ABC7
— TRUMP: ‘I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EASIER’ – CNN  (DIERSEN: If you are a Republican working for the federal government, it is not easy.  Democrats run the federal government.  Were it not for federal civil service protections, a) the Post Office would NOT have hired me in 1966 or let me work there for almost 3 years, b) IRS would NOT have hired me in 1971 or let me work there for almost 9 years, c) IRS would NOT have promoted me in 1972, 1973, or 1974, d) GAO would NOT have hired me in 1980 or let me work there for almost 18 years, and e) GAO would NOT have promoted me in 1986.  If you are a Republican who is involved in Republican politics to defend and advance the Republican Party platform like I am, it is not easy.  Far too many “Republican” activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. are really Democrat plants, Libertarian plants, Green plants, and RINOs who are hell-bent on destroying the Republican Party in Illinois, in DuPage County, in Milton Township, in Glen Ellyn, in Wheaton, in etc.  Most commonly, these anti-Republicans reject the party’s traditional family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks.  Most commonly, they promote LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, pot, booze, gambling, and other vices, weakening of the Second Amendment, and race and gender based preference giving.)

CHICAGO TRIBUNE
— Newly minted Cook County judge who refused traffic court duty quits bench – Steve Schmadeke  (DIERSEN: GAO audits IRS.  The Democrats who ran GAO’s Chicago office in 1980 did not want me to transfer from IRS to GAO. They thought that their forcing me to take an $18,847 (21%) pay cut to transfer from IRS to GAO would keep me at IRS, but they were wrong. They knew that I wanted to be assigned to audits of IRS so that I could use my knowledge of IRS that I had gained by working for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $79,563-$90,173. So to get me to go back to IRS, they succeeded in keeping me off IRS audits until the end of 1985 when the GAO manager who had hired me finally succeeded in a) getting me assigned to audits of IRS and b) promoting me to GS-13, currently $94,610. But then, in 1987, the Democrats who ran GAO’s Chicago office succeeded in forcing him to retire. At the end of 1988,  they threw me off audits of IRS and during 1989, they did everything that they could to get rid of me.  Were it not for Henry Hyde’s intervention, they might very well have succeeded.)
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-judge-cooke-resigns-traffic-court-met-20170428-story.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A new Cook County judge who for months defied orders from his supervisors to work in traffic court has resigned, according to an Illinois Supreme Court spokesman.  Richard Cooke stepped down from his $194,000-a-year post two days after a committee of 17 Cook County presiding judges voted to refer his “non-compliance with reporting to a judicial assignment” to the state agency that investigates allegations of judicial misconduct. The resignation was “effective at the end of business on Tuesday,” Chris Bonjean, a state Supreme Court spokesman, wrote in an email to the Tribune on Friday. The committee acted about a week after the Tribune began asking questions about the judge. On the same day it referred Cooke, the body also assigned Judge Jessica O’Brien, a small-claims court judge who was recently indicted on federal mortgage fraud charges, to administrative duties. His resignation means the Judicial Inquiry Board no longer has any authority over Cooke, 50, who ran unopposed in a Northwest Side subcircuit after lending his campaign an unprecedented $660,000. If the inquiry board had filed charges, Cooke could have been sanctioned or even removed from the bench.)

— Decades-old felony conviction raises questions on Waukegan school board member’s eligibility – Emily K. Coleman  (DIERSEN: If you sought a government office or a political office, what decades-old things would your critics/opponents bring up?  My critics/opponents side with my Democrat superiors in the federal government. They would bring up a) that my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, did not promote me beyond GS-13, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take an $18,847 pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980; b) that my Democrat IRS superiors did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims; and c) that my Democrat Post Office superiors forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests.)

Today will be the 848th consecutive day in a row that I have also send out a GOPUSA ILLINOIS evening email. Of course, the aforesaid is slighted, belittled, dismissed, badmouthed, demonized, denigrated, and condemned by my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes many of whom read the emails for reasons other than to get information a) to defend and advance the Republican Party platform and b) to help elect and reelect Republican candidates.)

— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD: In Mexico, ‘It’s Easy to Kill a Journalist’ – AZAM AHMED  (DIERSEN: Are you a journalist? I am; I have been the GOPUSA Illinois Editor since 2000.  If you are a journalist, how do those who have the most religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in your municipality, in your township/ward, in your county, and in Illinois treat you? I should write a book about those who have the most religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois, their operatives, and their dupes and how they have tried to kill me figuratively if not literally.  The aforesaid a) reject planks in the Republican Party platform and/or the Illinois Republican Party platform and work against those like me who support those planks, b) reject the Milton Township Republican Central Committee resolution against video gambling and work against those like me who support that resolution, c) focus on destroying those like me who they cannot manipulate/dominate, and/or d) were defendants in lawsuits that I have filed and/or they are anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, anti-draft avoiders (except Bill Clinton), and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America longer than their ancestors.)
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/29/world/americas/veracruz-mexico-reporters-killed.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The reasons for such killings are often varied: cartel assassins annoyed at aggressive coverage, corrupt public officials targeting critics to silence them, random violence and even reporters crossing over into the criminal worlds they cover. But according to government data, public servants like mayors and police officers have threatened journalists more often than drug cartels, petty criminals or anyone else in recent years, imperiling investigations and raising questions about the government’s commitment to exposing the culprits. Cases include journalists tortured or killed at the behest of mayors, reporters beaten by armed men in their newsrooms on the order of local officials, and police officers threatening to kill journalists for covering the news. But of the more than 800 serious cases of harassment, assault or homicide committed against journalists in the past six years, the federal office created to prosecute crimes against the freedom of expression has convicted suspects in only two.)
— As College Deadlines Near, Families Wonder What They Can Pay – RON LIEBER  (DIERSEN: Did you expect your parents to pay for your bachelor’s degree?  I did not. Neither of my outstanding parents attended college. My father was the first of his ancestors to earn a high school diploma. My mother never attended high school; she was a housewife and homemaker.  My father fought type 1 diabetes from age 14, worked in the office of a chemical plant, almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills, never earned more than $40,000 a year in today’s dollars, did not buy a new car until he was 45 and it was a bottom of the line 2-door Chevy, and died suddenly in 1969 when he was 47 and I was 21. I paid for my bachelor’s degree and for new cars with money that I earned washing dishes, cleaning golf shoes, chipping slag, pumping gasoline, delivering mail, working on an automobile assemble line, and working as a security guard.  My outstanding parents provided me with room and board during my first 2 years at UIC 1966-1968, weekends during my first semester at NIU in 1969, and the summer of 1969. I graduated from NIU in August of 1970.)

— How Trump Wants to Change Your Tax Deductions  President’s tax plan could create winners and losers – Laura Saunders  (DIERSEN: My Democrat IRS and GAO superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates were beyond furious a) that I took job-related graduate business, accounting, and finance courses while I worked for IRS and for GAO and b) that I deducted those courses. Extremely few of my Democrat IRS and GAO superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates took job-related graduate courses. Instead, to keep their jobs and to get promoted, they helped their superiors get rid of IRS and GAO employees who were Republican, White, male, older, and/or non-veteran, that is, they helped their superiors achieve their Affirmative Action, Diversity, and Inclusion quotas, goals, and targets.)
