Let me step back and explain…Courtney Rogers was an HR worker for Compass Group, USA when a new company program called “Operation Equity” was initiated. Compass falsely labeled this program a ‘diversity’ initiative, while specifically prohibiting participation by white men from its promised promotions and plentiful workplace benefits. You read that correctly… white men in Compass Group USA were not allowed to apply or participate. The program was only available to “women” and “people of color.” Even though she is not a white man herself, this blatant discrimination didn’t sit right with Courtney. She expressed her concerns and requested an accommodation, so that she would not be required to work on this new program. The initiative directly conflicted with her sincere religious beliefs holding that all people, regardless of race or gender, are created equal and should be treated fairly… just as our Constitution promises to all Americans. Courtney was assured by a manager that there would be no retaliation against her, and that she could be assigned different responsibilities……and yet within weeks, that very same manager terminated her. He had assured Courtney that she was doing excellent work, but the termination letter that Compass sent her said that she was being terminated for “unsatisfactory performance.” We’ve taken on Courtney’s lawsuit to get justice following her clearly wrongful termination and we’ll need your help in this critical battle.
