Because of that, I started taking graduate evening courses in finance at IIT in 1992, and after completing 16 courses, earned a master’s degree in financial markets and trading IIT in 1997. Even though all the courses were directly job-related and I had gotten her appointed to serve on the program’s board of advisers, she treated those courses as being worthless. Further, in September of 1997, she took the lead in successfully forcing me to take GAO’s early retirement “offer” and gave my job and my preferred corner office to my Black subordinate who had shunned the program. She would not have done the aforesaid if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, younger, or veteran. She would not have done aforesaid if I had not been the office’s only active member in a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.)
