FOX NEWS CHICAGO
— Trump urges Illinoisans to remove Kinzinger over impeachment vote – Mike Flannery
(DIERSEN: Who urges you to be removed from what and why? I should write a book about those who urged a) TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois to remove me as its chairmen in 2012, b) Wheaton Chamber of Commerce to remove me as a member of its Government Affairs Committee in 2011, c) Milton Township Republican Organization to remove me as its webmaster in 2010 and 2004, d) Illinois Center Right Coalition to remove me as a member of its Steering Committee in 2007,e) American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter to remove me as one of its board members in 2004, and f) GAO to remove me as one of its employees in 1997. I would focus on those who have urged the Republican voters in my precinct to remove me their precinct committeeman since 1999. I would focus on those who have urged everyone to remove me as the GOPUSA Illinois Editor since 2000. I would focus on Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct since 2000 who have blamed me for their defeats, their major donors, their political consultants, their campaign managers, their campaign staff members, and their campaign volunteers. I would focus on those who I have sued.)

Every Chicago Public Schools student is eligible and will automatically receive the benefits in the mail. Hundreds of thousands of students in other districts will qualify as well. – Nader Issa
(DIERSEN: How rich were your parents when you were young? Since 1953, my critics/opponents have painted me as being filthy rich because my father made enough money to send me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961 and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod. He worked in the office of a nasty chemical plant in Chicago Heights. Neither of my outstanding parents attended college. My father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma. He almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. He did not buy a new car until he was 45 in 1967 and it was a bottom of the line 2-door Chevy. He died suddenly of heart failure in 1969. My mother never attended high school.)

TOWNHALL
— The One Wing of the GOP That Keeps Embarrassing Itself Over Trump – Matt Vespa
(DIERSEN: How much clout do hate-filled Trump-haters have in a) the Illinois Republican Party (IRP), b) your Republican county party organization, and c) your Republican township/ward party organization? GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletter readers will be watching closely to see how successful hate-filled Trump-hating Trump-haters in the IRP, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Milton Township Republican Organization will have in a) getting me to stop sending out my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters and b) getting everyone to stop reading those newsletters. What do you say to Republican candidates on the April 6, 2021 ballot for my precinct, their major donors, their political consultants, their campaign managers, their campaign staff members, and their campaign volunteers who act like they do not want me to help elect them?)
https://townhall.com/columnists/mattvespa/2021/03/02/the-one-wing-of-the-gop-that-keeps-embarrassing-itself-over-trump-n2585546
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The Trump wing won. It still amuses me to no end how some within the GOP and the media thinks there’s some debate about the future of the party going on. It’s a false narrative. In 2016, yes, there was a war. It was called the Republican primaries and Donald Trump emerged on top. Since then, the base has changed. The party has changed, and the people who simply don’t get it are Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and a few other losers who will never be elected president let alone clinch ten delegates in the GOP primaries. If you’re that weak, you can’t talk about shaping the party. It circles back to the simple question of what these few, very few, anti-Trumpers have to fear from Trumpism? Who’s afraid of Donald Trump that isn’t an unhinged progressive?)

(DIERSEN: I could afford a) paying for tuition and books at UIC 1966-1968, b) paying for tuition, books, and room and board at NIU 1969 -1970, c) paying for a 1958 Chevy BelAir in 1964, a new 1966 Pontiac Tempest Sprint in 1966, a new 1968 Oldsmobile 442 in 1967, and a new 1969 Dodge Charger SE in 1968, and d) graduating debt-free from NIU in 1970 a) because of the money that I earned doing yard work and delivering newspapers 1962-1964; washing dishes 1964-1966; cleaning golf shoes, chipping slag, and pumping gasoline in 1966; delivering mail 1966-1969; and working on an automobile assembly line and as a security guard in 1970 and b) because my parents provided me with room and board in their home in Crete 1966-1968, weekends during my first semester at NIU in 1969, and the summer of 1969.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Community college students often have children and part- or full-time jobs. Food and housing insecurity routinely derails them. And those challenges have been exacerbated by the public health and economic crisis. “For a lot of students, going to college is not possible if they don’t have access to child care, transportation,” Carmel Martin, deputy director for economic mobility on the White House Domestic Policy Council, said in an interview. “We need to ensure they can afford the tuition but also that they have the support to be successful and complete their program.” Community colleges often get less public funding than four-year colleges and universities. During his campaign, Biden proposed grants for colleges that enroll a high proportion of students from low-income families — an initiative akin to the anti-poverty Title I program for public schools. Biden has also called for more federal spending on workforce training, another idea that could boost community colleges.)

FORBES
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Hate-filled Trump-hating Trump-haters crow about their success in getting Wheaton College a) to promote hatred against Trump and b) to promote hatred against those who do not hate Trump.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeltnietzel/2021/03/01/these-christian-colleges-are-taking-on-todays-hot-button-social-issues/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: No recent example illustrates the willingness of CCCU colleges to speak out about political affairs and challenge the positions espoused by many evangelicals better than the recent statement signed by hundreds of staff and faculty at Wheaton College, rebuking former President Donald Trump for his role in the violent riot at the nation’s capital on January 6. (Full disclosure: I’m an alum of Wheaton.) The statement criticized President Trump for what it called “wicked leadership.” “The January 6 attack on the Capitol was characterized not only by vicious lies, deplorable violence, white supremacy, white nationalism, and wicked leadership—especially by President Trump—but also by idolatrous and blasphemous abuses of Christian symbols. The behaviors that many participants celebrated in Jesus’ name bear absolutely no resemblance to the Christian teachings or ethics that we submit to as faculty and staff of Wheaton College. Furthermore, the differential treatment displayed by those with a duty to protect in their engagement with rioters who trespassed on the Capitol grounds illegally, when compared to recent protests over police brutality in D.C. last summer, illustrates the ongoing reality that systemic racism in our country is tragically and undeniably alive and well. These realities are reprehensible. Our Christian faith demands shining a light on these evils and the simultaneous commitment to take appropriate action.” Nor was this the first time Wheaton faculty had sharply objected to Trump and the role of Evangelical leaders who have championed his policies. Ed Stetzer, Executive Director of Wheaton’s Billy Graham Center, called for a “reckoning” on Trump in a recent NPR interview with Rachel Martin. Responding to one question, Stetzer said, “I’ve been one for years who was saying we need to see more clearly who Donald Trump is and has often not been listened to. But I would say that for many people, the storming of the Capitol, the desecration of our halls of democracy, has shocked and stunned a lot of people and how President Trump has engaged in riling up crowds to accomplish these things.”)
