— Ms. Monopoly’s ‘woke’ rules are bad for girls, devalue women – RACHEL
GRESZLER (DIERSEN: While I worked for the federal government for almost 30
years, my superiors were always under tremendous pressure from Democrat politicians
to give tremendous preference to their female employees, and especially to
their female employees who were Democrat, minority, and/or younger. Of course,
that meant discriminating against their employees who were male, Republican,
White, and/or older. Ever-increasingly, the officers of the Milton Township
Republican Central Committee, DuPage County Republican Central Committee,
Illinois Republican party, Republican Party, etc. are under tremendous pressure
to give tremendous preference to females, and especially to those who are
minority, and/or younger. Of course, that means discriminating against those
who were male, White, and/or older, that is, discriminating against the base of
the Republican Party.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: I
have three girls and three boys. Some of them have recently gotten into
Monopoly, the classic board game. But my kids won’t be playing Hasbro’s new
version, Ms. Monopoly, which gives women 20% more than men when they pass go. .
.But I do not see how a game that gives women a head start supports or
encourages either women or men. Instead, it just embeds inequity and incites
resentment. If my children played this game, I’m sure my girls would be thrilled
— at first — over the advantages it offers. No doubt they’d gloat as they
passed go and pocketed 20% more than their brothers. And I’m equally sure these
things would upset my boys, leading them to retaliate with verbal jabs at their
sisters. If one of the girls won, the boys would give her no credit, claiming
it was only because the rules of the game were unfair. And if one of the boys
won. Wow. I can hear the disparagements now, about how girls must be really
lame if they can’t win even with a huge advantage.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: To
escape starvation, Irish peasant emigrated to America. Coming from rural
backgrounds, most lacked the necessary skills required by industrializing
America. They had to take unskilled jobs, paving the streets and digging the
canals, while the women were forced into menial jobs as maids and laundresses.
And there was prejudice against the Irish. America was largely Protestant. The
Irish were Catholics. Many Americans believed the Irish owed their allegiance
to the Pope. Additionally, the Irish immigrants threatened to take jobs from
American citizens. Fearing that they would also take political power, there was
a backlash, which produced the Know-Nothing Party, whose very reason for being
was anti-immigration xenophobia. “Help Wanted” signs were modified to
add, “No Irish need apply!” Then came the Civil War. As Irishmen
disembarked, they were met by Union military recruiters who offered them $300
to join the Union Army. And they did.)

Breen, lawyer for Daleiden and vice president and senior counsel with the
