(FROM THE ARTICLE: For years, Orland Park Mayor Keith Pekau has been saying the village is a non-sanctuary municipality. On January 15, the board of trustees made it official. The board voted 6-0, with Joni Radaszewski absent, on an ordinance declaring that the village will not be a sanctuary city. In past meetings, Pekau said that allowing migrants into the community was unfair to the residents of the community and unfair to the migrants themselves as Orland Park is not equipped to handle them. He added that sanctuary cities go against federal law even though it’s being encouraged on the state and county level. “We are clearly not a sanctuary city,” Pekau said. “We will not aid and abet the state, the county, or the city of Chicago in violating federal law. “And it’s really unfortunate that we have to pass something like this. We shouldn’t really have to say that we need to pass an ordinance saying we’re going to follow federal law. But it seems like in this current environment, we do.” On the problems caused by migrants and illegal immigrants, Pekau paraphrased former President Ronald Reagan. “The beauty of America is that if you come here from somewhere else you can become an American,” Pekau said. “No other country takes people in, and they become Americans like America does. “But it must be done legally and it seems absolutely nuts that we have to pass an ordinance that we will follow U.S. law. Now Chicago has reached out and asked us to help them violate federal law.” The mayor said that there is $450 billion being spend nationally on “non-citizens illegally crossing our borders” and that money can be better spent on the local level.)

At that time, city staff was directed to look into the suggestion and report back to the council. “Based on initial staff research, migrant housing lists are currently being maintained by government agencies at the federal and state level, as well as through private charities,” Krieger writes in the memo. “As a result, it has been determined that it is not necessary for further city consideration and therefore this matter will not appear on a future city council agenda.” The message will be part of a “manager’s memorandum” expected to be posted to the city’s website, city spokeswoman Linda LaCloche said. At the Jan. 16 council meeting, McBroom floated the idea of a volunteer list of residents willing to house migrants and had the support of three council members – Nate Wilson, Jennifer Bruzan-Taylor and Paul Leong – to have staff look into the suggestion and report back to the council at a later date. Though McBroom said last week he was sincere in his proposal, he said Thursday the suggestion was a “polite challenge” to those who support an open border policy. “It was a sincere challenge because the city of Chicago clearly cannot handle this crisis anymore, and they’re putting pressure on the cities,” McBroom said. “The way I see it, we’ve got one of two options. Individuals can contact their state representatives to pressure them to get the border secure. Or, if you supported this policy and you believe an open border is a good policy, then are you willing to house a migrant family? There are a lot of them who are homeless right now in the dead of winter.” McBroom’s proposal quickly drew national attention, and McBroom on Thursday appeared on a Fox News program. It also sparked a flurry of emails to council members with reactions ranging from outrage from conservatives who blasted McBroom, a Republican, for suggesting people house new arrivals to a local church inquiring how families could help. McBroom brushed off some of the reaction from fellow conservatives, saying he could “take a few arrows” and said his challenge at least got people talking. Others, however, didn’t see his actions in the same light. “I don’t appreciate Naperville becoming a national laughing stock or just being used for political points,” Councilman Ian Holzhauer said. As the city faced increased scrutiny, Mayor Scott Wehrli said he had a discussion with McBroom late last week about his proposal. “I suggested to him if he had a change of heart, he should contact the city manager and let him know,” Wehrli said. McBroom on Thursday acknowledged he contacted Krieger about the proposal and asked to have it removed from future agendas. Wilson, who initially supported the measure, also requested the same. Krieger reached out to Taylor and Leong, who also supported ending further inquiry and removing it from the agenda. (FROM THE ARTICLE: Cultural Replacement Theory “Replacement Theory” is often denigrated by the media as a racist conspiracy held by white people who are “afraid to lose power.” This is nonsensical for a number of reasons, including the fact that if “white people” were a monolith and we had all the power, then we would simply snuff out any threats to that power and lock down our borders. There would be nothing anyone could do to stop us. The truth is, there is no white monolith, there is no patriarchy and there is no such thing as systemic racism. Do some leftist activists clamor for mass migration to replace white people in the US and Europe? Absolutely. They call it “decolonization.” Is this the real purpose of mass migration? Probably not. The replacement going on is not so much about replacing white people as it is about replacing western culture. The goal, I believe, is to open the floodgates to foreign elements because most of them come from more socialist systems that have no understanding of individual freedom. In this way, the establishment can dilute the American culture of independence and use the tyranny of the majority (democracy) to erase our values and principles forever. This is why you will hear Biden and his ilk constantly pontificate on “democracy” and the “defense of democracy’ and the conservative “threat to democracy.” This is very deliberate terminology. When they say “democracy”, they are talking about the rule of the mob; the tyranny of the majority. They are talking about collectivism, socialism and ultimately authoritarianism for the “sake of the greater good.” Migrants are being used to phase out the pillars of western civilization. This is why the borders must be secured now and illegals must be kicked out of the country with haste. No martial law, no FEMA detention facilities, no amnesty, no asylum, no welfare and no subsidies. They just need to be removed and sent back to where they came from and if they return illegally they should be severely punished. In order for this to happen it would appear that southern states will have to enforce their own border security. But how to do this without federal interference? The American public will have to step in and step up to help states like Texas. The movement will have to be so overwhelming that the federal government is afraid to intervene. The shape of this secure border action will require trial and error, but as long as Texas is willing to continue arresting illegals and shipping them out of the country, all that is needed is a contingent of deputized Americans to help watch the border and catch people trying to cross. There may also be a need for people to defend border walls and fences from federal sabotage. Some will argue that this constitutes a violation, a defiance of federal authorities, and I would say yes, it is, and that’s a good thing. The Biden Administration is in dereliction of its duty to keep the country safe from foreign invasion. Doing nothing and leaving borders undefended from mass immigration is no different from refusing to defend the border from a foreign military. If the current trend is allowed to continue, the stage will be set for a host of emergencies that will be exploited to give elites the excuse to erase what constitutional protections we have left. This cannot be tolerated. It’s time to end it.)
