The Democrats who ran GAO in 1980, IRS in 1971, Firestone Stores in 1970, and the Post Office in 1966 hired me because they could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, younger person, or veteran who would take the job. They gambled and lost that I would become a Democrat. After I graduated from NIU when I was 21 years old in 1970, I accepted the only job offer that I got. It was from Firestone Stores. But that job did not really require a college degree. My Firestone Store boss rudely fired me in 1971 because I told him that I had accepted a job offer from Oldsmobile. He would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran. But Oldsmobile withdrew that job offer saying that it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. All during my entire life, employers that might have hired me were under ever-increasing pressure from Democrat leaders to hire Democrats who are minority, female, younger, veteran, non-Protestant, non-German American, and/or have ancestors who have not been in America for a long time. That ever-increasingly rendered worthless a) my 1970 (management) bachelor’s degree, b) my 1976 (business), 1980 (accounting), and 1997 (finance) master’s degrees, c) my 1979 (accounting), 1981 (internal auditing), 1990 (fraud examination), 1994 (government financial management), 1996 (financial services auditing), and 1997 (forensic accounting) professional certifications, and d) my 1981 professional license (CPA). Because I complained about the aforesaid, a) my Democrat Post Office superiors disallowed my sick leave requests in 1968 and 1969 and forced me to resign in 1969, b) my Democrat IRS superiors disallowed my travel vouchers in 1974 and my education deductions in 1978 and never promoted me beyond GS-12, and c) my Democrat GAO superiors forced me to take a $23,472/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS, delayed my promotions and never promoted me beyond GS-13, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, and forced me to retire in 1997. My RINO critics/opponents have no problem with what my Democrat superiors did to me. Actually, they applaud it. I should write about that. – Dave Diersen

— The overall cost of raising a child is now nearly $300,000. I should write about how my Democrat GAO superiors punished me for my wife and I giving up trying to have children without trying IVF. In 1989, they stressed that our health insurance covered IVF, threw me off audits of IRS, gave me a very bad job assignment, gave me very unfair performance expectations, gave me a very bad performance appraisal, and ranked me at the bottom of my coworkers for pay-for-performance. According to them, if we had children, I would never had been able to a) pass the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, b) earn a master’s degree in accounting in 1980, c) pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, d) become a licensed CPA in 1981, e) earn four more job-related professional certifications in 1990, 1994, 1996, and 1997, and f) earn a master’s degree in finance in 1997. Further, according to them, my wife would never had been able to keep her good job or earn a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1986. My Democrat GAO superiors a) had spouses who had little or no income and b) decried the time and money needed to raise children. I should write about that. – Dave Diersen

Since 2015, to punish me, they have had their operatives and dupes a) gerrymander my precinct in 2015, b) end my service as the Republican fundraiser for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks in 2021, c) almost stop me from attending the DeSantis event in Elmhurst in 2023, and d) end my membership on the Illinois Republican Party State Convention Platform and Resolutions Committee in 2024. They stress that even though I have been a member of the Milton Township Republican Organization since 1999, the organization a) has never asked me to serve as one of its officers, b) rudely fired me as its webmaster in 2004 and 2010, and c) rudely defeated my bid to serve as its treasurer in 2004.
