— DeSantis made the Navy rank of Lieutenant Commander when he was 28 in 2006. The equivalent civilian GS grade is 12. I made GS-12 in 1974 (currently $92,279/year) when I was a 25-year-old IRS Revenue Officer. I made GS-13 (currently $109,732/year) in 1986 when I was a 38-year-old GAO Analyst. The equivalent Navy rank is Commander. According to my critics/opponents, federal employees are failures if they do not make GS-13 by age 25, GS-14 by age 30, GS-15 (currently $129,671/year) by age 35, and Senior Executive Service (currently $183,500/year) by age 40. Extremely few federal employees make the aforesaid promotion deadlines. How soon, if not already, will DeSantis’ critics/opponents paint his military career as being a failure, and therefore, that he is a failure? Since 1973 when I turned 25 years old, because I failed to make GS-13, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have demonized me, denigrated me, and condemned me as being a failure. Further, according to them, IRS should not have promoted me to GS-9 in 1972, to GS-11 in 1973, or to GS-12 in 1974 and GAO should not have promoted me to GS-13 in 1986. – Dave Diersen
