https://dupagepolicyjournal.com/stories/621598562-at-wheaton-s-edison-school-black-eighth-graders-to-lecture-whites-on-black-hair-culture-importance-of-black-history-month
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A black-only student group at Wheaton’s Edison School has been conducting lectures for white students this week, instructing them on what words it is appropriate to use around blacks, why it is important that whites find Black History Month important and the particulars of “black hair culture.” An email to parents and students obtained by DuPage Policy Journal outlined the details of Edison’s school-sponsored “Panthers in Black” lecture series. “There are different endings such as ‘-er’ and ‘-a’ which have two different meanings,” one slide from the presentation reads. The presentation goes on to dictate how the word should be approached. “When it is used between African Americans, the definition of the word changes and is commonly used as a term of endearment such as “friend” or “buddy”. ONLY African Americans can use it in this context, not other races,” another slide reads. The Panthers in Black Club is closed to non-black students. “If there are any African American students who would like to join Panthers In Black (PIB), please contact your school counselor. PIB works towards raising awareness about Black history, culture, and racial injustice,” the slideshow reads at the end. The lecture took place without parent notice. The lecturer was delivered to sixth-graders on Monday, March 7, seventh-graders on Tuesday, March 8, and to the eighth grade on Wednesday, March 9. The series was announced by the school via email. “This week, a group of students from our Panthers in Black group is presenting a short slideshow during part of the ELA block. The presentation is called POV from PIB (Point of View from Panthers in Black). The presenters are 8th grade students who are Black and want to help their non-black peers learn how to avoid saying some of the offensive and hurtful things they have heard in our school,” the school said in an email. “Some of the topics include the history and importance of Black History Month, the history of the n-word and the importance of never saying it, Black hair culture and the importance of not touching people’s hair and more. “We truly want our school to be a place where all students feel seen, accepted, respected, and valued. We are so proud of these girls for having the courage to share these important lessons with their peers in the hopes of creating a more welcoming and inclusive environment in our school.” Edison School is part of CUSD 200 and has 664 students in 2021, 464 whites, 59 Hispanics, 53 Asians and 42 blacks, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.)

(FROM THE POSTING: The grass roots and foundation of the political parties are its precinct committeepersons. They serve as the foot soldiers to the most fundamental political unit of government, the precinct. The precinct committeeperson helps shape party policy and participates in the selection process of candidates. A precinct committeeperson is elected to a two-year term in the even-year primary elections. Expectations of a precinct committeeperson: Represent the party’s voters at the county central committee convention to elect the county central chairman and its officers. The precinct committeeman casts a total number of party votes, (weighted vote), as cast in the precinct at the recent primary election. Attend and become involved in the party’s Township meetings. Become a voter registrar and register all qualified constituents. Appoint and fill vacancies of election judges for the precinct polling place. Provide candidate and election information to the voters. Circulate petitions for candidates prior to the primary election. Become familiar with the elected officials and legislatures so the concerns of the voters can be passed on to them)

https://illinoisfamily.org/education/school-approved-racism-in-western-suburb-of-chicago/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: It appears the racism identified as “anti-racism” and being endorsed all across America is bearing rotten fruit at ever younger ages and in ever more perverse ways. Just last week, administrators at Edison Middle School in Wheaton, Illinois allowed student members of the blacks-only “Panthers in Black” school club to lecture peers on the intricacies of using various forms of the “n”-word. Students learned who is permitted to use the “n”-word and which “n”-word suffix is appropriate in what context. Parents of students forced to listen to this non-voluntary lecture were not notified ahead of time or asked to sign a permission slip. Eighteen slides were included in the lecture addressing topics like the importance of Black History Month. This slide was notable for its vagueness. The Panthers in Black advocate for “recognizing” and “promoting” appreciation of African American “achievement, culture, heritage, sacrifices, and accomplishments, including past and current events.” Several things are unclear.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Perhaps you have read the book “1984” by George Orwell and published in 1949. In the totalitarian superstate Oceania, the government purposely breaks up families in order for the government to keep its power. The family structure needs to be non-existent so that the people cannot unite or feel loved. Here’s another interesting quote: “The planned destruction of the family was part of the communist agenda from its inception by Karl Marx and Frederic Engels. It became government policy in the USSR in about 1917. It was so successful in the USSR that it threatened to destroy society in the USSR. Curiously, while in the 1940s the USSR took steps to repair the damages its family-hostile policies had caused, American communists imported the Soviet agenda for the planned destruction of the family into the USA.” (Statement of Bill Wood, July 17, 2003, before the U.S. Congress Committee on Ways and Means)

— First round of ‘ancestors’ chosen for Evanston’s Restorative Housing Program reparations grants, but the selection draws more criticism of the historic offering – JOSHUA IRVINE
(COMMENT: Ever-increasingly, Democrats hint/imply/argue/shout that if you are a conservative old White male Republican, the longer that your ancestors have been in America, the more that you have benefited from their discrimination against minorities and against women. How soon, if not already, will Democrats demand that conservative old White male Republicans disclose when their ancestors immigrated to America, where they immigrated from, where they lived, what they did, etc.? All my ancestors immigrated during the 1840s and 1850s from what is now Germany. They always lived in northeast Illinois. On my father’s side, they worked in a brick factory in Chicago, homesteaded a farm in southeast Crete, and then operated Crete’s only hardware store. On my mother’s side, they were share-croppers and then bought and operated a farm in Grant Park along the Indiana border.)

(COMMENT: I took graduate accounting courses at DePaul 1976-1980, I took the Becker CPA Review 1978-1979, and I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979. But I should have majored in accounting at UIC 1966-1968, NIU 1969-1970, and Loyola 1972-1976 and taken the examination much sooner. I worked for IRS 1971-1980 as a Revenue Officer, the last 5 1/2 year of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 Levels, currently $88,229-$99,994/year. I have done a lot to help elect him and to help reelect him. I gathered signatures in my precinct on his nominating petitions. I got campaign sign locations for him in my precinct, including for second-floor 4X4 signs at the southeast corner of Roosevelt Road and Warrenville Road. I delivered lots of his campaign literature in my precinct. I invited him to speak at TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois and Illinois Center Right Coalition events. Duckworth had her thugs throw me out her rally with Michael J. Fox in the Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton in 2006. However, sadly, I should write a book about my critics/opponents who have blamed me the most and have blamed my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters the most for Roskam’s problems. Since 2005, my critics/opponents have demonized me, denigrated, me, and condemned me as being just like Jeff Gannon and even worse things. Since 2005, they have viciously used against me what happened with GOPUSA, Talon News, and White House Correspondent Jeff Gannon. SEE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talon_News Since 2005, they have hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I ask bad questions at press conferences and share privileged information with reporters that have caused Republican candidates to be defeated and even worse things. Needless-to-say, I should sue my critics/opponents.)

— COMMENT: Ever-increasingly, Democrats hint/imply/argue/shout that if you are a conservative old White male Republican, the longer that your ancestors have been in America, the more that you have benefited from their discrimination against minorities and against women. On my mother’s side, they were share-croppers and then bought and operated a farm in Grant Park along the Indiana border.

It was the first day of the weeklong period for candidates to file their nominating petitions for federal, state and local offices on the June primary ballot. (FROM THE ARTICLE: Former Kane County Board Chairman Chris Lauzen was among the first to file at the county clerk’s office Monday as he turned in paperwork to run for county treasurer. Democrat Jeffrey Pripusich also filed for treasurer. Lauzen, who served as county board chairman for eight years, said he wanted to be a “spending watchdog” for the county’s money. He pointed to several county expenditures he considered wasteful, including employing a lobbyist and the recent hiring of a public information officer. “If somebody is not satisfied with what’s going on in any level of government, rather than complain about it, do something about it,” said Lauzen, an accountant who also served in the Illinois Senate for 20 years.)

— DuPage County Divided Over Drawing of County Election Precinct Maps
(COMMENT: Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, Independents, and RINOs redraw precincts to get rid of Republican Precinct Committeemen like me. For the second time now, Democrats, Libertarians, Greens, Independents, and RINOs have drawn me in to the same DuPage County Milton Precinct 9 in Wheaton with Jeanne Ives.)
https://www.nctv17.com/news/top-stories/dupage-county-divided-over-drawing-of-county-election-precinct-maps/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: DuPage County voters could find they are grouped into fewer, larger precincts come the next election. Why Now? A new piece of legislation signed into law in November 2021 and discussed Tuesday at the county finance committee meeting reduces the number of DuPage County election precincts from 930 to 607. The current draft of the redrawn maps leaves fewer committeemen to serve as the voice of the voters, thereby impacting whether a party may be elected. What’s At Issue? Board member Amy Chavez said some precinct committee members and township officials have reached out to her, asking for changes to the proposed election precinct maps. “I think there is a lot of concern over these new lines,” Chavez said. Board member Sam Tornatore said something has to give. “It’s essentially a political attempt to change boundaries within precincts,” Tornatore said. The new state legislation comes on the heels of the county board agreeing on a new DuPage County redistricting map in a bipartisan effort in October 2021. Deputy County Clerk Adam Johnson said he stands by the election precinct maps put together by county clerk’s office staff. “It’s unavoidable that there’s going to be some people who are not happy with the way the maps turn out,” Johnson said. “Certainly, we’re open to constructive criticism on how that process could have been better massaged.” Board member Jim Zay said he would not support the precinct maps as proposed given the lack of time allotted for input. “We have a job to do,” Zay said. “This is not putting us in the best position to do our job.” Johnson tried to address concerns about the county clerk’s office getting input on the precinct maps. “While there hasn’t been a lot of time for as many outside parties to review the maps, from the feedback I have received, I haven’t heard much in the way of actual substantive complaints of how the maps were drawn in terms of meeting the state legislature’s requirements,” Johnson said. Tornatore said he doesn’t want to place blame on the county clerk’s office, but he believes taxpayer money may have been wasted. “I don’t know that the election division contemplated this legislation coming from Springfield,” Tornatore said. “I know it’s been kind of on the back burner. … Perhaps we should have taken it into consideration before we ordered as many printers as we did. But I’m going to presume that we have a printer for every precinct that if we now have 300-plus fewer precincts, we either should get a rebate for the money we spent or we’re going to have a lot of printers being stored that aren’t being used.” The county board authorized the purchase of new voting equipment valued at roughly $7.2 million in October 2021. That contract as awarded includes funding to pay for printers, among other things. The county has been in the process of matching polling places with election precincts to determine which ones will be combined into a single location. Officials anticipate a reduction in the number of polling places, but they believe the amount of new printers purchased will remain appropriate for the layout of available voting locations. Moving Forward. County board members acknowledge they don’t have a lot of time to spare. The election precinct maps need to be adopted no later than Friday. A special county board meeting on this topic is scheduled for Friday at 8 a.m.)

POLITICO ILLINOIS
— SCOOP: Republican Steve Kim is throwing his hat in the ring to challenge Democratic Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, nearly rounding out a Republican slate for the June 28 primary. Kim is a familiar name on the political scene, having challenged Democratic AG Lisa Madigan when she ran for reelection in 2010. Kim was also the running mate to Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Rutherford in the 2014 primary contest that ultimately went to Bruce Rauner. A source close to Kim’s campaign said he would be part of a slate that includes state Rep. Tom Demmer for treasurer, former U.S. Attorney John Milhiser for secretary of state, and McHenry County Auditor Shannon Teresi for auditor, who announced yesterday. Don’t be surprised if Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin leads the slate as the gubernatorial candidate. These candidates aren’t the only Republicans running for statewide offices, but by teaming up they hope to have an advantage securing a statewide seat (or seats) that are now controlled by Democrats. Abby Witt, executive director of the Democratic Party of Illinois, calls the slate a “Rauner Reboot” that’s being run by Ken Griffin. Actually, Griffin has so far kept out of the statewide races — though he’s acknowledged wanting to defeat Gov. JB Pritzker. For his part, Kim said the AG job is “critical to repairing the state’s reputation as a haven for crime and public corruption.” And like Teresi did yesterday, he invoked Michael Madigan, the former House speaker, in his remarks, saying, “Under JB Pritzker and Mike Madigan, Springfield remains a cesspool run for the benefit of the politicians and insiders and not the people of Illinois.” Kim, born in South Korea, is an attorney with an expertise in international issues. He was an adviser to former Gov. Jim Edgar on trade and Asian affairs, a trustee in Northfield Township, and an international affairs director for the State Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a member of the Rules Committee of the Illinois Supreme Court. In the private sector, Kim worked on internal and external affairs with Ameritech, now AT&T, while going to law school at night. After earning his law degree, Kim was VP of government and public affairs at Time Warner. He’s since practiced law at a boutique firm that advises small- and medium-size companies. . .Republican Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri won’t seek reelection: He was first elected in 1994. “I’m thinking that there’s other things I want to do, like maybe teach or practice more law … and just have more time with my friends and family,” Silvestri said in a phone interview with the Tribune’s Alice Yin. “I hope that my legacy is that I tried to represent the people of our area to the best of my ability, understanding the social and financial limitations that government has.” . . .Pete DiCianni has been unanimously endorsed by the Addison Township Republican Organization for DuPage County Board chairman. Di Cianni currently serves as the commissioner of the 2nd District. – Shia Kapos

— White People Who Reject Racism Can Teach Us A Lot About How To Create A More Inclusive Workplace And A More Enlightened Society – Susan Harmeling
(COMMENT: I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes who are “Republican,” White, male, older, “Protestant,” and/or German American who have not been discriminated against because they are the aforesaid. I would focus on the aforesaid who serve as operatives or dupes for, glorify and praise, pander to, cover up the wrong doing of, and/or give money a) to “Republicans” who discriminate against Republicans to curry favor with Republican-haters, b) to Whites who discriminate against Whites to curry favor with White-haters, c) to older people who discriminate against older people to curry favor with those who hate older people, d) to “Protestants” who discriminate against Protestants to curry favor with Protestant-haters, and e) to German Americans who discriminate against German Americans to curry favor with German American-haters.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: It is often hard for people who have experienced racism or oppression to convince those who haven’t of the pain and injustice of their plight. They need White allies, and much has been written about the effectiveness of having White advocates in the fight for equality and racial justice.)

I would focus on hate-filled Trump-hating Trump-haters a) who redrew precinct lines this year in Milton Township and DuPage County, b) who stopped DuPage Republicans from helping sponsor Wheaton’s 2021 Independence Day parade and fireworks, and c) who promoted LGBTQ big time in downtown Wheaton in 2020.)
