I earned an MBA from Loyola in 1976 and I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979. My Democrat GAO superiors gave me unfair job assignments, performance expectations, and performance appraisals. They assigned me to supervised all their most problematic employees. The kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO. They delayed my promotions and never promoted me beyond GS-13. They used AA to promote over me my coworkers who were minority, female, and/or veteran and a) who had less job-related work experience than I had, b) who had less job-related education than I had, and/or c) who had not taken the CPA or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examinations, let alone passed them. I earned a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980, I passed the CIA examination on my first attempt in 1981, I became a licensed CPA in 1981, I became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 1990, Government Financial Manager in 1994, Financial Services Auditor in 1996, and Forensic Accountant in 1997, and I earned a master’s degree in financial markets and trading from IIT in 1997.
