— Democrats say “Asylum-seekers’ long wait for work permits: ‘It feels terrible, especially because I’m used to working’ Most migrants must wait 150 days after filing for asylum to apply for a work permit and can’t get that until their application has been pending at least 30 days, often longer.” If there had been as many illegals when I was young, they would have gotten the jobs that I got.
— Democrats say “A year since the first buses of migrants arrived in Chicago, the journey to asylum for Vannessa Olivera, others is just beginning. More than 13,000 immigrants have arrived since Texas Gov. Greg Abbott started sending them away on buses — so far 197 of them coming to the Chicago area.” Democrats ever-increasingly promote more illegal immigration.

— Democrats offer “a free job search workshop series for parents who have taken significant time out of the workforce to provide child care.” My outstanding mother devoted her life to raising me and my brother. She stayed home and raised us. She never attended high school. After her husband died suddenly when he was 47 and I was 21, she earned a graduate equivalency diploma and got a job in a dental office. To paint my father as having been filthy rich, my critics/opponents have always stressed that he made enough money so that she could stay home and raise me and my brother. My father never earned more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars. He almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. He had less money a) because he had brittle type 1 diabetes and had to pay the high cost of insulin and b) because he sent me and my brother on parochial grade schools. He was the first of my ancestors to earn a high school diploma. But because he had diabetes, he never attended college. Because of the aforesaid, I had to work my way through college and I did work my way through college.

— Democrats acknowledge that “Shooting reported at Guaranteed Rate Field during White Sox game as ’90s-themed concert canceled.”
— Democrats say “SAT test canceled at three Chicago sites. Imagine studying all summer for a college admission test, only to be told the test is canceled.” My critics/opponents are nasty/vicious. The biggest decisions that I made in my life include a) going to college, b) taking college preparatory courses in high school, c) getting the best ACT score that I could, and d) graduating in the upper 20% of my class. According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, the real reason for the aforesaid was my wanting to avoid the Vietnam draft. In my defense, starting while I was in grade school, my outstanding father frequently decried his not having a college degree. He had brittle type 1 diabetes from childhood. Everyone discouraged him from going to college arguing that the stress of trying to get a college degree would kill him. They succeeded in getting him to take stenography courses in high school. The best job that he could get was working in the office of a nasty chemical plant in northeast (downwind) Chicago Heights. He never made more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars. He almost always worked second jobs (playing music, selling hot dogs, delivering eggs) to pay the family’s bills. He did not buy a new car until he was 45 and it was a bottom of the line 2-door Chevrolet. He died suddenly in 1969 when he was 47 and I was 21.

In 1974, to get rid of me, my Democrat IRS superiors not only disallowed my travel vouchers, they hinted/implied that my vouchers were fraudulent. Of course, that ended my IRS career. The National Treasury Employees Union and GAO came to my defense and I eventually won in 1977. (SEE: https://www.gao.gov/products/b-180010.11 ) But by then, they had forced the IRS manager to transfer to Texas who had promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974. Their efforts to get rid of me rendered worthless a) my earning an MBA from Loyola in 1976 and b) my passing the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979. The aforesaid forced me to suffer a $21,863/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980. I would not have had to suffer the aforesaid adverse actions if I had been a Democrat, a minority, a female, and/or a veteran.

— This Is the Largest Gunmaker in Illinois – Samuel Stebbins
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The United States is the single largest civilian firearm market in the world. A recent Gallup poll found that 45% of Americans have a gun in their home. And many of those households have more than one, as the U.S. is the only country with more privately-owned guns than people. Whether for hunting, target shooting, personal protection, or home defense, consumer demand for firearms in the U.S. fuels a $32.1 billion a year industry. And across the country, companies are cashing in. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives reported that over 13.3 million firearms were manufactured in the U.S. for the domestic market in 2021. (Here is a look at which Americans own the most guns: a survey of all 50 states.) According to the ATF, there are more than 3,200 federally licensed firearm production plants in the U.S., and 43 of them are operating in Illinois. Between them, a total of 647,423 firearms were manufactured in the state in 2021. No company made more firearms in Illinois that year than Springfield Inc. Through a production facility in Geneseo, the company produced a reported 590,750 guns – or 91.2% of all firearms made in the state in 2021.)

My Democrat GAO superiors finally succeeded in forcing me to take their early retirement “offer” when it expired on September 30, 1997.
