Of course, not all invaders participating in the “fundamental transformation” of America want to commit jihad. Some just want to commit crimes, because they know nothing will happen to them when they do. Consider Luis Rodrigo Perez, a Dreamer, age 23, illegal immigrant from Mexico. His dream was to murder Americans, and this month he has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams, thanks to the fact that New Jersey refused to hold him on an ICE detainer when he was jailed on domestic violence charges. Not only did New Jersey Democrats not honor the feds’ detainer, they didn’t even tell ICE when they cut him loose. Days later, the career criminal was in Springfield, Mo., accused of murdering three Americans. Two were heard begging for their lives. He allegedly wounded two others before finally being collared. Last week a video went viral of a Mexican illegal immigrant in Arkansas shooting at cops. Luis Cabos-Cenabio had two previous arrests during the Obama years, but the Democrats decided he should remain in the country, on welfare. America wasn’t always like this. Once we were a sovereign nation. We had borders, and everyone had to obey the law, not just taxpayers, citizens and legal immigrants. But something happened. Fifty-five years ago today, John F. Kennedy was buried. With JFK’s murder, something happened to the American psyche, at least the Democrats’ psyche. Eighteen months later, at the behest of Ted Kennedy, the Democrats passed the Immigration Reform Act of 1965. The floodgates opened, and the slaughter began. Now the Democrats demand ever more of what’s destroying this country — illegal immigration. Lee Harvey Oswald, or whoever killed JFK, has a lot to answer for.)

Illinois is now one of the bluest of blue states. What happened, and what’s next? It happened for several reasons. First, Illinois is, and has been, trending Democratic. Demographic changes are profound and persistent. ‎In addition, there was a down ballot anti-Trump and anti-Rauner effect. Trump’s biting social and cultural message that perhaps saved Senate seats cost Republicans House seats such as Illinois 6 and 14. Moderate suburban voters abandoned Republicans. The anti-Rauner effect was cumulative but fatal down ballot. His obstreperous budget stance, combined with yielding to Democrats on abortion and sanctuary status, alienated Independents and Republicans, who never returned to the fold. He cooked his own goose. Now that Democrats virtually control Illinois there are no bucks to be passed.‎ Two choices loom. They can claim a mandate for bold new programs, but at great cost. Illinois does not have two nickels to rub together. Or they could proceed modestly, conserving scarce resources for the looming budgetary tidal wave. (FROM THE ARTICLE: At the top of Donald Trump’s journalistic enemies list is April Ryan, the fifty-one-year-old American Urban Radio Networks correspondent. Ryan—who has covered the presidency for more than two decades—is also an on-air political analyst for CNN and the author of three books, including the recently released Under Fire: Reporting from the Front Lines of the Trump White House. Around Washington, D.C., Ryan holds the title “Dean of the White House Press Corps.” “I watched her get up,” the president fumed last week before departing for Paris. “I mean, you talk about somebody that’s a loser. She doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing… She’s very nasty, and she shouldn’t be… You’ve got to treat the White House and the Office of the Presidency with respect.” What Trump may find disrespectful is that Ryan has a penchant for asking tough questions on topics he’d doesn’t want to hear about: voter suppression, civil rights, Russia.
