(FROM THE ARTICLE: February was a busy month for Students for Fair Admissions Inc. (“SFFA”), an anti-affirmative action organization. On February 25, 2021, SFFA sued Yale claiming that Yale’s affirmative action admissions policy unfairly favors Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander applicants over white and Asian applicants. (This, despite the fact that the U.S. Department of Justice dropped a similar suit against Yale less than a month earlier.) Perhaps unsurprisingly, SFFA also sued Harvard College (in case you’re wondering, Harvard College is the undergraduate institution of Harvard University) back in 2014, claiming that Harvard’s admissions policy disadvantaged Asian American applicants. After a lengthy stay, the district court in that case found that Harvard’s policy was not unlawful and the First Circuit affirmed. On the same day that SFFA filed its lawsuit against Yale, it asked the Supreme Court to weigh in on its suit against Harvard. If the Supreme Court hears the case, it will be the first time since 2016 (when Justice Kennedy cast the deciding vote upholding an affirmative action program in Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin) —and the first time since conservatives gained a 6-3 majority—that the Supreme Court will decide an affirmative action case. While the Supreme Court has not decided whether it will hear the case, at least 20 amicus briefs have already been filed.)

The Disney wokeness program comes under the umbrella name of “Reimagine Tomorrow” composed of “training modules” that sound like indoctrination by a Maoist cult. Rufo writes: I have obtained a trove of whistleblower documents related to Disney’s “diversity and inclusion” program, called “Reimagine Tomorrow,” which paints a disturbing picture of the company’s embrace of racial politics. Multiple Disney employees, who requested anonymity out of fear of reprisals, told me that the Reimagine Tomorrow program, though perhaps noble in intent, has become deeply politicized and engulfed parts of the company in racial conflict. The core of Disney’s racial program is a series of training modules on “antiracism.” In one, called “Allyship for Race Consciousness,” the company tells employees that they must “take ownership of educating [themselves] about structural anti-Black racism” and that they should “not rely on [their] Black colleagues to educate [them],” because it is “emotionally taxing.” The United States, the document claims, has a “long history of systemic racism and transphobia,” and white employees, in particular, must “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.” Disney recommends that employees atone by “challeng[ing] colorblind ideologies and rhetoric” such as “All Lives Matter” and “I don’t see color”; they must “listen with empathy [to] Black colleagues” and must “not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience.” As part of this woke ideology the idea of equality must be ditched in favor of “equity.” In another module, called “What Can I Do About Racism?,” Disney tells employees that they should reject “equality,” with a focus on “equal treatment and access to opportunities,” and instead strive for “equity,” with a focus on “the equality of outcome.” The training also includes a series of lessons on “implicit biases,” “microaggressions,” and “becoming an antiracist.” The company tells employees that they must “reflect” on America’s “racist infrastructure” and “think carefully about whether or not your wealth, income, treatment by the criminal justice system, employment, access to housing, health care, political power, and education might be different if you were of a different race.” There are many, many more examples of cultish leftism that has taken hold at Disney but I leave with you one final example from Rufo’s expose of their descent into political insanity: Finally, as part of an initiative labeled “CEO sponsored priorities,” Disney has launched racially segregated “affinity groups” for minority employees, with the goal of achieving “culturally-authentic insights.” In the original launch, the Latino affinity group was called “Hola,” the Asian affinity group was called “Compass,” and the black affinity group was called “Wakanda.” The racial affinity groups, also called Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs), are technically open to all employees but in practice have become almost entirely segregated by race, with the occasional exception for white “executive champions” who attend on behalf of corporate leadership. And here is the viewpoint on all this woke craziness by white “executive champion” Bob Iger: …executive chairman Bob Iger pledged that the company “should be taking a stand” on political controversies and will no longer “shy away from politics” in the future. (FROM THE ARTICLE: 1968 Dodge Charger R/T The Dodge Charger debuted in 1966 and received its chassis from the mid-sized Coronet. It made great efforts to curve a body and life of its own. It became a beloved high-speed streetcar and one of the more pricey fastback specialty machines of this season. The standard engine was a 5.2-liter V-8 engine discharging 230 hp. Over time, engines such as a 6.2-liter V-8 generating 325 ponies were availed. The icing on the cake was the 426 cubic-inch Street HEMI engine that changed fortunes for the Dodge Charger. It is a simple strategy that he has dubbed “the Precinct Strategy” that any patriot can participate in. He points out that merely voting for Republicans give one no power over elected representatives. Likewise, merely registering as a Republican gives one no more leverage.
