— If you have employer health insurance, an Obamacare repeal will affect you too – Lisa Schencker

— Facebook is going to alert you when a story may be fake – Hayley Tsukayama  (DIERSEN: Will Facebook alert you when an editorial is unethically made to look like a news article?  Will Facebook post those individuals, organizations, companies, governments, countries, etc. that are on its blacklist?)
— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD WITH BIG COLOR PICTURES: Tough choice for struggling Elgin VFW post: Time to sell building? – Elena Ferrarin (FROM THE ARTICLE: The installation of video gambling machines didn’t help much, Webb said.)
— West District candidate Joseph Leone withdraws from Wheaton City Council race – Jessica Cilella
— FRONT PAGE WITH COLOR PICTURE: Hard work, sportsmanship pays off for Ivy Leaguer Tiffany Chen from Naperville – Elena Ferrarin  (DIERSEN: Of course, obviously, needless-to-say, and without question, because I have always opposed race and gender based preference giving, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes would use Chen to demonize me, to denigrate me, and to condemn me as being a complete failure.  They would stress that because I am a White male, I had tremendous advantages that Chen will never have. They would stress that because Chen is both a minority and a woman, she had to overcome tremendous discrimination from racists and from sexists.  They would stress that while Chen played tennis while she was in high school, I did yard work, delivered newspapers, and washed dishes.  They would stress that while Chen’s ACT score was a perfect 36, my ACT score was only 24.  They would stress that if I had applied to Ivy League universities, they never would have accepted me.)

— A court-appointed monitor investigating patronage hiring at the Illinois Department of Transportation can also review hiring at other state agencies, a federal judge has ruled. – Doug Finke  (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always promoted a) patronage hiring, b) patronage retention, and c) patronage promotions.)

— Possible Consolidation for DuPage County Departments

— Michelle Bachmann on ‘The Cost of Liberty’ – John Biver

— Blue states that voted for Hillary Clinton share something in common: they’re dying – Sarah Lee  (DIERSEN: Did your precinct, your municipality, your township/ward, and/or your county vote for Clinton?  To what extent is it dying, for example, how long do homes and other buildings that are for sale languish on the market?  When homes and other buildings sell, for how much are they sold below the asking price?  How many homes and other buildings are rented out because they cannot be sold?  How many homes and other buildings are empty?  How many residents are on government assistance?)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Apparently the top 10 states that voted for Hillary Clinton over President-elect Donald Trump during the 2016 election have a very disturbing commonality: they’re dying. According to the Independent Journal Review, citing work by noted Washington Times columnist and economist Stephen Moore, those states are performing so poorly economically “people are clamoring to move out of them.” The states include Massachusetts, California, Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, Illinois and Hawaii. From IJR: According to economic expert Stephen Moore, writing in the Washington Times, the reasons Americans are fleeing these states are all driven by economics — namely, that they share the progressive values of “high taxes rates; high welfare benefits; heavy regulation; environmental extremism; high minimum wages.”)

— Obama to Russia: We can do stuff to you  (DIERSEN: If my Democrat superiors in the federal government were forced to acknowledge adverse actions that they took against me, my Democrat GAO superiors would stress that they forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, did not promote me beyond GS-13, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take an $18,459 pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980.  My Democrat IRS superiors would stress that they did not promote me beyond GS-12, they disallowed my education deductions, and they disallowed my partial day per diem claims.  My Democrat Post Office superiors would stress that they forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests.)

— Trump trolled for misspelling ‘unprecedented’ in tweet

— The Kwanzaa Scam: A Fake Holiday Created by A Racist Con Man, Rapist And Torturer – Warner Todd Huston

— Obama Uses His Last Press Conference of 2016 to Trash America’s Favorite Punching Bag: The Media – MAEGAN VAZQUEZ  (DIERSEN: Should I write a book about those past and present activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois who blame me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails for their problems, for your problems, for my problems, and for everyone’s problems?)

— Be Grateful For What You Have – Tim Hetzner  (DIERSEN: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always demonized me, denigrated me, and condemned me for my not being thankful enough.  They hint/imply/argue/shout a) that I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, b) that I have always been privileged, c) that I never really earned what I have, and d) that I certainly do not disserve what I have.)

— Boomerang Boom: More Firms Tapping the Skills of the Recently Retired – CHRISTOPHER FARRELL  (DIERSEN: Are you retired?  What skills did you have when you retired?  I had almost 18 years experience working for GAO, the 11 years of which at the GS-13 Step 1-10 levels, currently $92-632-$120,427.  That included almost 9 years auditing federal financial industry regulators, almost 6 years auditing many other federal agencies, and 3 years auditing IRS.  I had almost 9 years experience working for IRS, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $77,899-$88,286.  I had master’s degrees in finance, accounting, and business.  I was a licensed CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Government Financial Manager, Certified Financial Services Auditor, and a Forensic Accountant.)

— Army demotes ‘swinging general’ after investigation into affairs, lifestyle  Haight to retire as lieutenant colonel, lose $43,000 a year in pension – Tom Vanden Brook  (DIERSEN: Government is nasty.  Politics is nasty.  My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois are nasty.  They have always hinted/implied/argued/shouted that the federal government wasted my career and forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old because I have always been “bad.”  My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes side with my Democrat GAO superiors and reject all the claims that I made in Diersen v. GAO.  SEE:
