But nevertheless, I took college preparatory courses, I earned an ACT score of 24, and I graduated in the upper 20% of my class.

Yesterday, I finished hand-delivering DuPage County GOP-provided envelopes to the 370 residences in my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 59 in Wheaton that have at least one registered Republican or Independent voter. Those 370 envelopes had 660 DuPage County Election Division-provided mailing labels and contained: a) the outstanding Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO)-provided Voter Guide, b) the sample ballot, and c) campaign pieces from the 14 of the 18 Republican candidates on that ballot who provided MTRO with their campaign pieces. I stuffed 5,920 pieces in those 370 envelopes — 5,180 campaign pieces (14X370), 370 Voter Guides, and 370 sample ballots. I had to fold the Voter Guides, sample ballots, and two of the campaign pieces. I used my photocopier to make 370 copies of the 2-sided sample ballot and 170 color copies of the Voter Guide. MTRO provided 200 of the Voter Guides. I hand-delivered the envelopes in 5 batches. There are about 550 residences in my precinct. There are tremendous difference in household incomes and housing values in my precinct. About 4 our 5 times when a Republican home is listed for sale, a Democrat buys it. The 18 candidates on the ballot in my precinct are: Tracy, Bailey/Del Mar, Fioretti, Harris, Drew, Soloman, Oakley, Lewis, Vrankovich, Grasso, Noonan, Schiappa, Henry, Eckhoff, Michaud, Schultz, Quirk, and Helland. – Dave Diersen

— A recent survey of journalists in America helped expose a hidden truth of the feminization of journalism: Female reporters now make up over two thirds of journalists under 30 and half of those over 30. Another study put female representation at 72% of all journalists. In researching this subject, I found a survey from 2017 showing women were around two thirds of journalists then. In comparison, in 1970 women made up only around 20% of U.S. reporters. As Journalism has becoming increasingly feminized, in direct correlation we have seen the changes in reporting from the more objective and fact-based to today’s more “woke” reporting. Feminization of the profession may best explain what so many decry and its exposure the motivation to fix the problem. First, men and women are different in ways that drastically effect the framing and reporting of stories. Multiple polls show men are far more likely to be opposed to censorship than women. Men are also far more tolerant of allowing the views of all sides in debates. One poll, for example, showed men were 3.5 times more tolerant than women for allowing speakers with of even opposing viewpoints to exercise free speech In a recent Pew Poll, men were found to be far more in favor of free speech than women, even when that speech is an opposing view and provocative. Women generally favor consensus and non-offensiveness over hard truth compared with men.
