— Gov. J.B. Pritzker dumps chair of board that oversees hiring and promotions at Illinois State Police – RAY LONG and DAN PETRELLA
(COMMENT: Extremely few of my Democrat GAO superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates had relevant work experience outside of GAO. Extremely few had experience working for other federal agencies. So of course, because GAO audits IRS and because I had worked for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 Levels, currently $85,935-$97,395/year, they viciously demonized, denigrated, and condemned my IRS experience. They succeeded in keeping me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, that is, they succeeded in wasting my knowledge of IRS.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: The new law would exclude people with State Police experience, like Garcia, from holding the merit board’s executive director position, a move the Pritzker administration said was designed to ensure there is no favoritism in hiring. The administration said the provision was not aimed at Garcia.)

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES
— Mayor Lightfoot must appoint a strong and independent inspector general — but will she? Given her battles with the last IG, we’re concerned that Lightfoot will instead appoint a lapdog willing to abide with the mayor’s wishes. – Editorial
(COMMENT: From what I see, ever-increasingly, employers do not want employees who are strong/independent. They want employees who they can easily manipulate/dominate.)

CAPITOL FAX
— Foster grouses about new district in fundraising appeal
(COMMENT: I should write a book about the Democrat plants and the RINOs who gerrymandered my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 in Wheaton in 2015. To get rid of me, they drew me into the same precinct with Jeanne Ives. I lost about 250 voters west of the Illinois Prairie Path or about half of my about 500 voters that I had since 1999 and gained about 250 voters east of Warrenville Road. Fewer of the voters I gained were Republican than those who I lost.)

— You can’t fight city hall
(COMMENT: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes stress to Wheaton, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, and Wheaton Park District officials a) that I opposed Wheaton’s plans in install a traffic signal at Harrison and President and b) sued Wheaton for approving a deficient storm water drainage plan for its Cove Court subdivision, failing to disclose lot drainage easements in the subdivision, and allowing construction codes to be violated when my home was built. Of course, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes want Wheaton, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, and Wheaton Park District officials to punish me for the aforesaid.)
