CHICAGO TRIBUNE
— OUTSTANDING: Clarendon Hills votes to prohibit marijuana-related businesses – CHUCK FIELDMAN
https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/clarendon-hills/ct-dch-marijuana-vote-tl-1024-20191022-7xparwab4jhjnhb7hheas52lgi-story.html
— Parents of ex-Northwestern student plead guilty in college admissions scandal – DAWN RHODES and KATHERINE ROSENBERG-DOUGLAS (DIERSEN: According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, your college degree is worthless unless you got it from an Ivy League university.)
https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-college-admissions-scandal-northwestern-guilty-plea-20191022-wop5xa7udzhb7ouwrzeotrvyq4-story.html
— Most teachers in CPS strike never benefit from pensions that strangle the system — and taxpayers. There’s a better way. – DANIEL DISALVO (DIERSEN: To get a full Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) pension, federal employees have to be 55 and have at least 30 years of federal service. In 1997, when I was 49 years old, my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to take their early retirement “offer” and suffer a major reduction of my pension.)
https://www.chicagotribune.com/opinion/commentary/ct-opinion-chicago-teacher-pensions-vesting-strike-20191023-20191022-pvsekkyczjctpdnkmb3rvhe5ki-story.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: On average, to earn a full pension, a teacher must remain in the same state or district for 25 years — a condition that less than half of teachers nationally will meet. In Illinois, where the vesting period for the pension system is 10 years of employment, only half of new teachers will ever vest in the system. And only 1 out of 5 teachers in Illinois will ever break even from their pension plan. Everyone else either quits teaching or changes school districts before earning a full pension, often walking away with less than they contributed to the system.)
— Jews increasingly see discrimination and danger in U.S. culture. The rest of America must listen. – DANIEL ELBAUM (DIERSEN: I should write a book about my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates in the federal government who constantly reminded my many Jewish superiors and supervisors a) that I was 100% German national origin, b) that I was baptized, raised, and confirmed as a Missouri Synod Lutheran, and c) that I was raised in Crete.)

— You’re tired, I’m tired, we’re all exhausted. Thanks, Washington. – DONNA VICKROY (DIERSEN: According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, you will be much happier if you do not read GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails, and instead, drink booze, gamble, and smoke pot.)
https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/daily-southtown/ct-sta-vickroy-exhausted-st-1021-20191021-p6kxjg7k7zbeljlm3ykp2rzc5q-story.html

DAILY HERALD
— U.S. in moral decline – Walter E. Williams (DIERSEN: Ever-increasingly, Democrats and Democrat plants, Libertarians and Libertarian plants, Greens and Green plants, and RINOs promote dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, retaliation, and even worse things.)

SPRINGFIELD STATE JOURNAL REGISTER
— Safety nonprofit urges employers to ban marijuana use for those in sensitive jobs – Lisa Schencker (DIERSEN: Those who use pot should be banned from a) selling pot, b) driving any kind vehicle, c) operating any kind of equipment, d) holding any kind of government or political office, e) etc.)
https://www.sj-r.com/news/20191022/safety-nonprofit-urges-employers-to-ban-marijuana-use-for-those-in-sensitive-jobs
(DIERSEN: The group said research has shown that cannabis can affect psychomotor skills and cognitive ability. Safety sensitive positions might include workers in health care, transportation, law enforcement or those who work with certain chemicals, said Jane Terry, vice president of government affairs for the council. Currently, there is no physical test for impairment due to marijuana, making any amount of use by workers in those jobs inadvisable, Terry said. “Do you want those types of individuals to be in a position where maybe you can’t tell if they’re impaired or not?” Terry asked. “We hope this position will give some guidance to employers and really give some idea of how to think about this to policymakers as well.”)

OAK PARK
— Oak Park trustee feels heat over radio spot Community members slam Moroney at Monday’s village board meeting – Stacey Sheridan (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois. They blacklist me and blacklist all individuals, organizations, companies, and governments that do not blacklist me. I should write a book about my critics/opponents and the many millions of individuals, organizations, companies, and governments that they blacklist.)
https://www.oakpark.com/News/Articles/10-22-2019/Oak-Park-trustee-feels-heat-over-radio-spot/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Oak Park trustee Dan Moroney faced community ire over his recent appearance on “Morning Answer with Dan Proft & Amy Jacobson,” a right-wing radio show (WIND-AM) where he discussed fellow Trustee Susan Buchanan’s recent board meeting rant, which caused Buchanan to become a target of vitriolic internet harassment. In front of a packed board room, 18 people addressed the board — Moroney in particular — in non-agenda public comments at the Oct. 21 meeting. Only one comment was made in his defense. Many called on Moroney to resign, while others demanded he apologize for appearing on the show and further stoking the national attention Buchanan’s outburst generated.)

— “I run a couple of newspapers. What do you do?” (DIERSEN: I spend 10+ hours each and every day putting together and sending out a GOPUSA ILLINOIS email each and every morning and each and every evening. Since 2004, those emails have included links to more than 348,600 articles and information on many upcoming events. I should write a book about past and present Illinois Republican Party (IRP), DuPage County Republican Central Committee, Milton Township Republican Central Committee (MTRCC), etc. leaders who a) discourage me from sending those emails out and b) discourage everyone from reading those emails. They a) reject planks in the Republican Party platform and/or the IRP platform and work against those like me who support those planks, b) reject the MTRCC resolution against video gambling and work against those like me who support that resolution, c) focus on destroying those like me who they cannot manipulate/dominate, d) were defendants in lawsuits that I have filed, and/or e) are operatives or dupes for the aforesaid.)
