/year.
Were it not for my upbringing, I would not have been able to buy a new town home in University Park in 1972, a studio condo in downtown Chicago in 1974, and a one bedroom condo in downtown Chicago in 1976. Were it not for my upbringing, my wife and I would not have been able to buy a home in Wheaton in 1978 and to have one built in Wheaton in 1984.
Were it not for my upbringing, I would not have been able to buy new cars in 1966, 1967, 1968, 1971, 1973, etc. and collector cars in 1989 and 1994.
Back in the “Good Old Days:”
— Fathers could earn enough money that mothers could stay home and raise their children.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted individual responsibility, that is, the Republican Party opposed the promotion of dependency on government and dependency on charity.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted traditional marriage and the traditional family, that is, the Republican Party opposed the promotion of LGBTQ.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted right to life, that is, the Republican Party opposed the promotion of abortion.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted enforcement of immigration laws, that is, the Republican Party opposed the promotion of mass/illegal immigration.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted enforcement of drug laws, that is, the Republican Party opposed the legalization of pot.
— The Republican Party strongly opposed the promotion of vices, that is, the Republican Party opposed the promotion of booze, gambling, pot, and other vices.
— The Republican Party strongly opposed more gun control laws.
— The Republican Party strongly promoted equal opportunity, that is, it opposed race and gender based preference giving, that is, it opposed reverse discrimination and age discrimination.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1966 as there is today, I doubt that the Post Office would have hired me or UIC would have accepted me.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1969 as there is today, I doubt that NIU would have accepted me.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1970 as there is today, I doubt that Firestone Stores would have hired me.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1971 as there is today, I doubt that Oldsmobile would have offered me a job.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1971 as there is today, I doubt that IRS would have hired me or promoted me in 1972, 1973, or 1974.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1972 as there is today, I doubt that Loyola would have accepted me.
If there was as much reverse discrimination in 1976 as there is today, I doubt that DePaul would have accepted me.
If there was as much reverse discrimination and age discrimination in 1980 as there is today, I doubt that GAO would have hired me or promoted me in 1986 or let me work until I was 49 in 1997.
If there was as much reverse discrimination and age discrimination in 1992 as there is today, I doubt that IIT would have accepted me.
Career-wise, my “Good Old Days” include 1972, 1973, and 1974 when my IRS mentor promoted me to GS-9 (currently $60,840/year), GS-11 (currently $73,611/year), and GS-12 (currently $88,229/year). But then, my Democrat IRS superiors got rid of my mentor and everything went downhill from there. Career-wise, my “Good Old Days” also include 1986, 1987, and 1988 when my GAO mentor got me assigned to audits of IRS and promoted me to GS-13 (currently $104,915/year). But then, my Democrat GAO superiors got rid of my mentor and everything went downhill from there. Education-wise, my “Good Old Days” include 1970 when I earned a bachelor’s degree in management from NIU, 1976 when I earned an MBA from Loyola, 1980 when I earned a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul, and 1997 when I earned a master’s degree in financial markets and trading from IIT. My professional certification and professional license “Good Old Days” include 1979 when I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt and 1981 when I passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt and became a licensed CPA. Real estate-wise, my “Good Old Days” include 1972, 1974, and 1976 when I bought real estate and 1978 and 1984 when my wife and I bought real estate. New car-wise, my “Good Old Days” include 1966, 1967, 1968, 1971, etc. when I bought news cars and 1989 and 1994 when bought collector cars. My greatest “Good Old Days” include every day since I got married in 1978. But were it not for my upbringing, there would not have been any “Good Old Days.”

Nathan L. Gonzales recently wrote “The death of the conservative label. CPAC organizer doesn’t use the c-word any more.” SEE: https://rollcall.com/2022/02/24/the-death-of-the-conservative-label/ S. E. Cupp recently wrote “Conservatism is dead in this GOP. Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend their platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative. It promotes individual responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, enforcement of immigration laws, enforcement of drug laws, Second Amendment rights, and equal opportunity, that is, nor race or gender based preference giving. It opposes the promotion of dependence on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, more gun control, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination.
I should write a book about the success that hate-filled conservative-hating conservative-haters have had in destroying conservativism in America, in Illinois, in DuPage County, in Milton Township, in Wheaton, and in my precinct. I would focus on RINO leaders of Illinois, DuPage County, Milton Township, Wheaton, Wheaton Park District, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce (WCC), Illinois Republican Party, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO), etc.
I would focus on the aforesaid a) who stopped me from raising funds from DuPage County Republicans so that DuPage County Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’s 2021 Independence Day parade and fireworks, b) who promoted LGBTQ big time in downtown Wheaton in 2020, c) who gerrymandered my precinct in 2015, d) who ended my TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairmanship in 2012, e) who ended my WCC Government Affairs Committee membership in 2011, f) who ended my MTRO webmaster service in 2010 and 2004, g) who ended my Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee membership in 2007, h) who tried to get ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in 2006, i) who ended my American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter board membership in 2004, and j) who viciously ended my bid to serve as MTRO Treasurer in 2004.
I would focus on Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct since 2000, their political consultants, major donors, fundraisers, pollsters, campaign managers, campaign staff members, campaign volunteers, etc.
I would focus on the aforesaid who destroy those like me a) who they cannot manipulate or dominate, b) who refuse to glorify and praise them, c) who refuse to pander to them, d) who refuse serve as one of their operatives or dupes, e) who refuse to cover up their wrong doing, and/or f) refuse to give them money.

Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance their platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative. But tragically, ever-increasingly, since at least the 1970s, the Illinois Republican Party (IRP) has been dominated by anti-conservative RINOs who reject the traditional marriage/family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and/or equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks in the Republican Party platform.
I should write a book about the aforesaid anti-conservative RINOs, their operatives, and their dupes. They focus on driving conservatives like me out of the IRP, that is, driving platform Republicans like me out of the IRP as well as the DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO).
I would focus on past and present anti-conservative RINO leaders of the IRP, DuPage County Republican Organization, and MTRO. I would focus on past and present anti-conservative RINO leaders of Illinois, DuPage County, Milton Township, Wheaton, Wheaton’s West District, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Wheaton Downtown Association, and Wheaton Park District.

— What influence do you have? What do you use that influence for? Who has done the most to reduce/end your influence? – Dave Diersen

Tim Hetzner recently wrote “The Power Of Influence.” SEE: https://www.lutheranchurchcharities.org/devotions.html
What influence do you have? I have been a Republican Precinct Committeeman since 1999. I have been the GOPUSA Illinois Editor since 2000. I raised funds from DuPage County Republicans so that DuPage County Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’s Independence Day parades and fireworks 2005-2019. I served as the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman 2005-2012. I served as a Wheaton Chamber of Commerce (WCC) Government Affairs Committee (GAC) member 2003-2011. I served as the Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) webmaster 2008-2010 and 2000-2004. I served as an Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee (SC) member 2003-2007. I served as an American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) Midwest Chapter (MC) board member 2001-2004.
What do you use that influence for? I have always used my influence to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance the Republican Party platform, and especially its traditional marriage/family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks.
Who has done the most to reduce/end your influence? I should write a book about those who have done the most to reduce/end my influence.

— Assuming that I fully recover, a) what should I do with my http://www.gopillinois.com website and b) should I resume spending 10+ hours each and every day putting together GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters and sending them out like I did each and every morning since 2004 and each and every evening since 2015? For now, a) I list the websites on my website that I drew many of the articles from that I posted links to and b) I post articles that I write. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Assuming that I fully recover, in my opinion, the main reasons why I should resume sending out the two newsletters a day ASAP is the fact that a) the June 28 Republican primary is rapidly approaching and b) the Illinois Republican communication void that I filled with those newsletters continues to exist. No one has done what I did. I sent out a newsletter each and every morning and each and every evening with links to articles of interest to Illinois Republicans that were posted on websites during the previous 12 hours. Between 2004 and January 9 of this year, those newsletters included links to 418,528 articles and information on many upcoming events.
Assuming that I fully recover, in my opinion, the main reasons why I should not resume sending out those newsletters is the fact that my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes continue to do everything that they can a) to stop me from sending out the newsletters and b) to stop everyone from reading the newsletters. Further, when my critics/opponents have taken adverse actions against me, far too few of those who read the newsletters have come to my defense. – Dave Diersen

Why GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters are stopped for now – Dave Diersen
— In 2004, I started putting together and sending out GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters each and every morning. In 2015, I started putting together and sending out GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters each and every evening too.
But for the first time, on Monday, January 10, 2022, a major health problem stopped me from doing that. I slipped and fell on ice hitting my head, right ear, and back while retrieving newspapers from my driveway apron early that Monday morning. I was in the intensive care unit at Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) Monday and Tuesday, and in a regular room Wednesday, and I was discharged late that afternoon.
But things went from bad to worse and I was readmitted to CDH on Sunday, January 16, 2022. I was found to have phenomena, a small stroke, and a urinary tract infection. I was subsequently discharged to Marianjoy rehabilition center and then recently discharged from Marianjoy. Then, I was diagnosed with major blood clots in my legs.
I am far from being back on “eight cylinders.” I continue to have severe headaches, severe aches and pains, and major problems standing, sitting, walking, urinating, defecating, sleeping, etc. I have lost almost all my hearing in my right ear. I have lost lots of sleep. All the many medications that I have to take have many severe side effects.
Of course, my goal is to get back on “eight cylinders” ASAP, but my speed of recovery is slow. It may be weeks if not months until I can again spend 10+ hours each and every day putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters together and sending them out. Until then, I focus on keeping http://www.gopillinois.com current and posting more articles on it that I have written.
Of course, many thanks to my outstanding wife and many thanks to those who have phoned me, emailed me, sent me get well cards, sent me flowers, etc.

— Diersen runs for 12th term as DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 Republican Precinct Committeeman in Wheaton – Dave Diersen
This morning, Thursday, February 10, I sent the following letter to the approximate 150 Republican voters in my precinct in their approximate 100 homes:
Dear fellow DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 Republicans:
I have been greatly honored to serve as the DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 Republican Committeeman since 1999. I am running again to serve another 2-year term starting June 28 notwithstanding the fact that I suffered a serious injury to my head and right ear and I have not yet fully recovered. I slipped and fell on ice early Monday January 10 while I was getting the newspapers on my driveway.
My outstanding wife and several of my outstanding fellow Milton Township Republican Precinct Committeemen have volunteered to circulate the nominating petitions so that I can file them on March 7 to be on the June 28 DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 Republican primary ballot. If you might be interested in signing my nominating petition, please phone me at 630-653-0462 or email me at diersen@aol.com ASAP.
I hope to be recovered soon enough so that I can bring to your home a copy of the sample ballot and campaign literature from the candidates as soon as they are available. But if not, I will prepare envelopes with the aforesaid documents and several of my outstanding fellow Milton Township Republican Precinct Committeemen have agreed to deliver them to your home for me. Sadly, this will be the first time that I cannot gather signatures for the candidates for a primary. I have the best record for attending Milton Township Republican Organization meetings and fundraisers since 1999.
For information on which offices and which candidates will be on the ballot, please visit https://illinois.gop/ and https://www.dupagegop.com/ and https://miltongop.org/ .
For information on voter registration, voting by mail, and early voting, please visit https://dupageco.org/election/ or phone the DuPage County Election Division at 630-407-5600.
Of course, please feel free to contact me with any comments or questions that you might have.
Again, I have been greatly honored to serve as your Republican Committeeman. I would greatly appreciate your vote for me on the June 28 Republican primary ballot. I will do everything that I can to help elect those Republican candidates who win the June 28 primary election to also win the November 8 general election.
Thanks again,

— Steering Democrats to precincts – Dave Diersen
From what I see watching home purchases in my precinct since 1984, it ever-increasing looks like Democrat realtors steer home buyers to my precinct who are Democrat, moderate, liberal, LGBTQ, non-Protestant, and/or non-German American. Ever-increasingly, it looks like Democrat realtors stress to potential home buyers a) that ever-increasingly, Democrats get more votes in the precinct, for example, Biden got 269 votes while Trump got only 157, b) that there are LGBTQ-promoting churches immediately north and south of the precinct, c) that the Wheaton Warrenville School District 200 Administration Headquarters is in the precinct, and d) that a grade school and middle school are in the precinct.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: There are lots of websites that compile political news, and I think it’s time I share one that I find quite interesting. It’s at www.gopillinois.com, and, as you can tell by its address, it has a Republican flavor. That is an understatement reinforced with the comments added by the compiler himself — DAVID DIERSEN of Wheaton. He introduced a recent UPI story about Republicans’ views on the drought and wildfires by saying: “Democrats blame everything bad, including bad weather, on Republicans, especially on Republicans who are conservative, White, male, older, non-poor and non-veteran.” And talking of a New York Times article about a photographer arrested while on assignment in the Bronx, Diersen wrote that since 2000, he has been thrown out of, barred from, or not advised of news conferences “by Democrats, Democrat plants, RINOs (Republicans in name only), their operatives, and their dupes.” Thus, if you don’t want to read some very pointed comments, you may not want to go to http://www.gopillinois.com. But you would be missing a treasure of links to the day’s news and opinion. Diersen, 63, is a retired federal employee who became the Illinois editor of a national GOP website in 2000, and since 2004 has put out his own Illinois compilation every day. There’s usually about 50 articles daily, he says. He’s generally up by 3 a.m. He says he spends at least 10 hours a day on this passion of his, with no pay, and has put out links to more than 117,000 articles. As his comments above hinted, party regulars don’t always greet his work with relish. He includes dissident voices within the GOP tent, and some whose credibility is questionable. But he puts it all out there. He’s a GOP precinct committeeman, and he believes in people having information. He also wants to help elect Republican candidates who “will defend and advance the party’s platform.” The site makes available plenty of Diersen history, too, including how his “liberal Democrat superiors,” in his view, forced him to take early retirement at 49 from the U.S. General Accounting Office, “because of his opposition to race and gender based preference and his participation in a class action lawsuit” on that subject. He wouldn’t mind my telling you that he also passed his CPA and Certified Internal Auditor exams on first attempts more than three decades ago. Agree or disagree with him, but Diersen provides a bunch of interesting information — every day.)

— What should motivate Republicans to help elect Republican candidates – Dave Diersen
Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance their platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative. The platform promotes individual responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, enforcement of immigration laws, enforcement of illegal drug laws, defense of Second Amendment rights, and equal opportunity, that is, no race or gender based preference giving. The platform opposes promotion of dependency on government and charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, pot, gambling, booze, and other vices, more gun control laws, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination.
Beyond tragically, ever-increasingly, Republican candidates in Illinois fail/refuse to defend/advance the aforesaid planks in the Republican Party platform. Ever-increasingly, they promote dependency on government and charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, pot, gambling, booze, and other vices, more gun control laws, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination.
Beyond tragically, ever-increasingly, to get votes from Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, Independents, and RINOs, Republican candidates in Illinois hint/imply/argue/shout that they are anti-religious, anti-conservative, and/or anti-Republican.
Beyond tragically, ever-increasingly, Republican candidates in Illinois who reject the aforesaid planks in the Republican Party platform focus on a) getting rid of Republicans like me who support the aforesaid planks and b) getting rid of organizations like TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois and Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) that support the aforesaid planks.

They picked me because I was Republican, draft avoider, conservative, White, male, Protestant, German American, and my ancestors have been in America for a long time. They picked me because I was a union member while I worked for the Post Office 1966-1969 and while I worked for IRS 1971-1980. They picked me because I opposed race and gender based preference giving. They picked me because in 1988, I became the only active member in GAO’s Chicago office in a class action lawsuit that charged reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. They took many adverse actions against me and forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old.

Deloitte is hiring a Forensic Accountant in Chicago. SEE: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/forensic-accountant-at-deloitte-2920575907 . Would Deloitte have hired me If Deloitte had been hiring a Forensic Accountant in 1997 when I was 49 years old after my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to take their early retirement “offer?” If not, why not? I became a Forensic Accountant in 1997 when I was 48 years old. I became a Certified Financial Services Auditor in 1996. I became a Certified Government Financial Manager in 1994, I became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 1990. I became a licensed CPA in 1981. I passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981. I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1997. I earned a master’s degree in financial markets and institutions from IIT in 1997. I earned a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980. I earned an MBA from Loyola in 1976. I worked for GAO 1980-1997, the last 11 years of which at the GS-13 Step 1-10 Levels, currently $104,914-$136,387/year and the last 8 of those years on audits of federal financial regulators. Further, I had worked for IRS 1971-1980, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 Levels, currently $88,229-$99,994/year.
I believe that Deloitte would not have hired me a) because I am a conservative White male Missouri Synod Lutheran German American non-veteran Republican born in 1948, b) because I have always opposed political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination, c) because I became an active member in a class action lawsuit in 1988 that charged my Democrat GAO superiors with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation, and d) because of the many adverse actions that my Democrat GAO, IRS, and Post Office superiors had taken against me.

— What has shaped your views on Blacks – Dave Diersen

All that I can recall about everyone around me concerning Blacks, including my parents, my grandparents, my brother, my relatives, my neighbors, my classmates, my superiors, my supervisors, my coworkers, my subordinates, etc., is compassion for Blacks.
What has shaped your views on Blacks? I had extremely little interaction with Blacks while I attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961, Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962, Crete-Monee High School 1962-1966, UIC 1966-1968, NIU 1969-1970, Loyola 1972-1976, DePaul 1976-1980, Becker CPA Review 1978-1979, Roosevelt 1980-1981, and IIT 1992-1997.
I had extremely little interaction with Blacks while I did yard work and delivered newspapers in Crete 1962-1964. I had little interaction with Blacks while I washed dishes in Chicago Heights 1964-1966; cleaned golf shoes in Flossmoor, chipped slag in South Chicago Heights, and pumped gasoline in South Chicago Heights in 1966; worked on an automobile assembly line and as a security guard in DeKalb in 1970; sold tires, automotive services, and major appliances in Chicago Heights 1970-1971; and pumped gasoline in Chicago Heights 1971-1972. None of my superiors or supervisors were Blacks.
I had some interaction with Blacks while I delivered mail for the Park Forest Post Office 1966-1969. Some of my coworkers were Blacks, but none of my superiors or supervisors were Black. Some of the residences that I delivered mail to were occupied by Blacks.
In 1971, Oldsmobile withdrew a job offer that I had accepted saying that it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. That resulted in a) my Firestone Store boss firing me and b) my accepting a job offer from IRS.
I had lots of interactions with Blacks while I collected delinquent taxes for IRS in Harvey 1972-1973, in Joliet 1973-1974, and in Chicago 1971 and 1973-1980. Many of my coworkers were Blacks and many of the delinquent taxes that I collected were from Blacks. One of my IRS supervisors was Black while I worked in Chicago 1974-1976. He treated me far more fairly than the Asian American supervisor that I had immediately before him.
I had lots of interactions with Blacks while I audited federal agencies for GAO in Chicago 1980-1997. Some of my superiors and supervisors were Black and many of my coworkers and subordinates were Black. In 1997, when I was 49 years old, my Democrat GAO superiors a) forced me to take their early retirement “offer” and b) gave my job and my preferred corner office to my Black subordinate. While I served on the Executive Committee (EC) of the Association of Government Accountants Chicago Chapter 1983-1996, some of my fellow EC members were Black.
I bought a new town home in University Park in 1972. I lived in it full-time 1972-1974 and then weekends 1974-1976. I rented it out 1976-1984 and I sold it in 1984. Of course, that involved interactions with Blacks.

— I have been fighting age discrimination since I was 25 years old in 1973. – Dave Diersen
I have been fighting age discrimination since I was 25 years old in 1974. The Democrats who run the federal government use Affirmative Action, Diversity, Inclusion, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, up-or-out, unfair job assignments, unfair performance expectations, unfair performance appraisals, budget cuts, early outs, etc. to get rid of their employees like me who are Republican, White, male, and/or non-veteran who they fail/refuse to promote to GS-13 (currently $104,915/year) by age 25, GS-14 (currently $123,978/year) by age 30, GS-15 (currently $145,831/year) by age 35, and Senior Executive Service (currently $176,300/year) by age 40. While I made GS-12 (currently $88,229/year) when I was 25 in 1974, my Democrat IRS superiors failed/refused to promote me to GS-13. I did not make GS-13 until I was 38 years old in 1986. My Democrat GAO superiors forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old. Previously, they had given me unfair job assignments, given me unfair performance expectations, given me unfair performance appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $20,901 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980.
Starting when I was 25, I complained about political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination. In 1988, when I was 40 years old, I became the only employee in GAO’s Chicago office who was an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. In 1998, I filed a lawsuit against GAO charging political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation. SEE: https://gopillinois.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/DiersenGAOFifthAmendedComplaint.pdf for the fifth amended complaint filed April 25, 2001. The lawsuit was filed by Annapolis, Maryland Attorney Walter T. Charlton in July of 1998 in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. In April of 2000, it was initially transferred to Judge Robert W. Gettleman in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois as Case No, 00cv2437, and then to Judge Amy St. Eve. Eve granted GAO summary judgement and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit upheld that ruling in 2005.
Tragically for me, far too many Republican elected officials in Illinois have no problem with using Affirmative Action, Diversity, Inclusion, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, up-or-out, unfair job assignments, unfair performance expectations, unfair performance appraisals, budget cuts, early outs, etc. get rid of those like me who they cannot manipulate or dominate, who refuse to glorify and praise them, who refuse to pander to them, who refuse to serve as one of their operatives or dupes, who refuse to cover up their wrongdoing, and/or who refuse to give them money.
Tragically for me, far too many Republican elected officials in Illinois a) reject the equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) plank in the Republican Party platform and b) believe that federal employees who are veterans should receive preference all through their careers and not just for hiring.

How independent are you? He who pays the piper calls the tunes. No one calls my tunes. The following help make me independent. I have a Civil Service Retirement System pension, Social Security, and Medicare for life. My wife has Social Security and Medicare for life. My wife and I have 72% federally subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance for life. We have no debts or dependents. I have retirement savings and my wife has substantial retirement savings. We own 915 Cove Court in Wheaton, eight vehicles, and an Iron Gate Motor Condo in Naperville.
Almost all of the operatives and dupes who work for my critics/opponents have severe financial, health, and/or other problems. I should write a book about my critics/opponents whose operatives and dupes have the most severe financial, health, and/or other problems. I would focus on those who a) stopped me from raising funds from DuPage Republicans so that DuPage Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’s Independence Day parade in fireworks in 2021, b) gerrymandered my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 in 2015, c) endied my TAPROOT chairmanship in 2012, d) ended my Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee membership in 2011, e) ended my MTRO webmaster service in 2010 and 2004, f) ended my ICRC Steering Committee membership in 2007, g) almost got ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in 2006, h) viciously ended my bid to serve as MTRO treasure in 2004, and h) ended my American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter board of directors service in 2004. Government is nasty. Politics is nasty.
I should write a book about my nasty “Republican” critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Cook County who have demonized, denigrated, and condemned me the most by demonizing, denigrating, and condemning my hometown of Crete.
I lived in Crete 1948-1972. My outstanding parents were 100% German-Lutherans who had me baptized as a Missouri Synod Lutheran (MSL) in Trinity Lutheran Church in Crete in 1948. They sent me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961 and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod. They had me confirmed as a MSL at Hope Lutheran Church in 1962 and sent me to Crete-Monee High School 1962-1966. I lived with my parents in their home in Crete and my brother 1954-1972 and a) while I took courses at UIC 1966-1968, b) weekends during my first semester at NIU in 1969, c) the summer of 1969, d) while I worked for the Firestone Store in Chicago Heights 1970-1972, e) while I worked for IRS in Chicago 1971 and for IRS in Harvey in 1972 , and f) while I took graduate business courses at Loyola in 1972.
My nasty “Republican” critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Cook County hinted/implied/argued/shouted that while I lived in Crete 1948-1972, Crete was full of disgusting German-MSLs who were White supremacists, Nazis, KKK members, haters, racists, sexists, bigots, and even worse things.

According to my critics/opponents who have been Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct since 2000, I should be grateful that they LET ME HELP ELECT THEM. They hint/imply/argue/shout that my efforts to help elect them (getting signatures on nominating petitions, getting campaign sign locations, delivering their campaign literature, promoting their fundraisers, organizing Republican support for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks, etc.) COST THEM MANY VOTES a) BECAUSE I am “too conservative,” b) BECAUSE I support the traditional marriage/family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks in the Republican Party platform, c) BECAUSE I have included links to articles in GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters that they do not like, and d) BECAUSE I have sued powerful vengeful people in DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton who have lots of religious, financial, government, and/or political clout, and e) BECAUSE my demographics are terrible – conservative, Republican, White, male, old (born in 1948), draft avoider, heterosexual, married, childless, non-poor, gun owner, Christian, Protestant, 100% German American, my ancestors have been in America since 1844, federal employee for almost 30 years, retired federal employee for more than 24 years, DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton resident only since 1978, not interested in sports, non-dog owner, American nameplate vehicle owner, etc.

— My qualifications to serve as a fact checker – Dave Diersen
While I worked for the Democrats who ran GAO 1980-1997, the last 11 years of which at GS-13 Step 1-10 levels, currently $104,915-$136,387/year, I increasingly worked as a referencer, that is, as a fact-checker. That work required assuring the accuracy and support for each and every word, number, table, graph, chart, conclusion, opinion, and recommendation in GAO reports. In addition, I worked for IRS 1971-1980, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $88, 229-$99,994/year. My other fact-checking qualifications include my becoming a Forensic Accountant in 1997, Certified Financial Services Auditor in 1996, Certified Government Financial Manager in 1994, Certified Fraud Examiner in 1990, licensed CPA in 1981, Certified Internal Auditor in 1981, and CPA in 1979.

— College material – Dave Diersen
When you were in grade school and in high school, were you viewed as being “college material?” I was not. Neither of my outstanding parents attended college. My father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma. My mother never attended high school. I just barely made it into the upper 20% of my high school class. My ACT score was only 24. I washed dishes for the minimum wage during my junior and senior years and the summer in between. Never-the-less, UIC accepted me.

— Money Magazine – Dave Diersen
In its February 1978 issue, Money Magazine published a 4-page article about me and my future wife. The article reads like Money Magazine took advice from my Democrat IRS superiors on how to a) foist negative government stereotypes on me, b) paint me as being grossly overpaid, and c) paint my education deductions as being improper. The article hints/implies/argues/shouts that the graduate business courses that I took at Loyola 1972-1976 and the graduate accounting courses that I took at DePaul 1976-1980 a) did not relate to my job duties, b) did not maintain or improve my job skills, c) were taken by me to get a job in the private sector, d) were taken by me to qualify me for a “new trade or business,” and e) were a distraction. Money Magazine and IRS would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran. In its article on me, Money Magazine called the studio condo that I bought in downtown Chicago in 1974 my pied-a-terre. In fact, I bought the condo for three reasons. First, so that I could walk to work at my new IRS job in the Loop. Second, so that I could walk to graduate business classes at Loyola. And third, I could not sell my University Park town home without suffering a big loss. Of course, ever since the article was published, all my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have used everything in it that they could against me. I should have sued Money Magazine.

— Why might make your critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes work less hard against you in the future? – Dave Diersen
My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes might work less hard against me in the future because they have already a) stopped me from raising funds from DuPage Republicans so that DuPage Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’s Independence Day parade in fireworks in 2021, b) gerrymandered my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 in 2015, c) ended my TAPROOT chairmanship in 2012, d) ended my Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee membership in 2011, e) ended my Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) webmaster service in 2010 and 2004, f) ended my Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee membership in 2007, g) almost got ICRC to censure me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters in 2006, h) viciously ended my bid to serve as MTRO treasure in 2004, and h) ended my American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter board of directors service in 2004. Further, because of my January 10 fall, I might never again be able to send out GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters each and every morning and each and every evening.

I served as the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman 2005-2012 and as an Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee (SC) member 2003-2007. If I was still the TAPROOT chairman and if I was still an ICRC SC member, those organizations would be hosting candidate forums. Those who ended my TAPROOT chairmanship viciously disapproved of, if not hated those who I invited to speak at TAPROOT events a) because they were “too conservative” and b) because they could not manipulate or dominate them, they refused to glorify and praise them, they refused to pander to them, they refused to serve as one of their operatives or dupes, they refused to cover up their wrong doing, and/or they refused to give them money. I should write a book about those who took the lead in ending my TAPROOT chairmanship and my ICRC SC membership.

We would also disclose that the home’s exterior footing tiles were improperly laid at its southeast corner. However, we would also disclose that the builder installed steel reinforcement in the foundation walls and interior footing tiles to compensate for that. We would also fully disclose that long wide cracks formed in the basement floor immediately after it was poured because it was not adequately protected from freezing temperatures. However, we would also disclose that we sealed those cracks and paid the builder to have all the home’s downspouts directly connected to the city storm sewer system. Further, we would also disclose the many expensive and time-consuming lot drainage improvements that we made to keep surface and subsurface storm water away from the home’s foundation.

My wife and I are very happy with our 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS which has been our daily driver since I bought it from my aunt in 2010. But I am giving lots of thought to what its replacement should be if we lose use of it. I only buy American-nameplate vehicles. I prefer buying new vehicles. My wife and I prefer our daily driver to be a smaller vehicle. It would sit outside because our garage is full and my wife does not like driving in garages and backing out of garages. I am considering a new loaded Ford EcoSport and a new loaded Chevrolet Trax. Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
Our daily driver was a 1990 Ford Thunderbird LX 2004-2010, 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier 1996-2004, 1990 Ford Thunderbird LX 1994-1996, 1994 Ford Thunderbird during 1994, and 1978 Chevrolet Chevette 1978-1994. My daily driver was a 1962 Chevrolet BelAir 1971-1978, 1974 Dodge Dart 1973-1974, 1969 Dodge Charger SE 1968-1971, 1968 Oldsmobile 442 1967-1968, 1966 Pontiac Tempest Sprint 1966-1967, and 1958 Chevrolet BelAir 1964-1966.

What life-changing decisions have you made?
In 1964, I decided to and I subsequently did earn a college degree. I started taking college-preparatory courses at Crete-Monee High School.
In 1964, I decided to and I did get accepted by UIC in 1966 because I could afford to attend UIC. My parents could provide me with room and board in their home in Crete while I took courses at UIC. I graduated in the upper 20% of my class in 1966 and scored 24 on the ACT.
In 1964, I decided to and I did pay for my college expenses by working part-time jobs. I washing dishes for the minimum wage in the basement of the S.S. Kresges in Chicago Heights 1964-1966. I cleaned golf shoes, chipped slag, and pumped gasoline in 1966. I delivered mail in Park Forest 1966-1969 and I was a union member. I worked on an automobile assembly line and as a security guard in 1970.
In 1964, I decided to and I did buy a 1958 Chevrolet BelAir to get to/from school and work. In 1966, I bought a new Pontiac Tempest Sprint. In 1967, I bought a new 1968 Oldsmobile 442. In 1968, I bought a new 1969 Dodge Charger SE. In 1971, I bought a 1962 Chevrolet BelAir after the Charger was stolen in Chicago. In 1971, I bought a new 1972 Corvette. In 1973, I bought a new 1974 Dodge Dart after the 1962 BelAir was stolen in Chicago. In 1978, I bought a new 1978 Chevrolet Chevette and a new 1978 Oldsmobile Deltra 88 Royale.
In 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969, I decided to and I did apply for and I got student draft deferments.
In 1969, I decided to and I did transfer from UIC to NIU.
In 1970, I decided to and I did apply for and I got a financial hardship draft deferment in 1971 because my father had died suddenly in 1969.
In 1970, I decided to and I did complete the requirements for bachelor’s degree in management from NIU.
In 1970, I decided to and I did accept a job offer from Firestone Stores to be its Retail Sales Manager in its Chicago Heights store.
In 1971, I decided to and I did accept a job offer from Oldsmobile and I gave my Firestone store boss my 2-week notice. My Firestone store boss rudely immediately fired me for accepting that job offer. But then Oldsmobile withdrew its job offer saying that it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint.
In 1971, I decided to and I did accept a job offer from IRS to be a GS-7 Revenue Officer and to be a union member.
In 1971, I decided to and I did buy a new 1972 Chevrolet Corvette because my 1969 Dodge Charger SE had been stolen in Chicago.
In 1972, I decided to and I did request IRS to assign me to its Harvey office so that I could live with my mother and brother in Crete.
In 1972, I decided to and I did start taking graduate business courses at Loyola. IRS encouraged its Revenue Officers to take such courses.
In 1972, I decided to and I did buy a new town home in University Park.
In 1974, I decided to and I did claim partial day per diem from IRS because IRS had assigned me to its Joliet office, but it temporarily assigned me to its Loop office. My Democrat IRS superiors disallowed those claims to get rid of me.
In 1974, I decided to and I did buy a studio condo in downtown Chicago so that I could walk to work and walk to classes at Loyola.
In 1975, I decided to and I did start complaining about IRS’s promoting my Democrat minority and/or female coworkers over me who had less job-related work experience and/or who had less job-related education than I had.
In 1976, I decided to and I did complete the requirements for an MBA from Loyola.
In 1976, I decided to and I did buy a one bedroom condo in downtown Chicago so that I could a) walk to work and walk to graduate accounting courses at DePaul and b) rent out my University Park town home.
