— Dem Sen. Coons: ‘Legitimate Case’ IRS Has Abused Audits, But It Needs More Agents – IAN HANCHETT (COMMENT: My Democrat IRS superiors disallowed my education deductions. They disallowed my job-related graduate business courses at Loyola 1972-1976 and my job-related graduate accounting courses at DePaul 1976-1980. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, female, minority, or veteran. I should write a book about that. Overwhelmingly, those who side with my Democrat IRS superiors are Democrats, minorities, females, and/or veterans a) who never took job-related graduate courses and/or did not have to pay for those courses.)
(FROM THE ARTICLE: On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) said that “there is a legitimate case to be made that, in some instances in the past, the IRS has overused its audit authority” but defended additional IRS funding enacted by the Biden administration without legislative guarantees it won’t be used to audit taxpayers making under $400,000. — DeSantis: Trump is too old to be president – Casey Harper (COMMENT: My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always a) demonized, denigrated, and condemned my federal career and b) stressed that I avoided the Vietnam War draft. In 1973 when I was 25 years old, my Democrat superiors in the federal government deemed me to be too old to ever be promoted to GS-13, currently $109,732/year. The Navy equivalent is Commander. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, or veteran. Nevertheless, I did get promoted to GS-13 in 1986 when I was 32 after I had a) worked for GAO for almost 7 years, b) worked for IRS for almost 9 years, c) passed the Certified Internal Auditor Examination and became a licensed CPA in 1981, d) passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, and e) earned an MBA from Loyola in 1976. What do DeSantis supporters say about that? Unlike me, DeSantis became a veteran when he was 26. Like me, DeSantis did not earn a master’s degree until he was 27. DeSantis ended his Navy Reserve service in 2019 when he was 41 as a Lieutenant Commander. The GS equivalent is GS-12. I made GS-12 in 1974 when I was 25.)
