SPRINGFIELD STATE JOURNAL REGISTER
— Rep. Jimenez serving out term, takes hospital marketing job – Bernard Schoenburg (DIERSEN: The Democrats who ran GAO during the 1990s should have let me serve out my term, that is, they should have let me work at least until I was 55 in 2003 and eligible for regular retirement. Instead, they forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old. My Democrat GAO superiors wasted the work experience that I had gained a) working for GAO for almost 18 years, the last 11 years of which at the GS-13 Step 1-10 levels, currently $96,403-$125,325, b) earning job-related master’s degrees in 1997, 1980, and 1976, c) passing the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, d) working for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $81,071-$91,880, e) passing the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, and f) serving in the Executive Committee of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants 1983-1996. Independent organizations recognized the value of my work experience when they approved my applications to be a Forensic Accountant in 1997, Certified Financial Services Auditor in 1996, Certified Government Financial Manager in 1994, Certified Fraud Examiner in 1990, and licensed CPA in 1981.)

HARRISBURG DAILY REGISTER
— Enrollment continues to drop at southern Illinois community colleges – Chanda Green (DIERSEN: I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes a) who hint/imply/argue/shout that degrees from non-Ivy League universities are worthless and b) who dismiss/belittle/badmouth/demonize/denigrate/condemn degrees issued by NIU, Loyola, DePaul, and IIT. I should especially write a book about operatives and dupes who paint themselves as being paid by people who have degrees from Ivy League universities.)

NPR ILLINOIS
— GAO: More Taxpayers Will Owe The IRS In April Due To Under-Withholding – SCOTT NEUMAN (DIERSEN: Roskam should increase the $10,000 SALT cap to $20,000 for married filing jointly. I should write a book about those who have done the most to waste my knowledge of IRS. I worked for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $81,070-$91,880. I worked for GAO on audits of IRS for 3 years at the GS-13 Step 1-3 levels, currently $96,403-$102,830.)
https://www.npr.org/2018/08/01/634474267/more-taxpayers-will-owe-the-irs-in-april-due-to-under-withholding-report-says
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Based on simulations run by the Treasury Department, the GAO says taxes for 30 million Americans — 21 percent of taxpayers — are being under-withheld by their employers, meaning they are getting a larger check this year, but will owe at tax time in April. . .Who should be concerned? According to the GAO, a hypothetical taxpayer who is married with two children, earning $180,000 annually, $20,000 of which comes from non-wage income and who itemizes deductions.)

ROBERT FEDER
— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Critics/opponents of Charles Thomas hint/imply that he suddenly quit Maze Jackson’s morning show on WVON 1690-AM because Politico Illinois Playbook reported on connections between Jackson and a political consultant working for the reelection campaign of Governor Bruce Rauner.
https://www.robertfeder.com/2018/07/31/charles-thomas-quits-wvon-morning-show-im-getting-life-back/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Thomas, who joined WVON in April 2017 after he retired as political reporter from ABC-owned WLS-Channel 7, cited the difficult hours of morning drive for suddenly walking away from the 6 to 9 a.m. weekday gig. He would not comment on the Politico story or say whether it figured into his decision to leave. “I’m getting my life back,” he told me Monday. “When I retired [from ABC 7], I did not envision getting up at 3 o’clock in the morning every day and then having to go to bed every night at 7 or 8 o’clock. So it’s a good thing for me.”)

ILLINOIS POLICY INSTITUTE
— RETIRED KANE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT EMPLOYEE HAS BANKED $3.5M IN PENSION PAYMENTS – Joe Kaiser (DIERSEN: If I sought a government office or a political office, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and dupes would stress a) that in today’s dollars, the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) has paid me $1,084,822 ($4,322 X 251 months) and b) that I contributed to the CSRS only $70,932 in 1966-1997 dollars. Beyond hypocritically, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and dupes side with my Democrat GAO superiors who forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old.)
https://www.illinoispolicy.org/retired-kane-county-water-district-employee-has-banked-3-5m-in-pension-payments/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Pagorski’s current annual pension benefit is nearly $211,000, despite having only contributed $93,900 to his retirement during his 40 years of work, according to documents from the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, or IMRF. His is not the only expensive government worker retirement straining Kane County taxpayers. As many as 38 other local government pensioners in Kane County enrolled in IMRF are receiving six-figure annual payouts. One of those pensioners, Gregory Hergenroeder, was also a 40-year FRWRD worker and has already accumulated $2.1 million in just 12 years of retirement.)

ILLINOIS NEWS NETWORK
— Small business advocates warn anti-discrimination measure could mean more litigation – Greg Bishop (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes paint themselves as being pro-employer and anti-employee. They stress to employers a) that in 1998, I charged GAO with political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation in a lawsuit filed in Washington, DC that was transferred to Chicago in 2000 (SEE: https://gopillinois.com/documents/),b) that in 1988, when I was 40 years old, I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged GAO with reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation, and c) that I have always complained about patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation.)

— Local Media Needs Security. What Chance the Rapper’s Purchase of Chicagoist Means. The rapper and Chicago leader, 25, recently announced he bought the local outlet to resurrect it. My critics/opponents have made it extremely clear that want the GOPUSA Illinois Editor position to be VACANT FOREVER. But failing that, the want the next GOPUSA Illinois Editor to be someone who they can manipulate/dominate. They want someone who will PRETEND like conservative principles and the traditional family, right to life, immigration, Second Amendment, illegal drugs, equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving), and the rest of the planks in the Republican Party platform and in the Illinois Republican Party platform and the Milton Township Republican Central Committee resolution against video gambling DO NOT EXIST. Because they cannot manipulate or dominate me, my critics/opponents do everything that they can a) to stop me from putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails together and sending them out and b) to stop everyone from reading those emails. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/31/us/politics/facebook-political-campaign-midterms.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Facebook said on Tuesday that it had identified a political influence campaign that was potentially built to disrupt the midterm elections, with the company detecting and removing 32 pages and fake accounts that had engaged in activity around divisive social issues. The company did not definitively link the campaign to Russia. But Facebook officials said some of the tools and techniques used by the accounts were similar to those used by the Internet Research Agency, the Kremlin-linked group that was at the center of an indictment this year alleging interference in the 2016 presidential election.)
