Sooner or later, anti-Republicans will force all children in America to speak, read, and write Spanish.)

— To Take on the Religious Right, We Need a Religious Left My faith shapes my progressive politics. I wish this were true of more liberals. – Bianca Vivion Brooks (DIERSEN: I should write a book about activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois who claim to be religious and have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout, but who fail/refuse to speak out against Democrat efforts to promote dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, retaliation, and even worse things.)

— What Happens if SAT Scores Consider Adversity? Find Your School The Wall Street Journal obtained the list, and it offers a glimpse of the effects on test scores – Douglas Belkin (DIERSEN: What might have increased your adversity score? For me, it might have included that a) neither of my outstanding parents attended college, b) my father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma, c) my mother never attended high school, and d) I washed dishes for the minimum wage 24 hours a week during my junior and senior years in high school and 40 hours a week during the summer in between. Further, when I was in high school, I was not viewed as being “college material.” I just barely made into the upper 20% of my class. My ACT score was only 24. I was 1-A for draft notwithstanding the fact that my eyesight could not be corrected to 20/20, I had partial red/green color blindness, and I had Osgood-Schlatter disease ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osgood%E2%80%93Schlatter_disease ).)

REPRESENTATIVE ERIC SWALWELL, [D-CA-15]
— H.R.1684 – Journalist Protection Act (DIERSEN: I should write a book about those who hint/imply/argue/shout that I am not a journalist.)
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/1684/text
(FROM THE BILL: “(2) JOURNALIST.—The term ‘journalist’ means an individual who— “(A) is an employee, independent contractor, or agent of an entity or service that disseminates news or information— “(i) by means of a newspaper, nonfiction book, wire service, news agency, news website, mobile application or other news or information service (whether distributed digitally or otherwise), news program, magazine, or other periodical (whether in print, electronic, or other format); or “(ii) through a television broadcast, radio broadcast, multichannel video programming distributor (as defined in section 602 of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 522)), or motion picture for public showing; and “(B) engages in newsgathering with the primary intent to investigate an event or procure material in order to disseminate to the public news or information concerning a local, national, or international event or other matter of public interest. “(3) NEWSGATHERING.—The term ‘newsgathering’ means engaging in regular gathering, preparation, collection, photographing, recording, writing, editing, reporting, or publishing concerning a local, national, or international event or other matter of public interest.)

LADDERS
— What NOT to talk about in a job interview (political affiliation) – Christina Brennan (DIERSEN: If I had been active in Republican politics a) the Post Office would NOT have offered me a job in 1966, b) IRS would NOT have offered me a job in 1971 or promoted me in 1972, 1973, or 1974, and c) GAO would NOT have offered me a job in 1980 or promoted me in 1986. Further, because they view me as being “too conservative” and as NOT being a yes-man, when Republicans ran Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois, they would NOT have offered me a job either.)
https://www.theladders.com/career-advice/what-not-to-talk-about-in-a-job-interview
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Political affiliation Being politically engaged is very important. Unless you’re in politics or your primary volunteer experience is related, stay away from discussing your beliefs or affiliations. If you do have professional or volunteer experience, be sure to focus on the outcomes and lessons you learned that can be applied in the role you’re interviewing for, rather than advocating for a politician, party or issue.)
— What NOT to talk about in a job interview (family plans) – Christina Brennan (DIERSEN: Government is nasty, politics is nasty, Democrats are nasty. My Democrat GAO superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates knew from Money Magazine’s February 1978 4-page article on my wife and I that we planned to have children. After my wife and I gave up trying to have children, after we did not adopt, and after we did not become foster parents, they hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I had lied about our family plans and that I should be punished severely for that. While virtually all of my coworkers viewed travel assignments positively and requested travel assignments, I had not requested travel assignments because my wife and I were trying to start a family. In 1989, to punish me for giving up trying to start a family, my Democrat GAO superiors threw me off audits of IRS and assigned me a 6-month travel assignment in Rock Island.)
https://www.theladders.com/career-advice/what-not-to-talk-about-in-a-job-interview
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Family plans While pregnancy or parenthood discrimination is illegal and interviewers can’t ask if you’re in a relationship or have kids, you may still find yourself weaving these personal details into a story or talking about your future. Unfortunately, expressing future family plans can still create red flags, especially for women.)

DAILY MAIL
— AUGUST 20, 2018 FLASHBACK: Chinese scholar proposes ‘no child tax’ on childless citizens to encourage couples to have more babies – KELSEY CHENG (DIERSEN: Virtually all my Democrat superiors in the federal government were married and a) had children and/or b) had a spouse who had little or no income. Virtually all of them were anti-DINK (dual income, no kids). Prior to 1978 when I got married, they were furious that I did not have a spouse or children to support like they did. After 1978, they were even more furious that my wife had a good job, we gave up trying to have children, we did not adopt, and we did not become foster parents.)
