In 1971, when I was 22 years old, Oldsmobile withdrew a job offer that I had accepted saying that it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. In 1997, when I was 49 years old, GAO forced me to take its early retirement “offer” and gave my job and my preferred corner office to my Black subordinate.

— Vietnam vets commemorate Chicago’s 1986 ‘Welcome Home’ parade in new book – Jeff Banowetz (COMMENT: Politics is nasty/vicious. During the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, subordinates, and others used my avoiding the Vietnam War draft against me big time. I should write a book about that. They hinted/implied/argued/shouted that because I was a Republican, my avoiding the draft proved that I was a hypocrite, a coward, and even worse things. They stressed that because I avoided the draft, I was unfairly able to a) buy a new 1968 Oldsmobile 442 in 1967, b) buy an new Dodge Charger SE in 1968, c) graduate debt-free from NIU in 1970 owning that Charger, d) buy a new Corvette in 1971, e) buy a new town home in 1972, f) buy a studio condo in downtown Chicago in 1974, f) earn an MBA from Loyola in 1976, g) buy a buy a one bedroom condo in downtown Chicago in 1976, h) get married in 1978, i) buy a home in Wheaton with my wife in 1978, j) buy a new 1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale and a new 1978 Chevette in 1978, k) pass the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, l) earn a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980, m) pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, n) become a licensed CPA in 1981, o) etc.)
— For interim Chicago police Superintendent Fred Waller, stepping in to help new mayor pays off in salary-pension double dip – Sam Charles and John Byrne (COMMENT: Since 1966, when I was 18 years old and started working part-time for the Park Forest Post Office, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have been furious that I got full-time credit toward my Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) pension for the almost 3 years that I worked for the Post Office even though I worked only part-time. The Democrat GAO manager who led the Democrat effort to waste my GAO career and to force me into early retirement crowed that he succeeded in getting Congress to end that retirement benefit. Now, if you work part-time, your CSRS credit is prorated based on the hours that you worked. I worked only about 860 hours during those 34 months, but I got credit for working 1,380 hours.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A Tribune analysis found that Waller, who retired in 2020 after 34 years with the department, will be paid more than $82,000 for helming the CPD in the early months of the Johnson administration. That figure is a combination of Waller’s prorated city salary — $260,004, the same as former Superintendent David Brown’s — and his monthly pension payments of more than $12,000 that kicked in upon his original exit from CPD. Waller, Johnson’s office and the Chicago police all declined to provide comment for this story. Pension payments are 75% of the average salary during the officer’s final four years before retirement. Waller, 61, was paid $185,364 per year when he retired in August 2020, according to records from the city’s Department of Human Resources.)

— Democrats say “A new school year means new education laws on the books.”
— Democrats say “College-bound Chicago students receive trunks stocked with laptops, backpacks.” Gabrielle Allen puts me to shame. She worked two jobs (Pizza Hut and Harold’s Chicken) during her junior and senior years while I only worked one (S.S. Kresge). I only just barely made into the upper 20% of my high school class and my ACT score was only 24. My critics/opponents stress that I had tremendous unfair advantages. I was White, male, and my parents had sent me to Missouri Synod Lutheran grade schools.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: The largest illegal alien “colonia” in the United States is getting bigger. Located just north of Houston, the massive Colony Ridge development is home to more than 75,000 residents, nearly all of them migrants. The booming but sketchy assemblage of cheap single-family houses, mobile homes and hastily constructed shacks has been dubbed “The World’s Biggest Trailer Park.” Ten years ago, the area was mostly forested wetlands. Today it’s 10,000 acres of denuded residential lots, stretching mile after mile. The hyper-growth at Colony Ridge is stressing nearby towns, waterways and, as reported by FAIR, local schools. Conditions don’t figure to improve as the developer clear-cuts even larger swaths of woodlands to accommodate an unending wave of new arrivals. Colony Ridge’s marketing company, Terrenos Houston (website in Spanish), caters to migrants by issuing housing loans that do not require proof of citizenship. Prospective buyers simply use easily obtained Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs), with no need for a valid Social Security number in the application process.)

— Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance their platform. The Democrat Party focuses on that, but the Republican Party does not. Ever-increasingly, more and more and more leaders of the Republican Party in Illinois, DuPage County, and Milton Township reject more and more and more planks in the Republican Party platform, most commonly, the individual responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and/or equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving). I should write a book about that. I would focus on those leaders who have taken the most/biggest adverse actions against me since 2000 because I support the aforesaid planks.
