Ever-increasingly, Democrats hint/imply/argue/shout that if you are a Republican, the longer that your ancestors have been in America, the more reparations that you should pay. When did your ancestor come to America? Mine came during the 1840s and 1850s. What were they doing in 1919? On my father’s side, they were operating Crete’s only hardware store. WLS AM
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Trump-haters shout that “Pete Buttigieg calls Vice President Pence a cheerleader for the porn star presidency.” Government is nasty. Politics is nasty. Are you a member of a church? Do you attend church services? Do you give money to a church? I should write a book about Diersen-haters who demonize me, who denigrate me, and who condemn me a) because I am not a member of any church, b) because I do not attend church services, c) because I do not give money to a church, and d) because I put GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails together and send them out Sundays mornings instead of attending church services. In the book, I would focus on Diersen-haters, their operatives, and their dupes in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois. They blame me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails for their problems, for your problems, for my problems, for everyone’s problems, and for all the losses that Republican candidates have suffered in Illinois since 2000.
http://www.wlsam.com/news/pete-buttigieg-calls-vice-president-pence-a-cheerleader-for-the-porn-star-presidency/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg lambasted Mike Pence — a man he used to work directly with during Pence’s time as governor of Indiana — calling the vice president a “cheerleader for the porn star presidency” on Sunday at CNN’s town hall. Buttigieg went on to question Pence’s faith, asking rhetorically whether Pence stopped “believing in scripture when he started believing Donald Trump.” “How would he allow himself to become the cheerleader for the porn star presidency? Is it that he stopped believing in scripture when he started believing Donald Trump?” Buttigieg said. “I don’t know. I don’t know.”)

In 1997, I had worked for GAO for almost 18 years and for IRS for almost 9 years before that. I earned a) a job-related bachelor’s degree when I was 21 in 1970 and job-related master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, b) job-related professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 47, and 48, and c) a job-related professional license when I was 32.)

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/2019/03/07/heres-how-help-people-who-have-kids-arent-rich-run-congress/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Name someone in Congress who used to be a hotel housekeeper. Or a factory worker. Or a fast-food worker. Or an ironworker, receptionist or Walmart cashier. If examples aren’t coming to mind, there’s a good reason. People from working-class occupations — manual labor, service industry work, clerical jobs — seldom go on to hold elected political office in the United States. Working-class jobs make up more than half of the U.S. labor force. But according to my research, in most years since the start of the 20th century, there haven’t been more than a dozen members of Congress with significant experience doing the kinds of jobs most Americans punch in for every day. (The figures are probably similar for the 19th century, but the data is less reliable.) When the New York Times recently took stock of the career backgrounds of members of the 116th House, the newspaper identified a few “narrow but well-trodden paths through prestigious schools, lucrative jobs and local political offices.” The analysis found 12 Democrats and four Republicans who had ever held working-class jobs. In short, white-collar government is an enduring, and bipartisan, feature of U.S. politics.)
