CHICAGO TRIBUNE
— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD WITH BIG COLOR PICTURE IN THE NAPERVILLE SUN: Naperville: Local reaction to Trump election runs gamut from ‘scary’ to ‘thrilling’ – Suzanne Baker, Erin Hegarty, Hannah Leone and Denise Crosby
http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/naperville-sun/ct-nvs-local-react-presidential-election-st-1111-20161110-story.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: System need ‘a jolt’  Peter LaBarbera is thrilled by the outcome of Tuesday’s election. “This is a repudiation of the elitism that has come to surround the Democrats,” said the Naperville man, who is president of Americans For Truth and a conservative critic of equal rights based on sexual orientation. LaBarbera said he wouldn’t call himself a Trump supporter — he voted for Ted Cruz in the primary. But it was Hillary Clinton’s stance on abortion and homosexuality that was in opposition to his faith, he said. “Hillary Clinton would have threatened liberty itself,” he said. “People have to stand by what they believe.” He also said Trump was brilliant tapping into the anger and frustration of “the forgotten man” and “average Joe.” “They felt government did not speak for them. That includes the Clintons, or the Bushes for that matter,” LaBarbera said. As a result, he said, the pundits, media and Democrats were shocked by the strength of Trump’s momentum. LaBarbera also said Republican friends who initially said they would never vote for Trump changed their minds at the last minute. “I do think this is a huge shift,” which LaBarbera described as almost “Reagan-esque,” referring to the president’s election in 1980. “The system did need a jolt,” he said. “We are going to have to wait and see what a united government will produce.”)

https://gopillinois.com/documents/) while Bush, Hastert, Fitzgerald, and Hyde were in office, the Democrats and RINOs who run the federal government can hint/imply/argue/shout that Bush, Hastert, Fitzgerald, and Hyde favor political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.  But my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes hint/imply/argue/shout that Bush, Hastert, Fitzgerald, and Hyde believed that GAO was justified in wasting my career and forcing me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old.)

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2016/11/10/police-investigate-a-video-of-trump-voter-being-attacked/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: **Warning: This video contains explicit language and violence. Viewer discretion is advised.** Police are investigating the beating of a man in the North Lawndale neighborhood by a group who yelled that the victim “voted for Trump.”  Police said it was unclear what motivated the attack, the day after Donald Trump won the presidential election, saying it started after a traffic altercation. It was not immediately clear if the man was a Trump supporter. Video of the attack was posted Wednesday on YouTube. It shows a man being beaten by a group of people while his car sits in the middle of an intersection. A person recording the video can be heard saying, “You voted Trump. You voted Trump.”  The Chicago Tribune reports, that the man, David Wilcox, said he voted for Trump but no one in the crowd would have known. Police said a 50-year-old man was attacked and beaten by three males and two females at the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Kedzie Avenue. One of the attackers stole his car and fled the scene, according to police. In the video, the victim appeared to try to get back into his car as he was being attacked, and tried to pull one of the assailants out of his car. Other attackers continued to the beat him, and appeared to steal some belongings that fell out of his hands and pockets. A longer version of the video was posted on Twitter, with profanity-laden music laid over the audio. In that longer version, the victim is seen being dragged off, while hanging on to the driver’s side of the car.   “This is unacceptable and must be condemned by everybody,” said Rev. Michael Pfleger, in response to the video. “Violence is never an acceptable response. Emotions are raw coming out of this election, but frustration, anger and despair do not give permission to be violent.” Chicago police said the victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition. No one was in custody Thursday morning. Area North detectives were investigating.)

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/nov/10/trump-and-clinton-voters-showed-wide-gap-in-views-/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The nation’s pollsters are still dithering over errors they made in election predictions. Maybe it is a teachable moment. Maybe not. Meanwhile, there are  new findings which reveal “fundamental differences” between voters who favor President-elect Donald Trump, and those who side with Hillary Clinton. They are stark and telling. A huge majority of the Trump voters, for example, describe themselves as “typical Americans”. The Clinton voters? Not so much. “Even beyond the political and ideological divides between Trump and Clinton supporters, the two cohorts showed striking differences in how they describe themselves, both in terms of attributes, lifestyle and personal affiliations. The survey asked respondents to check each description that applied to them,” reports a new Pew Research Center poll. “Notably, the widest gap in views between Trump and Clinton supporters was over whether the term ‘traditional’ described them. About 7-in-10 Trump voters said it did (72 percent), compared with just 31 percent of Clinton voters,” the pollster notes. Find more numbers in the Poll du Jour at column’s end.)
